Very friendly and well arranged. I found the staff very helpful with anything I needed in the fish department.

Called there on Wed 23 to make appointment to get my bird wings trim. I left my name and number but never got a call back over a week ago.

Very clean and organized, staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. One of the gentlemen at front of store was able to inform me about snake and reptile frozen mouse and rat sizes. Animals were also in fantastic sized enclosures that were clean and taken care of. There are thermometers and hygrometers on just about every enclosure, and the fish tanks are clean, appropriately sized and maintained well. There is even a saltwater fish tank, which had a super cool filter and sump system (the water flowed in the CENTRE of the tank, which is awesome). Loved it.

This store is great. You can tell their staff care a good deal. Great layout and I thought the prices were fair.

Adopted a new bearded dragon from someone that needed to rehome. Needed a ton of stuff and had questions as the new enclosures are going to be bioactive. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely continue to support them. Awesome pet store with amazing staff.

I would love to support this store but unfortunately I can’t due to the lack of proper animal care and how they send these pets into there homes. From wire wheels that can tear off little hamster legs and cause deadly bubble foot (on display and for sale) and the little cages they sell that don’t even meet the basic requirements (some no more than 12 inches wide). It’s just sad. Same goes for the fish (especially the bettas) the standards are low… not uncommon to see animals with just the bare minimum and in very sad looking condition. I hope they can update there policy’s and think about the animals welfare (in and when they are sent home) more in the future. Please do better.

It's absolutely astonishing how they would leave dead fish in their tanks.
Not only that the dead fish are getting eaten by the live ones, that leaves me to wonder if the fish are under fed that's why they are dying. None then less I wouldn't recommend this place if you are interested in pet fish.

Abysmal treatment of a bunny in their store, and refuse to seek vet treatment. Do not know proper bunny diet requirements, so why trust your pet with them? They disabled instagram soon after people raised this issue. They don’t care for pets, only money.

Wonderful place to shop! You can always count on them to have high quality food in stock. The staff are very knowledgeable if you need recommendations. I’ve shopped here for years and have sought advice from their fish and reptile departments. They know their stuff! While I usually don’t condone purchasing from pet stores, Pet Culture takes wonderful care of their animals, and I bought a beautiful white ball python from them 6 years ago. He was incredibly healthy then, and he’s still thriving now. I would highly recommend Pet Culture to all the animal lovers I know!

They don't provide vet care to their sick and dying pets. Very very sad. I will never support this establishment. Source your pets from a rescue instead.

I had such a great experience here! We came in looking for a tank but ending up cuddling the cutiest bunny ever!
I could see a real connection with the workers and the animals in their care.
The young attendant was telling us about momma and her babies and how she I'd trying to handle them, while respecting mommas boundaries.
It's a great environment to adopt a unique pet from!

This is my favourite pet store in Guelph. Amply covers the traditional pet market needs in spades given their large store, but is also excellent for slightly more exotic options. It is noteworthy that they carry a reasonable selection catering to the reptile, invert, avian and more exotic fish needs which makes it stand out in my mind as the majority of pet stores just service the lowest common denominator, and even if they do carry some reptiles there tends to not be much variety in terms of substrates and feeder options. PetCulture definitely rises above in that respect.

They the best (local) option for live feeders, in my experience, as they stock the usual crickets, but also mealworms and fruit fly cultures and this variety is critical to many keepers; I have seen waxworms and black soldier fly larva as well but I cannot comment on how regularly they have carry such items as I don't buy them regularly.

I find the staff knowledgeable and customer service here is outstanding. Regardless of your pet needs, I'd argue PetCulture is at least worth a look as their philosophy and stock really does stand out from the competition here in Guelph. Definitely not your average pet store.

I cannot rave enough about the fish department here. The employee went above and beyond. I asked some detailed questions about snails and plant life for my aquarium and was met with patience and knowledge. As a newbie in the world of fish, I really appreciate the time that was spent informing me. I will go here for any of my aquarium needs, without question.

Friendly staff and a nice selection of tropical fish. The aquarium department offers product not found at the chain stores, and staff are open to ordering in if they don't have what you need on the shelf or in a tank.

I love this place! They offer nail trimming by appointment for all kinds of animals. I have a rabbit and I'm very happy with how he's been treated, it's safe, effective, and efficient. I also have a leopard gecko and this is the best place in Guelph I've been able to find to buy meal worms. At pet smart they're incredibly expensive in comparison. You can also have them order in 1000 packs for you if you keep a feeder container at home and it's even cheaper. They're knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful 1000/10 recommend.
