I booked my Two dogs in for them to get there haircut by two groomers instead I got one and they didn’t even finish cutting him. They finished one but not the other. And I have to go back for them finish him. They said he pee and poop. The only reason it happened it was so long and making him so super nervous. That is why I booked Tammy and another girl. I’m not happy

My 9 month old puppy was being groomed at this location when I receive a phone call that my pup is very upset and won't let them finish. That I need to come and pick him up now and that he is not welcome back until he gets training. I found a cut on his upper chest. I'm not upset that the cut happened. Mistakes happen. What upsets me is that all of the blame was placed on the dog and that he's banned from the Pet Smart grooming. This is very poor management. I am not all happy with Pet Smart right now.

This was hard for me to rate so low, as I love animals, and how they have an incredibly clean and well stocked inventory of pet products.

But last time I was there I asked for some assistance because my cat had swallowed a toy, and I wanted a dry cat food that was appealing to cats, and not just owners because of the ingredients. The first person to help me suggested Royal Canine. Saying it was a great food for cats. I bought it. When I brought it home I saw it was filled with too many unrecognizable ingredients. I returned it no problem. When I did I asked for another to help with the dry cat food again. Because I was still in the process of returning my item. The Petsmart staff person was distracted, and never came back!

I went to the dry cat food aisle and found a limited ingredient cat food called Applaws. I bought it without checking reviews (I probably should have). It was a success! My fur baby loves it, he licks the plate entirely clean.

Only visited once. Found this place a bit pricy. I was looking for a cat carrier, their price range was 70plus, I found something I was looking for for $50 in Pet value.

Today Finigan got his haircut by the Manager she know what’s she doing. She did a amazing job. I’m super happy.

My regular groomer was away. Booked with a new groomer Khiana who refused to service my dog as we requested to pick our pet & place him on the grooming table as he’s anxious & she’s new to him. I hope all you pet parents understand how this does not sit well with us. I did not get any kind of customer service from this groomer, she made us feel she was doing us a favour after making us wait half an hour for our appointment.

Anytime I visit this store and ask for help/advice they are clueless except the aquatic dept. When you hire people for petsmart atleast give them basic knowledge of pets.
Today when I was at the checkout with just one person behind me, this lady could not hold on for 1 min and was rude. She did not even put my items in the bag but was looking at my face to do that when I was already hands full. Please teach your employees some courtsey and patience. You have definitely lost your customer today and would not recommend to anyone further.

Super long wait to get assistance when purchasing a pet. The wait was so long that people were walking out, but the lady who did help us was knowledgeable and extremely friendly.

Wish I could do a zero. I was treated horribly today by the grooming salon, third time this place disappoints! I called to say I might be 10 mins late, was told ok no problem I'm good til a quarter to. In the 5 minutes it took to get there, I received 3 calls since I called, 3 calls in 5 mins. When I get there, that older blonde witch was getting ready to take tlmy 2 dogs but but decided to retaliate when I said they should put notes on file as I received 3 calls in 5 mins. She didn't like that and rudely started chastising me for being late and said she wouldn't take them any longer, so I called the manager and we spent half an hour discussing and arguing. Of course the manager was not willing to hear what really happened here and offered to take just the one dog. We'd just spent half an hour trying to discuss the situation. They could have been almost done with the one dog, he's so tiny. Shame. Not coming back to this place ever again, I should have learned my lesson since the first time my dog tried to tell me he hated this place by trying to chew out of the kennel from anxiety and broke his tooth, that should have never happened! He's 13 so this was NOT his first grooming experience! Something must have horribly upset him! And they should have paid attention!

review is for the due to a syst an of my babies, when I got there to pick up my first pup, the groomer was coddling him like a baby! I also saw the other groomer comforting another dog. I'm happy with both haircuts for mine and I'm glad I have this place near me! Thank you Maddie!

I do not recommend having your dog groomed by Tammy. She unfortunately does not have the patience or expertise to do grooming and will instead place the blame on your dog when she can’t get something done. My dog has never had any complaints for the past 4 years he’s been getting groomed at this PetSmart, Tammy was the only one. Thank you Sheldon for ultimately helping us.

My first experience with Petsmart grooming. My last experience with Petsmart grooming. I am completely dissatisfied. Horrible customer service. Matter of fact they denied me the service and recommended to take the business elsewhere, due to thier own incompetent service. I left in awe. Go elsewhere

Bought mule worms for my lizard, cat litter and crickets. Customer service was quick and efficient.

