They can visit one day - spending a couple hours telling you lots of things about your pool and everythings good to go and they'll finish the job by such a date etc.and then a day later they'll just email you saying the COMPLETE OPPOSITE and they don't do what your pool needs!

Then when you ask what the 2 hours of contrary advice/info was the day before - that "everything was good to go and they'll work up final price and get things going. " - they don't even bother to make up an excuse - they just leave you hanging with no response at all!

Near the end of the visit he did ask if we opened and closed the pool ourselves - even though that had nothing to do with replacing the liner job they said they would do. He did have a bit of a stiffled reaction when I told him we did. So maybe they just passed us over to move on to someone they could repeatedly charge for that.

BEWARE - they are fully capable to tell you one thing, MANY things emphatically one day - and the complete opposite the next.

If you still want them to do a job - you might want to suggest you'll give them ongoing service fees too.

Where to begin! Thank you first off to Peter! We are newbies in purchasing a hot tub and from the moment we walked into their showroom we knew we were going to buy from them. Peter was so informative, friendly and made us feel confident in our purchase. Once the hot tub was delivered, Rob came out to set up and teach. Fantastic guy.knows his stuff.makes it easy to understand and really fun to work with! Our hot tub came damaged in transit (no one's fault) and Peter and Rob were on it instantly.our turn around time for a replacement was 3 days! We purshased the Canadian spa series and so far.amazing! Thanks to this team we are so happy!

Rob is rare breed. Very knowledgeable, readily available and honest. His quick response time is so appreciated. I called 3 hot tub guys and left messages with no return call, and when i called Rob, he actually picked up and immediately helped me with a solution for my hot tub issue. No price gauging, just honest and efficient service.

Very honest and honourable family business!

We spoke with Peter first and he gave us his undivided attention and explained in simple terms about what we needed to know about getting a Hot tub. It is a very big purchase and we were nervous… we went to a few other places before coming to Lakeshore Pools and Hot Tubs and were a bit turned off by the high pressure sales tactics we encountered. Peter told us both sides of the story, including how to maintain our tub, what we can expect our monthly bills to be and assured us he would be with us along the way. Not just sell the tub and leave us to figure it out for ourselves.

We placed our order shortly after COVID started and waited… It took a little longer than we thought (even though Peter was very upfront about the supply chain issues the industry was facing). We were updated along the entire way. Full transparency was their policy so we never worried, we were just excited to upgrade our backyard.

When the tub arrived it was installed by Robbie and his team. The whole installation process was fast and smooth. Robbie spent sometime answering my questions before he left and put my mind at ease. I can be a bit of a worrier, he sensed this and dispelled all my concerns. He is so friendly:)

We have had the Hot tub for awhile now and everything we were originally told was true, no surprises. I waited to write this review because I wanted to make sure it wasn’t too good to be true.

Learning how to maintain the tub was a bit of a learning process but I never felt left like I was left to fend for myself. Whenever I called or emailed my questions were promptly answered. I can’t imagine getting something this expensive and not having that after service attention. We go to the store still to get water tested, buy chemicals and say hi (even though you can order via their online store, I just like to chat sometimes:) especially during this isolated time).

I’m happy we choose to go with Lakeshore Pools and Hot tubs. I read all the other reviews and all these people couldn’t be wrong. No other company even comes close to their reputation and now I see why.

Hot tub pump was growling like a wounded tiger and area vendors did not have stock. Peter shipped a new pump out, no charge, received in 3 days. Hassle-free ordering and Peter was friendly and professional!

