Had a grooming appointment today for my dog and when I arrived there, I was met with the most ridiculous employee. You sit there and spend 15 min ringing the door bell to get access, and yet no one answers. When this dullard of a human answered, she hit us with "You are late and your appointment was cancelled. It's beyond our grace period" - Sorry where does it state this grace period? Also if you ANSWERED THE DOOR, I wouldn't have been late. Manager here needs to do something, we have made the mission to Vaughan for grooming, however, if this is the quality of staff you have, then I have 0 desire to give you any more business and I will be emailing your head office.

I’ve been to this location a handful of times, mostly to shop for my pup and few times to get him groomed. The first couple times he was groomed, everything was ok, he seemed normal and happy coming home but the last home, he had cuts on his inner legs and he was extremely anxious and dehydrated when I picked him up. That was the last home I took him there to get groomed and have done found a gentler groomer whom my dog absolutely adores.

Grooming aside, this store is always well stocked and majority of the employees are pleasant and knowledgeable. I recently took my dog back there to buy some treats for the first time in a long time and he really enjoyed himself.

Good selection, friendly staff. Sometimes their advice isn't exactly the best, but it's important to remember that every pet is different and no one can predict how a given animal will react.

Prompt and efficient at this location. Always find an appointment that suits me. Good job and friendly towards my pet. Thanks Grace and other ladies.

Staff is not really around if you need help. Not sure what is happening with blue buffalo dog food but that might not be their fault. I have now been there two times in two weeks and couldn’t get the food we needed. I might have to try to find a new food or new location.

Petsmart is starting to scam customers. I can understand price increases, but letting Amazon / Walmart under cut you is disappointing.

$93 for a 34lb Proplan bag online, Amazon and Walmart selling for $80.

They shaved our double coated dog without us knowing and now her coat is completely destroyed and will not be the same again.

Very disappointed after taking my dog to get groomed at this location. She had one ear longer than the other. Her nails weren't filed, and were uneven. The hair on her legs and face were so choppy and uneven. She was sick for 2 days after her grooming. I was told they don't give anything to the dogs, but it left me wondering because she was sick to her stomach. Will never take my dog back to this location again. If I could give a "no star" rating, I would.

If I could give this petsmart grooming salon a negative score I would. I took my dog for grooming and he was going to a different petsmart location for the last 9 years on a monthly basis but due to them doing some renovations they were closed for a few months.

I booked him at the Woodbridge location and from the moment I met the groomer she had an issue with my dog saying oh he’s too excited and this and that but she still took him in for the appointment. After the appointment she put a message on his file that he is unfit for pet smart at all locations and now I am unable to take my dog to even my local petsmart because of the msg this groomer put on file.

When I called them back and spoke to the manager instead of trying to be helpful after explaining my situation and acknowledging that her groomer was incompetent and shouldn’t have taken my dog in the first place she says it’s my dogs fault even though he’s been going to petsmart for 9 years now.

If you have a dog who’s a little excited please don’t ever take them here because all these groomers at this location don’t know how to handle an animal who’s excited and have incompetent untrained staff.

Be very mindful bringing your dog here for grooming. We have been taking our dog here pretty much her whole life, she’s 11 now. I don’t know what’s happened in the last year or so. But two out of the three times we have brought our dog here this year she has come back with some form of injury.

The first time was a limp of her back leg. This time she has an ulcer on her cornea caused by some form of cut or abrasion. We noticed something wrong with her eye the same day after her grooming. Usually grooming takes 3 hours yet this time we got a call just around an hour after dropping her off that groomer was finished. Our dog isn’t small, she is 70 lbs, she has poodle fur and her fur was quite long; we were very shocked that she was “finished”.

When she got home we noticed she was closing her eye a lot and, what we’ve now learned is her third eyelid, was covering her eye. We didn’t think much of it at first, but when we started noticing all the discharge from the eye, her uncharacteristic sleepiness, and her push for more rubs we started to get concerned.