I’ve only come here twice and both time Messed up my dogs bath and nail appointment. The second time they couldn’t even accommodate me on their own mess up. 2/10 not worth your time. The staff are friendly though.

Pet Smart is very convenient. I get treats, food and grooming done here. My puppy is also enrolled in their puppy training class

Please stay away from this place if you love your dogs! They don’t know how to treat a dog. Very rude and insensitive staff.

Spent $ 230 the prices were all wrongly market the teller was rude and arrogant but the first lady Nd the guy I met were excellent and helpfull I spoke to the assistant manager and told her what gsppenrd the teller should be trained to act properly

This store always have the best pets for adoption. There's alot of variety to shop for your pets. Very helpful staff.

This place is an absolute joke. Do not bring your pets here to get groomed. The people who work here are unqualified children who know nothing about animals or work ethic. And, obviously, don't care about either.
Very disappointed with this place and how they treat their clients.

Great selection on the Petsmart end of things BUT the cat adoption people are so stupid, it was a chore to find people to let you into the adoption area and even when you do you're told to wait.spent about an hour to see one cat.

I would like to take a moment and recognize Hellena form Brampton location. It was a wonderful experience to interact with Hellena and know about her expertise and knowledge about fishes. It was my first time and wanted to know more about different types of fishes and how to get familiar with fish tanks. Hellena walked me through the entire process sharing her insights and some super useful tips helping me buy the right kind of fish suitable for my tank. Thank you again for your help. You are truly a great human being and a great asset for the organization. Thank you

We had originally booked our appointment with Sheldon after a recommendation but got a call from PetSmart that they had to move our appointment to an hour earlier. I originally thought, okay that’s fine we can accommodate that, but they never mentioned they’ll change the groomer as well. We ended up with Maria who didn’t bother listening to what we asked and ended up doing something she felt like doing. She gave our puppy a really bad trim job. Our family can’t stop talking about how awful our poor puppy looks now, even days after receiving his trim. “Maria” has now become a bit of a curse word in our house. It was our puppy’s first haircut and he clearly hated it because he came back with more tear stains than before and seemed pretty agitated. I actually had to trim extra tear stained hair away from his eyes after coming home because Maria didn’t do it well. We take our pup to the vet a lot and he always comes back smiling and happy, so we could tell something was definitely off after his visit to PetSmart. I’m really disappointed with this location and what they’ve done to our little pup.

Salon staff was knowledgeable and helpful with my puppies first haircut, happy i trusted them with the length, she looked great

Generally i dont give a bad review and ignore places that I am not satisfied, except fir the times where my experience is really really terrible. This is one of those cases. I left my dog at the grooming salon at 5PM. I get a call at 7: 45 to come and pick him up. I reach the location at 8: 00. I wait till 8: 40 to be attended. 40 minutes just waiting for someone to come out! I asked the cashier and she replied they dont have access to the groomers and i will have to wait till someone comes out, insane! I finally pick him up at 8: 45 thats exactly an hr since he was “ready to be picked up”. This is my last visit to the store.

Just want to say that pet smart has a good grooming service they jyst use not the that greatest prodict in the grooming dept. The crapest product pet smart uses isthe furmator. Its a de sheding shampoo. May dog breaks out in hives every time the furmator is used on my dog. DO NOT USE THE FURMANATOR, DONT BUY IT DONT LET PET SMART USE IT ON UR PET.

I was told by my vet that its highly likely my dog got an alergic reaction from the grooming centre here because he got sick just a few hours later. Be careful. Some of younger staff are very rude. They allow pets, but throw a fit and borderline try "detaining" you if your pet randomly pees in the store. Pet Value on Sandalwood is a million times better with friendly staff.

If you love your dogs please don’t bring them here! The grooming services that are provided are below a one star. They don’t know how to treat dogs with social anxiety, and on top of that the haircut looks ridiculous! I found a great spot just 5 minutes away, and will continue to bring my dogs there, as they leave happy and look great!

P.s the staff at this pet-smart really need training

Great location, not a great experience.
Waited in one lane, then that cashier (Yvel) asked my husband and I to go to an opening one beside. At that same moment 2 customers beat us to that lane so we decided to stay in the initial lane. Once we proceeded as the next customer in line, she said rudely " oh I'm leaving thats why I told you to go to the next one over".
I'm sorry but I've never heard a cashier respond to customers this way regarding closing their lane. How about " Sorry this is the last customer then im closing". Very unprofessional, where is your customer service Yvel.

