I shop here all the time for my pups and i came today to get my dogs nails clipped.we were denied service because she looks like an American bully. I know it’s not the employees fault but pet smarts policy.this is so unacceptable and such a let down that they discriminate certain dog breeds.any dog can be aggressive and just because of their history doesn’t give anyone rights to discriminate a certain breed.you guys need to change your policy!

Amanda who attended to our dog was a friendly girl. She was very kind and caring to our dog. She was very professional and did a perfect job.

This was my first time getting my dog groomed with pet smart. I only booked my dog here because his regular groomer is fully booked until September… Emily cut my dogs hair. I asked for one length all around, nothing too crazy but it still came out really uneven. The sides of his mouth have long pieces, his legs are patchy and there is a patch of long hair on his stomach. Not satisfied…

I booked an appointment in advance because they were too busy to take in my dog. I showed up early to my dogs appointment today July 9th 2022 at 7: 50 am, just for them to tell me they can’t cut his hair because he has “Too many knots”, I thought she or the team that works there would at least give me advice or at least try and cut as much of his hair as they could. Instead she suggested I go back to my veterinarian and get them to basically do the job that she’s supposed to do. She said, that I should take my dog to get his knots removed and once that was done to come back when he would need to be attended.
This was not a professional way to take care of your customers. I am utterly disappointed with the customer service they gave.

I took my two dogs to the groomers today. The sheepdog was to get a trim only around the eyes, paws and privates which I was pleased with.

The reason for 1 star:
My smaller maltipoo, I asked for a Teddy Bear cut, she asked me if I wanted a #4? So i showed her previous cut, I attached the exact same photo i showed her in the pictures here. She then said oh thats lower than a #4. I said have no idea what size clippers they used, I trust you would know better than me. The girl then said oh yeah definitely lower than a 4. I then left and was called 2 hours later to get my dogs.

They asked me to pay the balance before seeing my dogs, so I go to the cashier and pay. They bring them out and my mouth just dropped. The cut was all uneven, and jagged. They also didnt smell clean. I'm assuming they crated them in filthy crates while I went to go pay.

I was very upset that she came out looking like a chihuahua, which is fine except she's not a chihuahua. To charge the same amount sometimes even more, than an experienced groomer is very upsetting. I expected the same professionalism and skill for what I'm paying.

My husband was also upset when he saw her. He called petsmart and was told your wife said she was happy with it. I did not say such a thing, the only words I could utter was "that's a very short cut". He was told "well we cant put the hair back on her but we will give you a refund" by the manager named Kylie. It was very noble of the manager to offer a refund without having to request for one.

I do not recommend getting your dog groomed here unless you want a straight buzz cut.

Placed an order online for bird food, and there was some confusion during pick up x2. I contacted the store and spoke to the general manager Mel and she truly went above and beyond to solve it. Thank you again for understanding and truly going out of your way!

Never again will I come to this location again.

I come in to pick up items I need for my pets and they are stocking during the middle of the day. There are pallets everywhere and I am getting told to move. Excuse me I am trying to shop. I was asking the woman where she wanted me to put the cart and she kept telling me to move it as she needs to put a pallet. I loved my cart backwards and went to pick up cat litter and she then told me move again as she needs the space.
I get that you “need to stock” during the middle of the day I might add, but please don’t consistently tell customers to move, you work there, you are paid hourly you can wait a minute for me to pick up litter jeeze.

Maybe, stock when the store is closed, not when the store is full of potential customers buying stuff for their animals and if they are buying stuff you can wait, do not make customers move out of the way and block aisles where they need to get stuff.

Thanks for this, I will continue to get the rest of my items elsewhere as I will not support this location again.

People need to learn customer service skills. You work in a customer service job, but lack all skills.

We got our daughter a hamster from here for her birthday and was very happy with their service.

The manager was extremely helpful and friendly. Recently purchased a bearded dragon from the store and staff were very knowledgeable. I'd highly recommend this store to anyone for all pet needs.

I'm a regular customer here, and have never had a bad experience. Staff on the floor and at cash are always very friendly and helpful. The cahier I had today was especially great, wish I had gotten their name!

Absolutely love this location. Shakira and Nicholas were super helpful and kind. I also got help from a really nice girl (not sure her name.she has long curly hair in a bun!) To find some kitty treats for our new adoptee. Super attentive and sweet people who understand how important our fur friends are!

Love the groomers at this petsmart. Super nice and doesn't rush you and treat dogs kindly and with love! The groomer Madison is my favorite recommend her to be your groomer!

I have a PetSmart Treats membership, which gives you sale prices, and 15/20/25% off coupons on individual items.