I needed a pool cover and winter closing for my brand new pool that was installed in May 2021.my first season. I sought advice and an estimate for various options and spoke with Peter, the owner/manager, and another gentleman at the store. I got excellent advice and placed an order for a safety cover and winter closing. Regan came over to my house to conduct proper measurements for ordering the custom pool cover in September and later in November he came with Brendan to install the new safety cover and winterize our pool. They simply did a fantastic job with no hassle. I have had 3 pools in and hot tubs in my lifetime in different properties and know a thing or two about pools and hot tubs.and naturally I have dealt with several pool installers and pool service firms over the years. I must say that I have had unpleasant and stressful times with a few of the previous pool supply/service firms (mainly interested in selling and taking your money). But NOT with Lakeshore pools & Hot Tubs. They are very knowledgeable, honest, straight forward, caring and truly customer focused. While I was waiting for my new safety cover to be manufactured they even offered to come and help keep my pool clean every week without making any fuss or wanting to charge us for it.
Peter, Regan, James, Brendan and other staff at the store are truly pros and care about their customer.not just talking or using a fancy slogan but actually caring. We are delighted to have them nearby in Port Credit and do business with them. Thanks to the whole crew for running such a superb pool service firm.making it possible for their customers to properly maintain and enjoy their pools.

Had a great experience here today - my first visit. The people were amazing and extremely helpful in coaching me through some of the basics of hot tub chemical stuff, which can be daunting. They made it simple and provided me with everything I needed to keep that water crystal clear.

The team at Lakeshore Pools delivered on a significant pool renovation for me which involved all new equipment, lines, concrete pad, heater, custom concrete stairs and a new liner.

Robby came by to service my leaky hot tub, was afraid it was time to scrap it. Turns out was just a leaky drain plug and for a paltry amount was fixed. That's what I love about these guys they are forthright and honest. Customer satisfaction is their game, not upselling. Robby has been doing the maintenance for years. In fact, the pump was once making a horrendous sound, Robby said should really be replaced but he would try to lubricate and tweak it as a cheaper fix. Five years later it is still purring like a kitten.

Lakeshore Pools is the place to beat, our salt cell died and needed a replacement.online showed they had them in stock, however it seemed there was a shortage of them this summer so i called to confirm. Spoke to a very helpful gentleman who ensured it was there, we placed the order online for the part as discussed, they shipped the part to me and showed up as promised, 0 issues. This place is great.

Our Initial contact was by phone where Andre provided friendly and helpful advice regarding a salt chlorinator. Their store carried the Hayward 900 series salt chlorinator with a 940 cell that no other store from Windsor to Ottawa had in stock. They carried it due to the insight of the owner in stocking salt chlorinators and chlorine for the upcoming pandemic pool season when it looked like these items would be in short supply. Such wisdom! We ventured to the store all the way from Windsor and arrived just before closing and we met Andre and Peter. We were blown away by their knowledge, friendliness, and advice. They took the time to answer our questions regarding the chlorinator and other pool queries. I only wish we didn't live 350 km away from them to service and supply our pool. We highly recommend them based on our awesome experience. Seriously, if you haven't been to this pool store you need to go!

Our HotTub had been out of commission for the past 24 months! Based on the rate of water drain (due to leaks under our Tub) I was convinced we would be purchasing a new unit. However wth the assistance of both the service department (via phone calls) and the knowledge, patience and skills of their maintenance team, we now have a fully functioning HotTub.
In just 4 visits over 14 days the tub was hoisted on blocks, dryed, fully repaired and filled. The jets are as powerful as ever and the water level is consistent. Our maintenance tech Robbie was super helpful answering all our questions and providing tips to ensure our Tub runs for another 10 years like NEW!
Lakeshore P & T walked us throug ALL our options & the estimate cost for each option. With their help & honesty we now have a fully functional "like brand new" HotTub at 1/4 of the cost I beleived we would be dealing with!

