Mayfair Clubs - Lakeshore

We're a family of four; two kids under five and it has been a wonderful experience. The pool's temperature is on the warmer side which is great for little kids and the instructors know how to motivate the little ones and not be scared of the water. The swimming classes and camps are very good (bit pricey but hey it's Toronto). The pool is only 15 or 20mts.and it's hot, so not great for serious swimmers. The kids space was just renovated and has lots of entertainment to offer. We usually drop off our kids at the kids space for 1.5 hrs so we can workout and that works great for us. The staff is very kind to our kids which is all that matters. The food is OK, the menu is typical of a club: breakfast, sandwiches, soups, salads, entrees, etc, let's say it's convenient. We don't use tennis or squash so can't comment on that but for a family with little kids it has all we need.

I got a massage session here, it was superb, Droughan is amazing, definitely one of the best RMTs in the city, and the receptionist was super helpful as well. I will be going there again for sure.

Held my child’s birthday pool party at this facility. Room + pool was $400 and Food for 20 children were $450. The food was restaurant quality. There was no one to escalate concerns to except for the Restaurant Manager, who I found condescending and impertinent. Also, since he did not have anything to do with the birthday party, there really was no one around to assist. We were not informed of the exact pool time availability as such, we only were left with 45 minutes of our hour allotted time. We’re dumped into the dismal child care space. There were no chairs or tables set up in the room and was filled with toys for infants and toddlers. Appreciated the safe-conscious lifeguards. Appreciated Winnie who took our food orders. Appreciated the young ones that assisted us. We met with the membership manager a couple of weeks before and the birthday party was supposed to be my basis to enroll. Based on my experience, we decided not to. All in all, the kids had fun and that’s all that matters

I was a long time member at Mayfair Parkway, then at Lakeshore when it first opened.
Subsequently I left the club because I stopped playing tennis.

Recently I reconnected with Lakeshore for a pickleball (PB) clinic.
Having taken up PB only 2 years ago, I have taken many lessons at different locations.

The PB clinic taught by Sandra Barrett is the best learning experience for me.
Sandra not only taught us techniques but also strategies and shot selection.
Her drills are FUN and a very effective way to help us apply what we are being taught.

Granted everyone learns differently and every pro has his/her approach.
Speaking for myself, this was a tremendously enjoyable and stimulating experience.

Extremely well equipped and maintained facilities. Personal attention abound. One of my favorite places in the city.

We have loved the multi-sports camp for our 4 year old, and just wanted to thank the wonderful admin team and the camp Counsellor’s for their great work. As a forever educator at heart, I love seeing excellent programs for kids. I taught our son to swim at the age of three and he loves it, so having the opportunity to swim and learn a new sport like Tennis, all in one day is excellent fun and great for his development. He also comes home, ready to pass out- you need to be paid extra for this ;-). Big shout out to Magnus Peterson, for making Christian Bailey-Bardi feel so welcomed! I see your nature rapport with kids, and glad you are with the team. See you next year, for sure!

Just know that if you plan on leaving your children there while you work out, the woman who runs Child Space is one of the best I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her name is Kim, and she is well loved and respected by the parents and children there.

Great environment, everything is super clean and they have implemented safety protocols including a temperature check at the door.

Great facility with a multi purpose use, the staff are extremely friendly. Would highly recommend to the city tennis play and gym goer!

A big thank you to the Mayfair Lakeshore for their strike camp. The kids had the best time and are asking to go back. The staff was incredible and professional making parents life in this situation quite accommodating. Thank you for helping all families through this political time. We will be back

One shop stop. Has everything you need. I highly recommend my personal trainer Jeff MacCheyne who is an experienced master trainer. I get my Physio done there as well through Daniel.one of the best in the City. The Salon is terrific you'll feel right at home. I used to drive downtown to get my haircut and 4 hours later plus parking would get home a $100 lighter. See Francis there at the Salon.she's terrific. Tennis, Squash a pool, lots of parking, restaurant, What more could you ask for!

Mayfair Clubs is meticulously and expertly cared for under the guidance of club manager Magda Diaz. In the spirit of cooperation, friendly club members enjoy a variety of competitive tennis activities. Everyone is treated with genuine welcoming respect regardless of their level of ability.

Nice saltwater pool and of course exceptional tennis courts. Tasty food in the restaurant, especially the pad thai. Locker rooms could be cleaner.

I love this club but the swimming pool could be bigger. Very pricey but worth it if you want to join a Gym with a great community surrounding it

Famous squash venue with a lot of history of hosting many Canadian and Ontario Championships. The change rooms are nice and restaurant is pretty good. Nothing like having some beers after a tough match. The seating area is great for watching high level squash and there are many programs for juniors. Traffic to this location can be rough so plan extra time.

It's clean and very well equipped but just way too expensive. Pretty much all of the equipment looks brand new which is great. But, it looks new because there's hardly anyone there using it.

A longtime member I am a fan of the Mayfair for those who regularly workout / exercise. The parking alone rationalizes the fees. While I can take issue with some interior design choices, the actual services provided (gym, spa, spin/yoga/fitness rooms, tennis, pool, squash, etc.) far out weigh the negatives e.g. The chilly reception / restaurant ambience and the slightly industrial locker room.

I have been a member here for 4 years now, and while some of the coaches are fantastic, most are just alright.

James Salmon is an exceptional coach who truly cares not just about the technique of his pupils, but also how they are feeling, like on a day-to-day basis. He takes the time to build a good relationship between himself and his pupils. In my opinion, he is the best tennis coach I have ever met.

Excellent downtown fitness club. Minutes from the Toronto core. 8 tennis courts and a multitude of squash courts compliment the pool and world class fitness centre. Spe iallizex staff on site to help with every aspe t of your fitness schedule. Social programs like bridge, euchre, painting, to round out your experience.

The cost is not worth the decaying facility. Only professionalism I saw here were from the tour guides and secretary.

It doesn't look good when the waiters are yelling at each other infront of customers, when buckets are collecting rain water from the roof leaks indoors, when my daughter made friends with the club's mouse, when lights are flickering like its some sort of intentional halloween decor!

I do hope that this place does well in the future.