After a vet visit, we were told that she has an ulcer in her cornea, meaning a cut or abrasion to her cornea. After 4 days of medication there has been no improvement. She now needs more antibiotics, eye drops and a serum. All because someone decided they were going to cut corners and apparently our dog’s eye. Not. Impressed.

The store app and website do not function nor meet the customer demand. This store is always out of stock on products.

I had no issues with the petsmart here until my recent experience at the grooming salon. An employee by the name of MaryBeth refused to listen when I brought in my dog for his bath. My dog does not like the leash that they use while washing and gets anxious and I had requested to just take in my leash so my dog can be at ease. For no reason at all, this lady started yelling, creating a scene in-front of other employees and refused to take my dog in for his appointment. It was very rude and unprofessional and I hope someone can check the store cameras to see how she’s acting with other customers in the store. I will not be coming back here for grooming and would be advising other pet owners to do the same.

Very helpful in finding a new carrier for my rat, knowledge about small animals and their care.

I get all my pet products here, we have cats, reptiles, and rodents!

It's always fun to bring my babies into the store with me.

The team is helpful. It's nice I can check online for products before going in to see if they're in stock. I like they also carry natural dog treats and foods. The deals are cool, too! I've ordered online and received my order in multiple boxes. It was bizarre they used huge boxes for little things! But at least the boxes can be reused/recycled.

We took our dog here for his trimming, and they were not welcoming at all. The staff talked to us and made us feel like we were incompetent pet caretakers. We were standing there to confirm our appointment and the team talk to people who came after us first. They choose which dogs to take and refused ours as he was a little older and only had home trimming done before. We were okay that they refused him but the way they talked to us and acted made us feel unwelcome. I am so discouraged that they did not even try to get to know our dog properly. After reading the reviews here I know better now. Please do not take your dog here to groom as they are highly selective and will not take dogs that they do not like.

I had to book a grooming appointment here because our usual grooming place was backed up. Should've read the reviews beforehand. Since I was in a rush, I didn't actually realize how bad of a job they did once I got back home. My poor Rosie came back looking choppy. Her haircut was so uneven and she had random chunks of hair that were longer than the rest of her body. She also has a big patch on her chest that was completely shaven down to her skin. Not sure why? She didn't have any crazy matts so I'm honestly not sure what happened. She's had a really bad matt before when we took her to our usual groomer and they never ever shaved her down to her skin to get rid of the matt. Anyways, I had to do touch-ups on Rosie once I got home because she looked so funky. Giving them two stars because she smelled decent and they gave her a cute handkerchief. (Photos are screenshots of a video I took since I didn't take actual photos before doing touch-ups but you can see the random chunk of missing hair and the choppiness).

Department associates are knowledgeable and helpful. Some cashiers need BETTER training.
Update: bought 2 fishes, one of them died in 24 hours. Hopefully it did not bring deseass to entire aquariim.

Stayed opened even though they were supposed to close so that we could get some medicine for our cat. Staff were super nice and knowledgeable.

The experience was great the service was very good to customers I set some fish for my some day were awesome but 3 die and I go bck an get lil more for him.he is so glad and happy he didn't give dem a name as yet

Grooming Services: Terrible customer service, lack of adequate management and lack of transparency. Just read the other reviews about poor families having unacceptable grooming services and you will see, this is the norm; they lack standards, accountability and a general sense of duty to their so-called "service. Petsmart usually has great sales and everything to offer. There store is big and reputable that it has all your pets needs.

They were absolutely horrible. They told me they wouldn't cut his hair a lot and cut it to the point where I can see his skin. They gave me rude glares and were extremely rude as I left. If you love your dog don't take him here.

No one available to help. I had to wait 15 at the cash so I can have someone ring me out meanwhile there were staff standing at the cashier desk chatting with another customers. They are rude and don't acknowledge you.

This location is okay. They have 1 or 2 superstar staff but the rest are not helpful and look annoyed/confused when you ask for help.