Robert has taken care of my hot tub for me since 2018, until the recent sale of my home in 2021. Thanks to Robert, my family and I enjoyed the hot tub stress-free every winter. He truly is the hot tub whisperer. Not only has he serviced the hot tub, he has repaired it when needed, and educated me along the way. Upon sale of my home, my hot tub has gone to one of my dear friends. Robert showed up on one of the snowiest February days to drain and winterize the tub for me to make it easy to move. He was aware that I would no longer own a hot tub for the foreseeable future, and it did not make a difference in the diligence and thoughtfulness with which he approached the service. In fact, I called him rather last minute, and he accommodated me with great understanding. I recommend Robert to anyone who wants a competent, and honest professional to look after their hot tub. I am grateful for your assistance, Robert, and will be keeping your phone number for when I get my next hot tub.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Peter and had an absolutely AMAZING experience. He is super knowledgeable in both pool & spas, and was able to help me complete my order. He went above and beyond as I also asked about a very specific plastic piece on my pool and, although he didn't have it, he was able to provide all the information for me to find the piece (and get pricing for it). Huge help and would highly recommend this location to other people!
If you're in the Hamilton region like I am, give him a call and they will give you a quote for shipping. Mine was just $20 and that saved me 2+ hours of driving! Again, highly recommended!

Peter and Robbie really helped us out. When our hot tub arrived (purchased from a different retailer) the motor was a block of ice. Robbie came over on a Saturday afternoon within an hour of us calling to get us up and running. Awesome service.

I have a 17 year old Beachcomber hot tub that needed new jets, cover and step. In addition, there was a repair needed that was potentially prohibitively expensive. Amazingly, Lakeshore Pools was able to supply all the necessary parts (with a discount), and successfully performed the repair at no extra cost due to the excellent knowledge they have of their products. I now have a hot-tub working and looking like new, exceeding my expectations - a blessing for winter in lockdown! Peter and Robbie’s service and knowledge is unmatched in my opinion.

Robbie from Lakeshore Pools and Hot Tubs is the best! We have an older Coast Spa that we purchased refurbished. For six months, we were getting a FLO error + lack of heat, and no one could diagnose the problem. Robbie was the only one who understood why it's happening and how to fix it. Better than that, he had all the parts and tools with him! There was no waiting. We trusted him immediately, especially since he offered us a two-year warranty on the repairs, which were significant, so we gave him the green light to do the work. Within a couple of hours, the tub was working and has been working beautifully ever since (it's been over a month). On top of everything, the cost of the repairs was very reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend Lakeshore Pools and Hot Tubs to anyone, and Robbie for service calls. He's a gem! Thanks to him, we will be able to enjoy our hot tub without worries for many years.

Fantastic Service all around. From the initial call to the company, the professionalism was outstanding. I had a leak in my return line (jets) of my pool. Peter was outstanding in his explanation (of many things) and Reagan and team were superb in finding where the leak was, giving options for the repair, and fixing. Pricing was to my liking as well.

(I did have another company that came to my property prior to Lakeshore Pools and Hot Tubs to locate this issue. That other LARGE company was totally incorrect in their finding.)

Lakeshore Pool and Hot Tubs are now my pool company from this day forth. I highly recommend them.

The location is convenient, the product is as far as I know, good quality. However, one thing that rubbed me the wrong way was the response my wife and I received from the owner as we were trying to figure out expected repair costs in the future: “if you can afford a hot tub, you can afford the maintenance. ” As I cannot adequately describe the context of the remark in this review, the feeling it left us with was a question of whether this was poor judgement by the owner, but it was enough for us to purchase a hot tub from an alternate retailer who seemed more customer service oriented.

Hot tub repaired by Robert, he was punctual, resourceful and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure working with him, thanks for the great service.

Terrible service from the start. Called in to book appointment then to be put on hold and forgotten. Called back regardless then to speak with a guy then tells me he will have someone call me back, as he doesn't take appointments. Then never a call back so I called again spoke to a lady that had a guy call me back. Finally got an appointment booked for following week that nobody showed up or called me.
If this is the service expected no way. I called left message nobody still called me as of now. Avoid this place

WOW! I can't say enough about the service, professionalism and efficiency of this company. We had a new liner installed in 2019. There was a rare manufacturer defect on it. Lakeshore was 'on it'. They were out the next day! The liner was patched and ultimately replaced, with no hassle. This year, our pool opening was seamless. And when we had an issue with the heater, they had somebody out the next day. Amazing! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

What's not to love? It's local, they support Canadian made products, they have knowledgeable staff. Their pricing is reasonable. It's always a good experience.

