The store layout is very poorly thoughtout. The ceiling music is very loud and blasts right on top of the hamster cages. They do not care that hamsters have highly sensitive ears and that these music blaring for hours can be very stressful to them.

I have FINALLY found my PetSmart HOME! I am really upset with myself for not remembering the names of the two gentlemen, and I do mean GENTLEMEN who assisted me because they BOTH were outSTANDING and went above and beyond to help me! The store was bright and CLEAN and FULLY STOCKED and when you add the BRILLIANT customer service, I will ALWAYS choose Empress Walk PetSmart even though it is a bit out of my usual circle!

The options for birds are decent but I can see that it's a great place for those with cats and/or dogs. The prices are higher than buying from elsewhere like Walmart. But what to do? The employees are very friendly and make great suggestions when we ask them questions. I hope the management take care of their staff because they are great at their jobs.

Customer Service Representatives and cashiers are friendly and helpful but not intrusive - you can browse without being hounded which is the exact atmosphere I would love to see at all stores.

We were fortunate to have worked with Stephen for our dog's training, and it was a fantastic experience. They didn't wanted to sell the fish. I wanted to ask more about the room temperature fishes but the staff was not even answering my queries.

Disaster, only o e person working, slow cash line, absolutely poor variety, nothing to buy here, paid parking and had to drive to another store

First time I went there for my dog to get grooming. I paid $90 for grooming including the ear cleaning and tooth brush. But guess what? When I look my dogs ears it still dirty like they didn’t touch or clean. $90 is a lot!

Wide-range of options for your pets. The staff's quite helpful and ready with suggestions / assistance whenever approached.

I went in to get my dog bathed with Furminator. When I picked up my dog they forgot to do the service so they removed it from the few but still I signed up for it because my dog sheds a lot. Service was otherwise prompt and everyone was really nice. Shop portion is clean and neat and bright from all the windows

Like this store. I did both online and in-person shopping. Curbside pickup was convenient and fast. Usully find what I look for and staff is helpful.

Great choice of pet goods. I received a very good consultation from staff and they helped me to made the right choice of kitten food.

Our dog lost one eye during her first puppy training session. The store enrolled 14 dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages in one tiny space. She was put next to an aggressive Husky / German Sheppard that was later classified by City of Toronto as a dangerous dog. The trainer from PetSmart threw toys into the crowd to entertain the dogs. The Husky / German Sheppard bit our dog's eye off in order to snatch her toy. To this day PetSmart believes that they are not responsible because there is a waiver clause in the enrollment form that we signed. Worst day of our lives.

Took my 3 dogs in for grooming, really happy with the results and feedback the groomers gave. Will be bringing my dogs back to here

I took my dog here for the bath. Service was included ear cleaning and paw pads shaving but neither one was done. Still came home with dirty ears and messy paw pad hair. She had super looooooong nails wonder why she couldn't clean my dog's ear. I would've bath him myself. Wasting time and money.

Store is organized and clean, staffs are friendly and knowledgeable. The only complaint is their product variety is limited compared to other stores.

Incredibly helpful staff and overall experience.

I had a pretty complicated transaction (including return and store credit) that was delayed because of the lockdowns, a few miscommunications, and technical issues with the online website.

I spoked with Michael (#597652) multiple times (on the phone and twice in person) and he was very helpful.

I totally understand that the transaction, the transfers, and the overall handling of the situation must have been equal parts complicated and frustrating for everyone involved (myself included). Some of the issues were because of how the website works in conjunction with the store credit merchandise cards which was out of everyone's hands.
But regardless, Michael was very patient and respectful throughout every single transaction. He explained the process and limitations and went above and beyond to ensure that the problem at hand was solved.

I also spoke to another store associate (#597652) and a corporate associate during this process, and they were all also very empathetic and patient in hearing me out and ultimately redirecting me back to Michael who sorted everything out.

Other staff here have always been incredibly friendly and helpful to me and my Pupperoony. We have always had very positive grooming experience here as well.

For customers and specifically dog owners here, I do not recommend changing your dogs food in general, but if you're concerned about variety in your dog's diet, the most important tip I have is to try smaller bags of food when integrating new foods. Because the bigger bags are more likely to be more expensive (and ultimately wasteful) if your dog refuses it.

It was extremely bright, not busy at all. The staff was very helpful, and willing to assist us. A great variety of everything, and the quality I find is really worth the cost. It's wheelchair accessible.

Clean and pleasant place to come for pet needs. A great selection of products with friendly staff ready for any questions.

The store is very clean and organized. There is a variety of options for all types of pets. The prices are very good. The employees are very kind, helpful and knowledgeable of all products and their benefits. Overall an extremely pleasant place to shop.

I like how well it’s organized the store I mean, but I couldn’t stand seeing these lovely fishes in these bottles, when they’re supposed to be in a tank, the bottles looked like it was condensed. Live fishes ain’t supposed to be in this small tight containers.