Imagine having an appointment months in advance, only for the groomer to call in sick the day before the appointment and cancel it. Only for them to leave a message saying they’ll call to reschedule but never actually do it. Screw customer loyalty and satisfaction then I guess?

Take my dog here for grooming. Girls do a really good job. Reason for the 4 is the wait time to get booked as they are always busy

THE WORST PET STORE IVE EVER WITNESSED. I booked my sweet puppy an appointment for grooming and they asked me her breed and I told them what she was mixed with. I was later told that they are refusing to service her because they “think” she’s mixed with pit bull. She has had many nail clipping appointments here without a hiccup but apparently they cannot service her even with a muzzle which she would not require because she has never bitten anyone in her life and has NO aggressive tendencies. She is a sweet girl and was shaking from fear when the lady touched her. To say I was heartbroken when they told me they were refusing us is putting it lightly. I’ve spent countless dollars buying her things from pet smart and I will never set foot in the store again. I wish I could leave this review with 0 starts they don’t even deserve the one.

We took our dog to get groomed. They refused because they “think” shes mixed with pitbull. We got papers from the veterinarian for reasons like this. The worst part is they have cut her nails plenty of times. You should remind your employees that bcause they “think” something it does not make it a fact. This place is terrible. With terrible customer service. Don’t go in there. Even when you have proof to disprove what they “think” they tell you they cannot help you. Completely a waste of time.

Do not recommend Horrible grooming the lady choked my dog and dragged it inside and when we came back to pick her up after 4 hours she wasn’t even dry or brushed her properly they didn’t cut her nails didn’t even spray the doggie perfume it was a total waste of money very unprofessional and they don’t care about ur dog I do not recommend I would rather clean her at home if giving less than 1 star was a choice I would do negative stars

Everything you need for many pets, I find the fish survive alot longer from here than from when I buy from other live fish stores

Last visit a pet smart was awful.manager including staff did not even acknowledge us in the store and when I asked a question I got I DON'T KNOW! Such poor poor customer service.

Love it here. The groomers are great. They put up with my over dramatic dog. Even though my dog is the cutest, most cuddliest pug ever to walk this earth, he thinks he's dying if you touch his paws. They are gentle and really quick and while I wait, I shop around.and often buy a toy or bone because you know.guilt. Pugs just have these faces you know? They always have the food I need and I enjoy going because Wilbur (my pug) gets to see and smell new things!

Got my two guinea pigs from here and I literally cannot live without them! Staff was so friendly and professional. The manager walked me through what they need, what cage size, and etc before I left the store with my guinea pigs.

Refused to take my dog because of “new policies”. That would be fine if they had let me know prior to his appointment. Instead they decided 2 minutes after my appointment time was the appropriate time to inform me of these “new policies”. I had to go out of my way, take off work to get there just to be told “no we can’t groom your dog. ”

Pro tip: inform the customer BEFORE their scheduled appointment, not AFTER.

They have quite a lot of pet products for cat and dog lovers. Wish they have pets to chose like before the covid.

I had called in to book a Grooming appointment. Lisa gave me two options she could take me this Saturday but only for a nail trim or the following week she would be able to do a bath and a nail trim. I picked the following Saturday. When I got there they told me I was booked for just a nail trim and when I explained the situation the manager said oh Lisa would never say that. Of course working in customer service I know that every manager sticks up for their employees. This manager was rude did not give me any time to explain the situation. I still decided to stay and get my dogs nails trimmed, the groomer was rude and rushed the nail trim. One of the employees offered to help bathe my 20 pound dog and the manager still said no she wasn’t booked for that.

Pretty sure this isn’t the type of customer service you should be giving as a manager.

I will never be going back to this store and have told MANY of my dog friends this experience and they have decided to not come back either.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Everything I needed was in stock. The workers are always willing to help their customers and their pets with everything they need. Best pet store ever in my opinion and my favorite place to shop for my pet (puppy named DANNO).