Very poor customer service! They banned my family members puppy for having anxiety. Insensitive staff! Bring your dog elsewhere for grooming.

Great staff. Always friendly and nice to talk to. The grooming salon I love. They are friendly and they take their time grooming my dog. My dog is always excited to see the staff there.

Although I don't write reviews often, I believe in giving credit where credit is due. I walked into PetSmart with a multitude of questions regarding fish tanks, as I had recently purchased one and was struggling with a bacteria bloom and our beta fish was not eating. I approached a lady named Helena who listened to all of my concerns and took her time with me to address each issue. Not only is my fish tank the clearest I have ever seen it, our beta fish is finally eating! My daughter and I could not be any happier. Thank you so much!

Good store, nothing rest wrong with it, a classic petsmart. Little pricey tho, the Walmart across it has much of the same stuff from cheaper prices

Just heard from my wife about the horrible experience she had at petsmart with Sonia, the blue buffalo rep. She embarassed my wife in front of my parents and other shoppers by rudely saying she didn’t appreciate my wife interfering. What business is it of a rep about whether customers choose a certain brand of dog food? Just because my wife looks Asian and my parents of Lebanese desent that you assume there is no relationship there. What gives this rep any right to interfere with what final choice the customer decides to purchase? Sonia was continuously stalking my parents to ensure they purchased the Blue buffalo brand. She was selling this brand so hard. When the time came that they chose a different brand, she assumed my wife had changed their mind when it wasn’t the case. My wife was just putting the blue buffalo brand away and Sonia just assumed there was “interference”. She asked my wife if she worked for a dog food company which my wife said no. She then grabbed everything, said she didn’t appreciate my wife interfering and stormed off. Why is it any of her business about where someone works? Why is my wife assumed to be blamed for when my parents didn’t choose Blue Buffao? On top of that, the brand my wife suggested was not the brand my parents ended up getting. So really, what difference did it make to Sonia? They were never interested in purchasing such an expensive brand but they felt intimidated because she’s a rep and used such tactics to hard sell blue buffalo. Also, the manager on site was not the real manager and covered for Sonia to say she is on break and unable to come to the store front. There is no promise of follow up or even to take my wife’s phone number. This shows carelessness, unprofessionalism, and horrible customer service. You will be sure to get a follow up from this family as we were unhappy with everything that ensued today.

Really friendly staff and always willing to help me carry heavy bags of cat litter to my car. They’re very organized at this location I only wish they had more than one cashier at a time, I really don’t enjoy waiting so long to checkout. I’ll be back though

Will not be shopping here again during or after the pandemic. They let people in without PPE or masks and don't even question it. When I called to ask them why I was told by a manager to "shop online and do curbside pickup then". Go to a pet value or Ren's or even Walmart this place is unsafe.

The food we get for our dog is always being discontinued, and stock is always low. The grooming salon always puts you on hold and then forgets about you, hangs up after 10 minutes. Can't book online because Petsmart website account recovery is broken.

Nice service as a new pet owner the person at the store unfortunately forgot the name e planned everything in details from food to get to what and how to take care of ur pet's.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. They're animal lovers and very knowledgeable of the products. Unfortunately they don't have dogs to adopt. In a city with so many beautiful parks and amazing citizens this location would do well by having dog adoption.

Got a new puppy last night, went to PetSmart as a first time puppy owner.and man, great service. The guy at the register was super helpful. Even before walking to the register to check out, he was in the isles fixing the shelves and he stopped and asked if I needed anything. Sounds super simple, but that's something you don't always see. He helped me pick out the right size collar, and then at the register answered a lot of my questions about PetSmart's puppy training.

I took my pup to get groomed once by Heather at this location and had a really bad experience. When I returned to pick up my puppy, the person at the front desk of the grooming station wouldnt return my dog stating that it is petsmart policy that I have to go wait in line and pay first. Ive been going to petsmart for the past year and was always returned my dog before having to go wait in line so i knew it wasnt the policy but i still complied. As I went to go wait in line to pay, I could see that another person had come to pick up their dog from grooming and were able to take their dog right away before paying. I thought it was strange. Finally i was returned my dog. It wasnt until i finally got home I noticed that the groomers had shaved my dog pretty badly and I had to take him to the vets for antibacterial cream so it wouldnt be infected. It seems like the groomers were worried I would complain about them cutting my dog in multiple places which is why they made up rules so I would pay before i could see how they hurt my dog. Tried to speak to the manager about this and she did admit that there are no such policys. If you continue going to this petsmart, avoid Heather! She is terrible

My family and I always love to visit, just to peruse. The staff is always friendly and there are so many options to choose from, which other stores do not have. Always nice to run into other people's fur babies as well.