Amazing crew. Hard working, knowledgeable, honest and always on time. We had a major problem with our our pool and hot tub with water leaking out of the hot tub. They fixed the problem and it’s been a breeze. They also maintain our pool and it has never been better. Highly recommend this place!

I requested a service to my dynasty swim spa and everything went so smoothly I couldn't believe. They fixed 2 leaks in 15 min. The price was also very affordable. Totally recommend them.

Yesterday, I had a hot tub technician (Robert), come over to fix ours. He was able to find what the problem was, right away & showed me. He was able to fix, very quickly! As he finished, he noticed another issue. Instead of ignoring it & waiting for it to become worse & have to call again for his services, he diagnosed & fixed it also!
Our hot tub is running great, now!

The massage pump on my Beachcomber had seized up and was in need of some serious help. It was either that, or buy new.enter Robbie. He was prompt in arrival (he had called ahead to give me the heads up on when to expect him), maintained social distancing all throughout the process and worked his magic to bring the massage pump back to life. Highly recommend Lakeshore Pools and Hot Tubs and Robbie as the go to technician.

I recently used lakeshore pools & hot tubs to fix my old clearwater resort series monaco model, they sent Robbie over to fix the extreme cracked manifolds that had cracked due to freezing, right off the bat i was impressed with him arriving much earlier than originally scheduled, while he was here i observed him working, he was fast, knowledgeable, & accurate every time, no job was to big for him to handle, after all the manifolds were replaced that needed to be he noticed a leak coming from the wet end of one of my motors, he than replaced the end while on site with-in what appeared to me to be just a few minutes, his rates were a fraction of what another company was charging me who previously was working on my tub, since the work has been completed i've had several questions for Robbie & he is always quick to reply & offers good sound advice, if you have a hot tub or pool that needs work done to it Robbie is the right person for the job, THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT SERVICE & GREAT RATES

We have been using Lakeshore Pools for over 10 years to open, maintain and close our pool, as well as service our Hot tub. The team is friendly and truly experts. It has been a pleasure and a relief to know they are a phone call away when we have had mechanical disfunction of older equipment that they are able to fix or replace promptly. Highly recommended.

A very argumentative and dishonest owner in the person of Peter. I paid for my pool liner to be changed, it was done last March 2018. Upon opening my pool in April of this year 2019, i noticed that the top of the liner had dissociated from the railing. I called Peter to inform him with the hope that he send someone to come and re-attach the liner properly as i believed it was not properly fitted when it was installed. Peter was livid that they do not guarantee their workmanship but only the liner. That i should have called him in March 2019 to come and fix it as they would have done that as a favor to me. I informed Peter, that due to the weather i only open my pool in March and it shouldn't be considered a favor to be but an expectation. Don't get me wrong this company has some good folks working for them such as Reagan the actual technician who has done work at my pool in the past. Unfortunately the manager is dishonest, argumentative and doesn't provide accurate information when selling his product. He tried to find an excuse that i should have changed the railing part of the pool tool that that situation shouldn't have happened. When i asked Peter why he hadn't informed me that the final product might have issues if i didn't change the railing he said well i wouldn't have agreed to spend an addition $1500 to change the railing so he didn't say anything (So misguided information to make a sale). I brought another pool company to come and have a look and tell me what they thing and they said the railing is good but the liner was not tucked into the railing part well and that it should be a small job for the company that installed it to address but Peter wants me to pay him to correct a job that was not well done in the first place. While i intend to take the necessary small courts legal measures and file a complaint against consumer services, i thought i share my experience with other customers so they know what to expect.
I will not be recommending this company to anyone

After describing my situation they sent a repair guy who fixed the problem and got us up and running.
They were straightforward, honest, and effective.
Was a pleasure to do business with them.
