The worst GYM you can sign up for. No air conditioning, Membership staff is rude and arrogant and once you register you can not cancel your membership they will email you that your membership is cancelled and will still charge your credit card on file. Please be cautious.

Love the swimming facilities and my child loves his swim instructor. In his words they are way way more fun than at any other swim school we have been to, and he loves going each week.

My first visit here was for a live stage show. All the staff seemed on the ball, ushers got folks to line up and quickly scanned everyone's tickets. 5 stars alone for the venues choice of seating for their theatre, very comfortable. Spacious as well, didn't feel cramped at all while using the arm rests. Acoustically, this theatre packs a major punch for such a cozy space. Even though I was in the very back row, I could feel every musical vibration. That's not to say that it was too loud, because it wasn't, but the design of the room really lends itself to live music. I'd get immediate goosebumps as soon as the music would start; the entire room rumbled like the takeoff sequence of a major transatlantic airliner. Very awesome, funky time, hope to get to see more shows in this space.

I love the JCC. They have great staff, a beautiful salt water pool, clean changerooms and an awesome variety of classes to choose from. I like the central location too. I have been a member for years and never had a negative experience with staff or with other gym members. 5/5

I love the JCC. Its warm and friendly and reopening after lockdown took all measures to help me feel safe in returning. But the real reason I am so loyal are my fellow users. I always see someone I know at least a little and the atmosphere in the classes and change room is so friendly and inclusive.

I’ve been emailing various employees to get clarification on their accessibility to the theatre, 2 weeks of emails and numerous phone calls I gave up, if management is this oblivious then it starts from the top.

We had many fun times here in the 90s. We used the old weight room and fitness center. Alas, how things do change.

I've been bringing my children to the Afterschool program for years, I can fully vouch for its educational and safe environment. My children loved all the different activities from cooking to sports and in particular the Cartooning club when it was first started. Overall a fantastic program that I hope will resume again in the summer, though I have noticed that the snacks are hit and miss.

Honestly the best club/gym I've ever been a member of, the facilities and staff are amazing and its never too crowded.

A very nice facility to swim and hit the gym. The “heated pool” is rather cold though. I’ll definitely come back.

Can't go wrong with Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre. Superb facilities kept very clean, and not a lot of foot traffic making it very appealing to new guests. Easy to recommend this place.

Friendly staff, great facilities, good prices for what you get, great location.
One of the best places in Toronto to take care of your health and body. I recommend it 100%

Awful experience with swim lessons. Incompetent teacher who just stood there looking scared while no one helped her. Took over a week to get an email from aquatics supervisor who denied refund or new class. Take your kids elsewhere.

Very poor experience.
Rude & slow reception stuff - I lost a couple jewellery items in the pool and wasn’t allowed to look at the lost & found, long wait to get my towels (with such an expensive towel service) and was scolded for helping myself to one.
Old, mushy facility, not worth half the price they’re charging.

Member for over 1 year with my family. During that time, we paid for 3 premium programs, all of which were cancelled <2 days prior to the start date. Our daughter registered for her National Lifesaving Program twice, the second time she came back early from a trip to attend only to find out the night before that it would not happen. My daughter then quit the club as she was distressed by the poor program management. My wife called to let them know what problems it created and so they could put in place measures to limit issues for future programs. The staff took it as a personal affront telling my wife she was losing her membership. Yes they were kicking her out. She decided that she did not want to argue the point as who would want that kind of aggravation. Ironically, membership called a few days afterward and let us know the person had been fired and to ask her back. Again why would anyone need that. We had not said anything to senior staff so obviously there were other issues. I went in and spoke to membership to be sure she got all her money back from that point. The new staff was somewhat apologetic, if only to retain her fees. I was told the individual had worked there for >2 years. At this point, one can see pervasive poor management. I stayed on for several months as I had a personal trainer, who is excellent (and I had prepaid for a number of sessions). I emailed the cancellation expecting to give a month notice. However, they kept taking out our money for an extra 2 months. When I inquired I was told I would only get 1 month back despite their website saying, "we require one additional full payment, to be processed AFTER submitting this form". My suggestion is to watch out. You won't be getting lemonade from this lemon until they the systemic issues.

The salt water pool is amazing. It's great to not smell like chlorine after a swim. The location is good too.

My experience with JCC was a bit disappointing. First I enrolled with them thinking that the swimming pool was exclusively salted but later on they told me that they still add chlorine due to the regulation in Ontario. Then I ran into issues getting the proper format for my membership bills that I wanted to submit to my insurance for reimbursement (staff was not helpful at all - little to no response to emails, and responses were not solving the issue). Last issue I had with them was regarding the cancellation of the membership, I requested it 3 days before the due date instead of 5. I had to pay a full month ($156 for my partner and I) for nothing. Well, good luck!

I take my son here for swimming lessons and they use non chlorinated water. The people working here are very friendly and they offer a lot of different class options. Highly recommend this community centre.

I strongly recommend this place to those who attend group classes. Yoga and pilates are amazing! Gravity classes are beyond my words. Very cool! Staff is helpful and attentive. I took several sessions with a private instructor, Sophie. Enjoyed it a lot. Very professional and unusual. The only thing that annoyed me that there are only three elliptical machines in the gym and sometimes people simply ask you to stop your workout, because they had booked it before. Anyways, the facility is great, clean and convinient.

Had to cancel membership, along with my partner.

Two totally inappropriate interactions with senior members. And when told, managers did nothing of consequence to avoid it happening again.

Plus there are moths in the change rooms? So, try if you must? Better check out UofT facilites for sure first.

Been going here for 3 months and I absolutely love it. Staff is friendly and pleasant, clients clean up after themselves, personal trainers respect that they don't own the gym, and it's never extremely busy (you can almost always use what you want). Happily for me it has 3 power racks for squats/etc, and an area for olympic lifting. Also excellent if you're trying to find a pool in the city at a decent price. Also has an small indoor track + large gymnasium.

So much to love about this place.my whole family belongs here and there is so much for all of us to do! My husband plays rec floor hockey and basketball, i take aquafit and work out on the machines and indoor running track, my son takes swimming lessons, sportball and children's martial arts.plus - right at the corner of spadina and bloor? It doesn't get more convenient than that in toronto!

A great community centre and gym in the heart of the Annex. Friendly staff, and a fun family atmosphere.