We sent our puppy to get a haircut here. She came back looking horrible. They cut only her face and left all the rest of her body untouched when we told them a proper full haircut. This was after we already made an appointment the week before and cancelled it after we got there. They still charged full price for just a trim around her eyes. They made her look worse than before we brought her in for the haircut. Very very disappointed.

Had to book a grooming appointment almost 2 months in advance. On the day of, on our way to our dog’s appointment, we received a phone call saying they had to cancel our appointment and reschedule out of the blue. Now we’ll have to wait weeks to months again.

The store is very convenient in getting things I need for my pet. The only thing I would say is that you always have to be looking for someone to help you especially in the fish department.

I understand we're having covid right now but we waited quite a bit of time for our curbside pickup order. But I'm not really blaming PetSmart and for some reason their email confirming my order is ready for pickup went to the junk. However we did approach the delivery person several times when we realized we were waiting for a bit of time but she never did suggest for us to go into the junk nor did she inquire further about what our order number was to offer further assistance or anything like that she could have been a little bit more helpful but nonetheless we got our order. Thank you to all the front line workers and the retail employees who are out there.

I would not recommend getting your pet groomed here. I booked a grooming appointment for 12: 30 PM, but I was told that they "overbook dogs on purpose" and he had to wait in a cage for several hours before his turn since there were other dogs waiting before him. We couldn't bring him back later since they bathe the dogs and then let them sit while they groom the other dogs first. I got a call to pick him up at 6: 30 PM and he was really thirsty when he came out. Never taking him back there again.

I’m very disappointed.today is my dogs grooming appointment and it’s been cancelled for the 4th time, I have always been good about it but enough is enough, apparently a message was left the evening before, I have taken a day off work, made necessary doctors appointments while Jasper is getting groomed and it’s not fair, I confirmed my appointment 3 days ago, why is Jasper always getting bumped, waiting to hear from store manager on a resolution

Lisa the manager is very sincere and although I was very upset initially she is booking jasper for thurs, they are short handed and things do happen, Jasper loves Emma his groomer and she is wonderful with him

The food and treats for the animals are reasonably priced also very happy with the grooming salon

There is a old woman with blonde hair I told her I have 3 kittens we don't have food and I can’t order online because my card locked but I can order on phone and pay by credit card and she literally said that no you can't she does not care I said they are hungry they need food and again she said order online I don't care. Terrible services I'm wondering what's wrong with her still waiting outside calling my bank trying to fix the problem 2 hr passed tnx good people

PetSmart customer attendant Sara helped finding required food and advised as required by me to buy appropriate food. This was nice experience. Always all attendents helps a lot and advise positive.

Best dog groomers around. Well trained staff, polite, friendly and very knowledgeable. I trust them with my adopted fluffy family.

Great store been going for years. Customer service is always good. Sometimes the cashing out takes a little longer then normal but when its busy it's to be expected but they try and get more tills going asap. They have dog training, grooming and an adoption center. Go in and pick yourself up a new friend that needs your love.

Manager here was unwilling to assist me finding a different size at another store because he didn't know the tag size even though the tags were right there on the product or could be looked up on the internet. Didn't want to look it up by name or any other way.
Complete waste of time shipping here as the help is incompetent.

Shame on you! After waiting for over a 6 weeks to have my dog groomed, you cancelled my appointment last minute because one of your groomers hurt her wrist. I explained that my dog was suffering because his nails were too long and his hair was matted. I asked to be accommodated somehow, someway and was refused every suggestion I made. They just did not care. The next appointment they offered me is July 10th. What part of "my dog is suffering do you not understand". Never ever coming to Pet Smart again.

Extensive and varied stock with the exception of cat grass (seemingly never in stock or dried up and almost dead) and too expensive.

Worst customer service; placed an order, I just received half of it. The store doesn't let you know what items are or aren't shipped. When tried to call back, no one available, of course.too many complaints to deal with. Never recommend to anyone. PetValue has better products, better service.

My absolute favorite Petsmart to go to, staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. When i dont bring my dog, the ask about her. The cashier with the long ginger ponytail and glasses is an absolute sweet heart.