Booked a grooming appointment for my 12 week old GSD puppy. I thought he was going to be hard to manage and it would be a difficult task. Maria made it look simple! Will be bringing my puppy here whenever he needs grooming. She did a very good job!

It seems like a good PetSmart, very new and clean. However, the primary issue, at least for me, is that the fish area has an uncomfortable noise. I understand the fish tanks emit noise, but this one physically hurt and caused a headache by its pitch and tone. I think it is something that could be fixed if the store bothered to fix it. I’m wondering if the mechanical components of the fish tanks (filter, water circulator, etc.) are the source of the issue. Sometimes the noise made me wonder if something was grating in the mechanical components. I struggle to think the store will bother with fixing it; the employees seemed very much just doing the bare minimum of their jobs, there was a dog pee puddle that they just walked over, cashiers were grumpy about us bothering them to cash out, we had to walk on the curb to get past a groomer employee having a smoke break to enter the store. It was a bizarre experience, mostly because of how I have an excellent experience at other PetSmart stores.

No staff to assist for enquiries, just a rude young man doing training and asked me to pull my dog closer and didn't respond to hi, and the other staff at the cash counter. There was pee in 3 spots.

I've been shopping at this place ever since it opened. The store is clean and well stocked, the staff is friendly and helpful. But I have to highlight the grooming service because it is outstanding. We've been going to a small business for years and when our groomer retired I decided to give Pet Smart a try. I was a little apprehensive, given that some people advised me to stay away from big box stores. But now I know that I have nothing to worry about. They are very professional, knowledgeable and thoughtful, and always do a great job with my woodle. Luna doesn't seem to mind it too much, even though she's not crazy about the doggie bath.

Occasionally out of stock of the larger sizes of dog food, and doesn't have great QC on all products. You need to go in there knowing what brands are good.

I love to come here for fish items. Fish are ok sometimes have diseases or are old but not all the time. Some "topfin" items aren't great quality as I have a 2 gallon betta tank where the backing is already coming off and haven't had it for a year but overall prices are great and most items are good.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. I asked my stupid questions and got very good answers.

Great pet smart. I go their to get all my dog stuff. They even have grooming place. Also a training school. Which is great not all pet smart have one. They have everything for all animal lovers.

This is a small but fully stocked store with pet food and supplies, as well as a selection of fish. I'm mainly posting to recommend the grooming services for dogs as the ladies who work there do an excellent job and are very good with my two huskies - they are knowledgeable as to what needs to be done. I usually get the PAWdicure Plus. I have brought them in there a few times for grooming, including paw trims, nail grinding, teeth brushing and ear cleaning. It is best to call ahead as it can get very busy on any given day, however, I have also had some success getting an appointment as a walk-in.

I feel unfortunate for the fishes here. It’s gone from good to bad to worst since they opened this relatively new branch. On multiple visits we found a lot of dead fish in the showroom, some of them even looked super decayed that I can’t imagine how long it’s been sitting there inside the tank. As well, the tanks are not kept clean as some of them are way way too green — big chunks of algae. I really do hope they turn around in their ways.

I was always told not to go to the “big box” pet stores for grooming, but to a smaller boutique groomer. Despite that, I tried out this Pet Smart as it was close to my home. I am thoroughly impressed with the service at this location! Even when they booked incorrectly the first time, the way they handled it was above and beyond! The grooming service itself is phenomenal - the staff is caring, knowledgeable, and highly skilled at what they do. Christine groomed our little Winnie, and she did such a great job! Winnie even came back with a Pawgress Report card:) We will definitely be coming back here again and again! Thank you!

I am so happy they opened this location! I buy all my dog food at this location and also get 3 of my dogs groomed there. Maria is the best and she has been grooming my girls for the past 5 years. She is always making my girls look good and she is always so friendly with them.

Very friendly, would love to work here if i got a chance my puppy went crazy in here with all the smells the staff was so helpful and friendly