I placed an online order for curbside pickup, and was unable to apply the 25% coupon to an individual item. I called the store to ask if they knew why or could adjust it at pick up. They advised they are unable to as the order was placed online. Which is fine, she offered to give me their customer service number.

When you pick up your curbside order, they include a packing slip. I simply asked if she could write the phone number on the packing slip of the order I was there to pick up and was told no because it was an online order.what?

That makes literally zero sense. I am asking if you can use a pen to write on a piece of paper that you are bringing out to me anyways. I was put in hold so she could ask a manger, of course I was disconnected. I checked in from the app to get my order, I was NOT going to call back as they clearly don't understand what was being said to them. Will be shopping at a different location going forward.

I do curb pick up. They are ready when I arrive. Other PetSmart stores have been less than efficient in this manner

LOVE PETSMART it is the best and umm whenever you need them they come at your rescue to serve you also i think that they have white and grey cats that are shy if they do tell me so i can adopt one

I have been taking my kitten there since we rescued her. Kayleigh is her regular groomer and does such an amazing compassionate job with my kitten always! Kayleigh is a top notch highly professional groomer at the steeles Petsmart location. She even gives tips and tricks on how to handle my kitten whenever we've discussed with her.so happy and always impressed by Kayleigh's positive attitude and helpful nature. Will always return to this grooming location!

Staff there is very friendly and knowledgeable. There is another petsmart closer to me but I enjoy going to this location. The store is also clean and easy to find what I need.

This store is the best one in Brampton.extremely friendly staff and very knowledgeable on items ect. I live closer to the highway 10 and bovaird location and some of the staff have major attitude and try finding a staff member for help.keep up the good work to the steels store

Always has what I'm looking for at a reasonable price. And I usually get to pet at least one person's dog. What more could one ask for?

First time at this location. First staff member did not really help. 2nd staff member was awesome. Customer service is very important.

Always a friendly and welcoming PetSmart to come to. Their location is a little smaller than most, so the selection isn't as great. However, the staff is always friendly and willing to offer help and opinions when needed.

Love the cashiers at this location. They are really polite and tell you about deals and promos. What I am not a fan of is the fact that they are almost always out of stock whenever items go on sale for cats and kittens. Other locations always have plenty of stock, it's only this location. Also, I find that there are a lack of employees available to help shoppers.

Second visit within a week and still don't have the rat food I need after being told it would be in next shipment that was already received, very disappointed.

Absolutely appalled with their store and cashiers. Went in to get my dogs nails trimmed. As I was waiting, I saw 1 cashier coughing and it sounded like a sick cough not a smoker's cough AND another EMPLOYEE WASNT WEARING MASK all the while running around the store.

Absolutely disgusting and highly disappointing. Called head office and they didn't seem to care. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

Been goin here for yrs. The staff are so nice and there is always parking so close by the entrnce. I will always go to this location. My dog gets so happy goin here

Our family just got a new puppy and the staff have been very helpful and friendly. They are making the journey much easier! Everything is organized in the store in a way which allows it be easy to navigate.

Absolutely lost ALL respect for this store. Been shopping here for years. 3 dogs lived happy lives with my purchases here. Now my new puppy will live it's entire life never having anything from this store. They refused to give me service. I phoned the store requesting to purchase items and pay at store via bank card. They politely told me that they ONLY take orders online and would ABSOLUTELY NOT alter their service. So if I don't order online I am out of luck, too bad.

I am giving 5 star be side I am a pet owner. And I love it that you can bring your pets in side, that is so sweet. They have a variety of food brand names and toys, beds for your pets and even clothes for your pet. They have a grooming section and a addition section which are two important parts to a pet stire

I love this place, especially Steph the groomer. Admittedly, my dog is a real handful when it comes to grooming. I don't know how she does it, but Steph makes my dog relaxed, happy, and somehow not hate grooming so much AND she always looks so cute afterwards.

Really like this location. Run by a young woman who really knows her stuff. I always order online and pick up. Kudos for putting up the "fence" around the cats so people won't bang on the habitat and bug them all day long. Poor things. Glad you help to get them adopted.

We were disappointed, we couldn't get a Xlarge size harness for my chocolate lab, other times I've been there was ok, nice store to pet shop.

I could tell they were short staffed when I got there this morning or something was going on which of course happens. I collected my stuff and walked past pet care, listening to an employee teach another how things are set up in petcare & then walked up to the cash and waited for a cashier. Not even 20 seconds later the same young man teaching in petcare came over to cash us out. He was super polite and so nice! I didnt catch his name but he deserves to be recognized, he was getting work DONE!

I've been getting my dog groomed here for years and have always had a great experience. From all of the locations we've visited this is definitely our favourite. We don't have a usual groomer because I find all the girls are great.
