New store, lots of variety, got the supplements my dog needed and with a discount I earned

This was the regular meal worm i bought today. They are not even worth buying for dragons.mite size. Check out the photo. There are a couple of the ones I bought at southwestern pet in london ne t to them for comparison. Back to london I go can't feed them this.

Most of the time, I have great experiences while shopping here, but there are times when it's a little difficult to find a staff member to speak to. However, when I do finally find an employee, they are very police and apologetic for not being readily available.
Overall, I have never had an issue with this store!

I was in yesterday to buy some dog food and was approached by a friendly young lady offering assistance, and Joey on cash was very friendly as well. It was a small stop on my to do list, but they definitely made it a pleasant one.

I love this store, I've had great experiences with the staff, especially at the counter. We go in frequently so it's nice to see familiar faces each time, and they're always up to chat about their pets and recommend products for ours. I generally always find what I need, and they always have our pet's kibble and bones stocked. The small animals, fish and cats always look very well cared for.

Would be awesome if they had the Granville Island Treatery Stress cookies at this location.:)

Went into your location this evening the cashier was very rude especially when I pointed out the item was ringing up at a much higher price then what actually cost was. When I told her she responded with what you cant afford it? Which I found very unprofessional. WILL NOT RETURN!

There's way to many sick n dead fish like they don't clean the tanks or feed them other than that its just like your normal petsmart

Immediately upon entering the store, staff assisted me. Found all the Christmas toys and treats for my pups and left with a smile on my face.

Lots of variety and different pack sizes.
Stocked inventory may be low for specialty food blends. Great staff

Good customer service, the selection of live animals is pretty limited. Frequently out of stock on aquarium supplies I need.

I love PetSmart.
My only objection is that people need to be aware of their pets and that not all people want to be near your pets. I love animals and have 3 dogs and 1 indoor cat. I love bringing our dogs in for a visit but I think pet owners still need to be respectful of personal pet bubbles

Steven D.has helped me on several occasions for my pets. I overheard him helping a customer to another level the other day and had to give him specifically a review. Steven isn't just an honest employee but a great person, management should be in his future as he understands how to fulfill the needs of the customers he helps.

Friendly and helpful staff, would have got 5 stars but a lot of empty shelves and products I had gone for were out of stock. To be fair there are universal supply chain issues and I will revisit this store and change it if this improves, but other Petsmarts in the vicinity had the items I was looking for.

Clean well maintained store with really kind and friendly staff got my hamster there and he was well looked after while he was there clearly

I have scheduled 2 appointments for a grooming for my dog and twice now they have cancelled the day of. I have to book these appiontments a month or two in advance. I'm very frustrated.

A couple of things! I had booked an appointment for a regular nail trim for June 7th, 2022. When I arrived, there was no appointment listed for me. Luckily the store was not busy and she could take me as I do not live in the city. This morning I received a reminder email that my appointment was scheduled for July 7th instead. I cancelled this appointment.
During the June 7th visit, I was told that our dog (2 yrs old) is becoming increasingly anxious at each visit and that I needed to play with her feet, which we do regularly, and she is fine. I demonstrated in front of the employee to show the employee that our dog has no issues with us touching her feet. Even our grandchildren can play with our dog's feet! So then advised that our dog should not return for further nail maintenance. I advised the employee that they were the experts, and with black nails, I am not prepared to cut them and hurt her! Initially, her trims were non eventful. I asked the employee 'What had changed? What caused this new anxiety? ' I can only assume that her nails may have been cut to short and caused her quick to bleed at one particular visit, dabbed with something to stop the bleed so I wouldn't notice. I've been bringing her to this location only for the last 1.5 years and the anxiousness began in the last 1/2 year or so. I know that the employee will not tell me if this is what actually happened, but something did in their presence. I will now have to find a new nail groomer or have someone teach me how. I am not impressed on both above accounts.

They have quite the variety of things for pet's. The staff are friendly and helpful, nice clean store. They were fairly busy. They do have different toys for dogs and cats.

Nice store, friendly staff, clean, however the dog toys aisle was poorly stocked - out of mostly everything, and they didn't have what we went in for this visit

A large selection of dog treats, food (s) and such. The added bonus of friendly and knowledgeable staff completes the amazing in-store shopping experience.

Good store unfortunately like so many places anymore they are under staffed. And the employees need better training.

Absolutely Wonderful, we now have a local PetSmart. Bought my beautiful Oscar's there! Now, my female is 15" within a year and now "Queen of the Tank".

We have taken our dog to get a bath wash dethatching and nails done she has been itching and scratching since last Sunday she is still losing hair we have been brushing her since Monday wish I new what kind of shampoo they use on animals

Hailey is excellent with my rescue St.bernard who is a nervous girl.
Hailey is patient and gentle with her and does an awesome job grooming 3!

Danielle does such a fantastic job with our saint banard, highly recommended. Danielle pays close attention to detail, very professional and kind

Outside of the typical corporate domination and evisceration of locally owned stores, I would say I was pleasantly surprised with the passion and knowledge of the frontline staff. There was always someone available to help and they knew their stuff.

They were great I adopted a new cat and I am very pleased with the experience, the young lady who helped me was very knowledgeable and polite, I recommend this store to anyone.

Long wait at checkout. Only one cashier working. Also, went in to buy fish a few weeks ago, waited for 10 minutes, nobody came to help. Went to look for someone, found the manager who told me it would be a few (more) minutes as everyone was busy in the back. Waited 10 more minutes, still nobody came, so I left. Bought my fish elsewhere. Only went back yesterday as I need to get my filters from there. Pathetic!

Seem to be under staffed. Difficult to book appointments in person. Left after waiting over 30 minutes without seeing anyone in the grooming department. They are very good with our dog while they are working on her though.

I'm very disappointed with the curbside pick up at the St. Thomas location. I've tried to pick my order up twice since I ordered it on Nov 22 and each time when I use the APP to say "I'm here" no one brings the order out. After waiting 10 minutes I then call the number and the associate cannot locate my name. When I offer my order confirmation number I'm told they don't need it. Each time I leave frustrated and ask for the order to be cancelled but am told to call the store directly.will be looking for another pet food supplier.

Worse customer service ever. I was told that this place would help you measure and find a harness for your dog. Staff avoided me and I ended up struggling my myself. Eventually just left.

I am impressed with petsmart. The majority of my plants and fish have come from petsmart and all have been healthy. David was an amazing help when my fish tank blew a seal

Waited 15 minutes past my scheduled appt for my dog to get his nails trimmed only to be told by the groomer that his vaccines were not up to date and they couldn’t facilitate the appointment without that paperwork. Absolutely no mention of this when I booked the appointment over the phone- which would have very likely indicated that this was required. Instead wasted my morning without even an apology from the staff.

Honestly, even 1 out of 5 stars is generous.

We just got a 9 week old puppy and needed the essentials, the staff were very helpful in helping us get a harness, food and toys suitable for our dog, great place to shop

Absolute amazing! Danielle is so kind and caring with Gracie my Labradoodle. I live in London but go to St. Thomas Pet Smart as to have her groom Gracie. Thankyou Danielle and Pet Smart!

Friendly staff all of whom is willing to help. Lots of selection. Found the grooming service was a let down. They were great with my dog but didn't get what I paid for (major thumbs down for the price paid). Only reason why I would not rate this as a 5 star store.

I've come to this PetSmart twice now, my dogs are more relaxed here than other Petsmarts. The staff are friendly and caring with my dogs.

Great new addition to St. Thomas. Friendly staff in the grooming salon and the cashiers are super nice as well. I enjoyed my experience there!