Our go to shop of all our rabbit needs. They have deals all the time for hay and litter as an example so we always stock up. Clean store also, parking reimbursement too.

The lady who happened to be in the fish area wasn't friendly at all. Kept asking me to do research first before buying fish for my son. I did do the research about the first timer but she insisted that it has to ne in the aquarium tank, if not it will be cruelty to animal. So why are they selling fish bowl?

One of the best PetSmart stores that I have been in. The staff are extremely kind and helpful. They were able to quickly find what I was looking for and gave me some valuable tips for owning a pet. I am glad that I chose this store to do my pet shopping at!

Look at what they did.the groomer broken 3 nails and couldnt stop the bleeding so they ended up calling the vet. I cant image how harsh they treat the dogs on your back. DO NOT go to this store if you dont want your dog suffer.

I had a mixed user experience at pet smart today. I experienced kind customer Service when I was asking about product offers and how they work. However, at the check out counter, the employee just didn’t seem accommodating or kind to me at all. She seemed upset at me asking for a few product exceptions, but i didn’t mind that at all.

It was pouring rain outside and I overheard another employee at the separate cash making an exception to allow another customer to leave through the mall entrance despite it being covid (note - the subway and building parking is still in the mall and people are allowed to be inside - so it’s a somewhat illogical regulation to keep the mall entrance closed in this case.)

I too was dressed to a minimum and was unprepared to get soaked in the rain. The checkout employee flat out refused to accommodate my request to be allowed to pass in so I could get direct access to the subway. I went around outside, got poured on while carrying $100+ of cat food just to go the long way into the mall to use the subway and appear on the other side of that exact closed entrance.

Though I realize that I was asking for an exception that may be against government regulations; I still believe that allowing me to use the mall entrance as an exception was the right thing to do considering the weather circumstances.

She was also not willing to provide any solution other than a “not my problem” attitude, and the store was not busy, but it was well staffed. As someone who works in retail myself - that was poor customer service.

Good selection of items and reward points add up quick! There's also an engraving station if you need a new tag made for your pet.

Worst location I have ever been to. No one at the grooming counter or managing lineups/customers. Left 15mins after the scheduled appointment after not being able to speak to a single staff member. Do not waste your time or money on this location.

Went their for purchasing gold fish. Not sure if it is because of COVID. The fish looks unhealthy and being under treated (sorry I forgot to take the photo). Feel a little bit ironic when the sales saying my tank is too small and they want to make sure the fish goes to the right home and meanwhile seeing fish are in a tank that is much smaller than mine and dying.

I looked for filter cartgridge I had no experience before so I was expecting to find what I need with a little help but I search everything myself and I couldnt find what I need thanks for that brilliant shopping experience

Love this location. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. Lots of variety in terms of pet food and products. No parking but there's street parking as well as a Green P lot across the street.

Absolutely terrible experience at the groomers in this store. We dropped off our dog for grooming there only for them to tell us that a toy poodle with no prior incidents of aggression was "too aggressive" to be groomed. She has been groomed everywhere (including this location) and has had no problems before. They did not even call us to let us know, so we literally waited around for 2 hours for nothing. I'm pretty sure they forgot about our dog due to being understaffed and super behind schedule, and had to make up an excuse for not being to groom our dog in the last 2 hours. They even suggested us to SEDATE our TOY POODLE at a vet in order to be groomed. Are you kidding me?

And I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that she WAS being aggressive, why was there no call in TWO HOURS notifying us that she cannot be groomed? Something is not definitely right at this place and not trustworthy at all.

Very very friendly staff. They all know where everything is along with knowing the sales and how to save customers money

This Pet Smart has it all, and it's all very well laid out. Bring Fido or Frida along for the trip too. Its ver easy to find sale items throughout the store or you can ask their pet loving staff for help too.

Very knowledgeable staff making sound recommendations on a child's first pet. She provided us with thorough information and was very helpful.

If I can go to another PetSmart, I do. I usually use this one just for quick stops since it's close to home. Most of the staff is really nice, but we had a bad experience with one guy at the grooming salon. Now my dog is nervous just entering the store. The layout is also different from other PetSmart and a bit awkward.

Large selection for all your pets needs. They cater to dogs, cats, reptiles and aquatics. A great and caring grooming salon for your dog. Look for your dogs breed for specials of the month!

I am not confident they can handle dogs or it would be better to say the store was very busy on a Saturday. I expected people to be more professional at this location. My last experience was really bad. I book my dog two weeks ago for bath and full haircut. I left a note to trim her face first as she gets impatient. After 3 hours I got a call from the store saying they were not able to cut her hair. And next time I would have to take her to the vet to sedate her, that was shocking to me. So disappointed, the only service done was bath, trimming nails and little bit of her face. They were saying my dog was agressive and tried to bite the groomer and the tools. She is a very sweet shihtzu and behaves well. It's disrespectful with dog as well.
