THIS was my favourite gym. If you pay close attention, almost all the 1 star ratings are just members who relied on the daycare option. However, there are many daycares available locally besides the one at their GYM. It radiates emotional instead of logical review. As for my experience, this gym is the CLEANEST gym of all time, which I take a long way. It also has quality staff which never fails to smile and make you feel present. The quality of the people you meet is also top notch. The machinery and access to steam room and other amenities was nothing short of impressive. The general manager works so hard and I mean you will see this person over 12 hours at a time many times assuring the gym is functioning properly. Nothing but respect to all the staff, they work so hard. All the negativity is because parents did not want to pay a new fee for another daycare. It is unfortunate I have to leave, and I hope to be able to rejoin sometime in the future if I am still around. I have been to all local gyms, GoodLife service does not come near Movati’s. Zero complaints. I trust not only the staff but also the members. There is nothing like MOVATIVATION!

Movati is always very clean. It has everything you could ask for in a gym. The staff are very friendly and it is an all around absolutely amazing gym.

I've been a member at Movati for over a year now, and I've encountered several issues since day one. When I initially signed up, they assured me I could grant gym access to someone else for two weeks annually. However, when I tried to utilize this benefit, they informed me it was exclusive to premium members, contradicting what was promised during signup.

Moreover, Movati abruptly terminated their daycare service without any notice, and they also discontinued family swim sessions. These actions have left me deeply disappointed and increasingly convinced that this gym operates in a misleading manner. It's disheartening to experience such inconsistencies and abrupt changes in services without adequate communication.

The staff, including the general manager, are incredibly impolite, unprofessional, and ignorant. It's truly mind-boggling. They have numerous illegal business practices, such as sudden price increases, hidden fees, conflicting information, and the cancellation of services (e.g, the children's playroom) without notice. Save your money and stay away of this horrible establishment. Even Goodlife has better reviews!

Great gym, friendly atmosphere and super friendly crowd. Price is abit steep for the options they provide if you didn’t want to do the classes but not horrible

Worse gym ever, I wish I can give them minus 5 stars option.
I was a member and then I added someone that he is under age under my account, Movati was taking the fee out of my bank account. After one year his contract was done and we went together and we sign on their system that he will no longer go to the gym after that. At the beginning things work perfectly and then all the sudden after few months they send the teenager a bill for more than 300$.
When we went to see what’s going on they said that the membership was not canceled and they only removed my bank information but they kept charging someone that he is 16 of age without any bank info for him.we ask the gym how that happened and of course cuz they don’t wanna take responsibility they lied and said that we didn’t end up the membership and automatically they transfer it under the teenage person…
What’s funny is that they transfer him to the collection agency and now we have to hire and lawyer and send them to court for them running someone under age credit…
Please be careful they are scammer…. Other gyms are way better than this one….

We are very pleased with the gym, overall. I really enjoy the classes and the "women's only" area, and my partner likes the hot yoga and extra amenities, like the sauna and hot tub. They could stand to utilize the space a bit better in the main gym area, and I've had some scheduling issues with the trainer sessions. But, we both think it's worth the price for the beautiful facility and high quality classes included.

I always find it to be clean, the staff are friendly, and the overall atmosphere is very welcoming.

The facility has a ton to offer and seems to prove its price tag. However, I still find the pricing steep for casual fitness enthusiasts. Like most "big" gyms in windsor, there are still some things to be desired. It is a welcoming environment. I was hoping the pricing would be as well.

This gym is amazing. Modern,
state of the art. My special nephew works here and loves it. Any employer who treats staff so well, no doubt treats customers even better.

Saturday morning 8: 00am, a nice amount of people. I was able to train without having to wait around for equipment to be available. Really nice atmosphere.

It's the cleanest gym I've ever been to. I have been here for about a month and so far I usually have lots of space in the pool (going early afternoon though). The personal training manager, Mitch, is very nice and informative. Also, the operations manager once got up from his work to show me a machine when I had a question. It's worth the price, for sure.

