I will never deal with this bank. Horrible communication. Unprofessional! Took hours and days to get a response. Crystal and the general manager Aimee need to learn a few things on how to get work done! I don’t care if you have a day off. Do your due diligence! When you have a new potential customer with a 790 credit score, income of over 210k and a down payment of 20% on a 460k home, I’d expect a bit more hustle from this bank! I was spoken to with disrespect in the tone when Aimee spoke to me over the phone. She was very condescending and told me to be patient which I thought was disrespectful. Do not tell people to do something. She said it in a rude way and sounded very frustrated over the phone since I wanted answers and didn’t get any. It’s not my fault you have incompetent workers. She then emailed me and said I wasn’t approved when months prior I was approved by another bank with flying colours. Only problem was, our offer on the house in May was declined and we were left with a preapproval that we didn’t use. It expired after 90 days. The reason why I tried mainstreet credit union was because my broker was on vacation at the time and my wife and I were really tight on time and figured we’d try mainstreet since it was highly recommended. Just to let you know, my wife and I just got approved for the loan at another bank without no issues. Our closing date is October 26th. We are so glad we did not go with mainstreet. Everything happens for a reason! It’s pathetic how some people have a job approving mortgage applications when they can’t even do something simple as in proper and prompt communication with people. Bottom line, it’s YOUR LOSS! Have a great day!

Such a great credit union to work with for mortgages, both small and large!

Always love working with financial advisors& tellers. They are so very helpful. They only down side and it one that I find quite difficult. If you cannot make it there during business hours you cannot do bank transactions as the atm is Now locked after bank hours. This makes the line ups difficult at ATM and within bank. If there was away to be able to access the ATM after hours as there is only one ATM for this credit union leaving you with extra service charges from their institution and that of other institutional ATM if you must access $ through at a different ATM. That is sad considering many people do work shift work and are not able access even the ATM during their hours of availability.

Always enjoy my experience at Mainstreet Credit Union! Employees make you feel like a person and not just a number. Quick and friendly customer service. I’m a customer for life!