I had a employee lock my keys in my locker forcing me to get it cut and I had to buy a new lock, along with having $100+ worth of stuff stolen which employees refuse to do anything about. Personal trainer designs a program completely unrelated to the specific goal which I asked for and refuses to let me cancel the contract.

Great gym but for $35 bi weekly to not be open 24/7 is insane. Even fit 4 less is open 24 hours and their membership is less money a month then I pay in 2 weeks here. Will be switching once my contract is up

I want to join this gym but weekend timings are very stupid.thats the only reason m not joining otherwise its a really good gym.

Great gym and equipment. Downside is they're very firm and difficult with memeberships. I would say they need better customer service.

Clean and great equipment. Way to small. Overcrowded. Pray you dont get sick or inured out of the gym.at work or something. They are relentless to not let you out! Even seeing doctor for note they are against recognizing it and will take more and more money if you let them. Management tried their best but rules state we will take more money. Even after it was settled by a kind manager wait for it. 20 days later they took another $20.greedy money hungry. My doctor felt bad and E mailed a letter for free. Movati just wanted more money. When you are going through personal health problems they will try their hardest to cause more grief. Quite sickening.
At the same time I went to another local gym to do shoulders as movati shoulder stuff sucks. The Gym said " no note needed we are sorry your not well. Come see us if you recover" What a difference.

Having an evaluation session with Mohammad El-nassar went way above my expectations! Very knowledgeable trainer who worked with me to establish clear goals and areas of improvement. Great facility overall with lots to do, highly recommended.

Was visiting Windsor for three weeks and was introduced to this amazing fitness facility by a friend. What an incredible experience, beginning with the service received from the manager, Karin DiCarlo, as well as all the client-service intersection points with her super team. Everyone was gracious, helpful and you can see she is building an incredible culture there, focused on fitness and fun, personalized engagement.

Tried a few different classes, as well as the main gym area. There is a fantastic variety of different classes available. I haven’t seen this anywhere, locally or back in Toronto. I took advantage of a few spin sessions and the bungee class is not to be missed - thank you Danielle for bringing the fun.

Looking forward to taking advantage of this incredible place the next time I am in town. Wishing this business much success!

Amazing gym lots of equipment covid-friendly (very clean) highly recommended. Staff is very positive with a lot of motivation.

I arrived for my tour appointment ready to join but the guide was so unknowledgeable that I changed my mind. Didn’t know much about classes or equipment and couldn’t give me any information about personal training. The tour did not inspire trust that I would get the instruction I’m looking for from the staff there. Very disappointed.

Best gym in windsor, the staff is super friendly, gym itself, changing rooms, washrooms are all very clean. Movati makes you feel welcome and part of the gym family. I like the feel flow of the gym to as for people thinking its to pricey you get what you pay for, your mental well-being deserves it

They do a good job navigating COVID protocols and the staff were continuously cleaning. Every other machine blocked for distancing however it was oddly done, blocking unique machines at end of row (main cardio area). Also, some machines in womans area weren't working.should have blocked those and free others. Overall good atmosphere.

Movati gym is enforcing vaccine passports. This is the management of the gyms decision. It is not legislation like the owner likes to state as I read on a previous review. It's absolutely disgusting that a gym would not even read the governments suggestion before discriminating against paying customers. What they have done is illegal they don't have the right to ask anyone's private medical information.

Everything here is higher quality, you're well taken care of if you need anything. Overall very good atmosphere.

Cancelled my membership last week at the Windsor club. I will not support a business that runs on discriminatory business practices. I had one last payment owing and the snotty supervisor told me I have to pay it or be sent to collections after writing my reason for cancelling incorrectly. I hope you can keep the lights on with that last payment, I won't be rejoining or referring anyone again.

Amazing and completely worth the price. I'm not made of money, but this year I made myself and my health a priority, and I still find this place to be worth the cost. They have a ton of classes, which admittedly at the moment are more difficult to get into due to class size restrictions, that are going on at all different times of day so I don't really have to worry about whether or not there'll be a class at the time I want to go! Everything is clean and in perfect working order, granted it's brand new so it should be, haha! I found the staff to be extremely nice and helpful. The women's only section is gigantic and has everything I need right there, so I never have to go to the co-ed for a piece of equipment not found in the ladie's gym.

Honestly, can't rave enough about the place.

They made me wait over a half of an hour to cancel with them for absolutely no reason other than to inconvenience me.some of their employees simply love to inconvenience you any way possible (no bags, constantly harassing you about your info when you’ve given it to them several times, etc etc). They also neglected to tell me they were reopening, and i had to find out through other members that they were reopening (five days late, to boot). I can’t believe they charge full price when you can’t use most of the amenities either — but brutal service, too? Go anywhere else.

They were supposed to open on April 2020.they re-opened 24 August 2020 due to Covid-19 without any prior notice and they charged all enrolled people. Now Iam trying to cancel this membership and nobody is picking up the phone or answering my emails. Are these people thieves? They can't force me to work out with mask on! And they can't just take payments without my consent.

Amazing facility! I have been working out 32 years and have trained at many gyms and this is my favourite!

I do not recommend this gym to anyone the employees are constantly harassing members about wearing a mask & they constantly watch everything you do it's annoying the saunas are closed which is why I wanted to join I cant have my gym bag with me which I really need during my workout the restrictions are ruining this gym and customer service is worst to none.

Gym is nice yes but not enough equipments for everybody to use. There is an actual line to use certain machines

Staff is very helpful and friendly. It’s a little tight around the free weights area and could use some more benches. Other than that, it’s very clean and well cared for.

I enjoy the gym a lot for my accessory work, the unlimited training time is also great but my biggest pet peeve currently is the fact you can't bring even a small stringer bag to hold your equipment such as a belt, wraps, wrist wraps, sleeves etc. I've been told it's apparently due to a tripping hazard or theft of their equipment. I understand the tripping hazard but during these times everyone should be staying 6 feet away from eachother so no one should be tripping on any bags. Also as for the stealing maybe implement the use of clear bags, or bag checks once leaving the facility. If this was sorted out the gym would be excellent. Thank you.

Great gym, it has amazing amenities, such as a sauna steam room etc, although some are closed due to covid.
I rate a 3 star review due to their sudden no gym bag rule. I find it very strange that they give you a complementary gym bag upon signing up, and unexpectedly create a rule to prohibit them from all areas but the change rooms. This rule is not listed in the agreement terms. The prohibition is enforced not due to covid, cleanliness, or hygiene issues. I can regognize if it is due to health and hygiene reasons, such as not being able to sanitize the bag. However the rule is being enforced due to a “ tripping hazard” when people are supposed to be 6ft away, and theft.
Why not provide a clear plastic draw string Movati bag if theft is an issue? This type of bag can also be sanitized on the out side. I find cleanliness will deteriorate as people, such as myself who uses bands, lifting belts wraps and other exercise tools, and masks (as they are optional when on equipment or stationary) will be left sporadically around the gym, on other equipment and the floor, not contained. Great move for hygiene during Covid Movati. The contradictory concept of providing a gym bag with the membership to be told we can not use it is unusual and misleading. I would like to highlight that this rule is only enforced at the Windsor location, our home gym. Although the fees we pay to have cross member ships to other locations, such as Guelph and kingsville, where this regulation is not implemented. Movati, I hope you find a solution to these issues, as members are likely to leave or not join due to the lack of consistency, illogical rules, and lackadaisical approach to hygiene.

Impossible to contact if you want to cancel. A ton of hidden fees. Don't respond to emails. Over priced.

Very racist company, I applied for many positions and was granted an interview but instead they decided to choose white individuals. I was very disrespected on the phone when I called for a follow up and when I applied I was one of the best candidates with lots of availability and lots of experience but instead they decided to choose white individuals who don’t suit the role. As well, I noticed they choose favourites as well because when I was in the job fair I had to wait 3 hours for an interview but a girl I noticed who I knew, walked in and was granted an interview right away and then left while I had to wait just like everyone else. Guess what, she got the job and she does not even fit the role. She has no experience nor anything related to fitness. Instead this company decides to choose white individuals.do not sign up here very disappointed
