Our go to PetSmart! They have a large selection of pet food and accessories. Our cat is getting older and finicky about his food so there is a great selection of brands to purchase. They have a points system too. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Lots of parking too,

Visited the store 50 minutes before closing time and the staff said they cannot sell fish.

Arlo was simply amazing! Having a puppy for the first time here in Canada was a challenge at first, but Arlo carefully helped my partner and I find all the essentials needed for Kade. She walked us through every aisle and made strong suggestions on what would work vs.what wouldn’t for our breed. It’s safe to say that she was right! The prices here were reasonably priced as well!

That personalized shopping experience will definitely have me coming back over and over again!

They change groomers so often it's like paying roulette. I have taken my dogs for grooming to PetSmart many times and every time the experience has been different. Due to COVID I started grooming our dogs myself. Now that the groomers are open again, I took them to PetSmart. The first appointment at that location was great and everything was normal. We submitted all required documents and there were no complaints. Our dogs are 9lb and 10lb multipoos. Well behaved, everywhere they go from the VET to the groomer to relatives and friends everyone adores them. They don’t bite, snap, or bark. They wag their tails and all they want is love and hugs. This time we took them to this PetSmart location the entire grooming department was rude from drop off to pick up. They were upset because we were 10 min late. Then they got upset because we didn’t have the documentation, but they already had that on file. Then at pick up the all complained that our dogs were sitting too much. They have a strict policy that the dogs can not sit for the hour that they are being groomed. YOUR DOG HAS TO STAND LIKE A STATUE FOR AN HOUR! Our dogs are tiny they can easily put their hand on their belly and they stand. I without any experience or training can groom both of them in 2h. At pick up the groomers told us they will not groom our dogs again and they do not want them back there! Of course, after they took $320 for express grooming. So, unless your dog is very well behaved and can stand up straight and still for an hour, don’t take them there!

Today I had excellent help with positive service with DOROTHY AND DOREEN. They were so kindly helpful and informative. Highly appreciated the help thank you!

No one working there knows anything about the stuff they sell, bunch of kids running around and having fun

They have a wide variety of options for your pets, however I would NOT recommend their Day Care and Overnight Stay services to people. The handlers are not experienced in understanding dog behaviors and will simply put your puppy in a crate for hours if they cannot manage them.

They need to sort out the bugs and consistency if they are offering curb side pick up. Update: 2021. Grooming salon is disorganized and unable to deal with out of the ordinary situations. Store Manager John is of no help when trying to resolve customer concerns. Trying to contact PetSmart head office is next to impossible.

Grooming highly not recommended. They will pressure you to add multiple add-ons threatening that the outcome of the grooming would be very bad without. I had an appointment for 2: 30 but was only greeted 30min later and my dog brought in after 45 min wait. After the grooming is complete they add another $12 special handling charge. Which totals a 33% increase in price from original quoted price. I’ve recorded the interactions and will be taking this to business bureau

New location. I imagine that it's a relocation of the store that was just further North. It's nice and clean and the staff is super helpful! It's always great to catch a furry friend coming down the aisle too.

Has a ton of great pet supplies and very friendly staff. Moved to a new and bigger location so has that much more, including a pet hotel and grooming. Fantastic pet store.

Pet salon is amazing!
My dog is not really into baths but his groomer makes sure he's calm and relaxed while she does the perfect job - every time! That really puts me at ease as well, no worries while he's in her hands.
Weather you need a bath and brush or full grooming you can put your thrust here.
Express service is awesome and rates are really worth it

The place is ok but the service is horrible, there was no one on the floor, and as soon as I saw an employee they'd avoid me and get to the nearest " staff only" door. I had to sneak from behind to get some help and this person was apathetic and didn't even listened to me, in the end she sent me to the cat section when I have a dog. In the end they were the only ones that had what I was looking for and the cashier had a nice attitude that's why I give two stars.

Store was closing soon, no one wanted to help and were extremely rude. I thought I should ask them so that I could leave the store sooner but everyone was dismissive. They also turned off the lights on me right at 7: 00 pm. This is a hazard if you still have customers in your store. Overall, they changed location, not the attitude.

Incredibly well organized. Low on stock due to their move to a new location, but there were lots of team members on the floor to help.

Due to the relocation, most of the store is 30% off currently! The lineup was quick and efficient, and I noticed they had fresh sanitizer available at all cash registers.

I would recommend this Pet Smart and look forward to visiting the new store after the move.

Waited more than one week to get a grooming appointment, and they got canceled right before the appointment. So disappointed.

Impolite employees. They don't smile, they look angry and don't want to help customers. A lot of tension in the air. The cashier with pink hair was the most personable.

I had my labradoodle groomed here by Colleen about a week ago, and I could not be more pleased. She did such an incredible job, and she is so sweet and patient! Will definitely be back here for another groom thanks to Colleen.

I had my 6 month old puppy have her first grooming experience on Sunday June 13th.
Great on line booking process with online check in and a reminder email.
The groomer was sensitive to my puppy's anxiety of this new situation.
Final result was EXCELLENT.
Beautiful looking, lovely scent, nails trimmed and cute little bow added around her neck.
I will happily take my dog for grooming to this Pets mart again.

I have been shopping here for many years.

- For a big box retailer, this location generally has very friendly and helpful staff and fast service.

- During the pandemic curbside pickup has been very fast and courteous

- Prices are OK. This is generally not a discount store, but it's not very expensive compared to most other pet stores.

- Returns are handled really well here. No hassle at all. Purchase with confidence!

Terrible customer service. Rude and unfriendly. Wont let you return product until after the global pandemic. Be careful what you buy here.

This is one really great store. The staff are super, smart and on point. They have everything you could possibly want or need. Even thing you didn’t know you wanted, but let’s face it. It’s not what you want, but everything your fur baby needs.

Julian has trained a number of our dogs over the years, and has taught us how to continue training at home. He is a blessing to dog owners.

If I could rate Petsmart in the negative I would. I changed locations for grooming because of disorganization. I switched over the the Laird location at Eglinton. What a DISASTER. My appointment time was changed 1 day before my appointment. My dog has heart disease but is very healthy. The other location knew and never seemed to be an issue. This location said he was not able to get a cut because he has to be set up for an express groom. I spoke to the store manager and he confirmed. I made arrangements with staff at work to take my shift and cancelled a doctor's appt because I had bring my dogs earlier then I originally booked. They did accommodate me with an appt this coming Monday but again, have to make arrangements at work. I pick up my other dog that got groomed and the price was $72 plus tax. I've ever only paid $64 and was told every location as different pricing? I went online to petsmart.ca and the pricing is $64. My dogs haircut was not what I asked on her face so they had to bring her back in. She comes out again and her tail is matted and she has poo ight below her bum on her fur and her ears were not trimmed properly. This company as a whole is HORRIBLE and if I had the time, I would hire a lawyer for all the mishaps. I've dealt ever dealt with so much incompetent people in one company. Please, if you read this and you truly love your animal, DO NOT bring your animals to petsmart

The person that I had to track down to ask a question had no clue what I was asking very unprofessional and her tone and body language was very rude and disgusting

Such a big store should have more options of dog a apparel, could not find rain coats or any kind of jackets really for my xsmall dog. For treats and food is a good store! Puppy training with Julian is worth it!

Today I went to petsmart to buy some toys for my kitten. Faced multiple issues while billing. At first, he forgot to bill one of the item and then the price of another item was wrongly billed. When I pointed it out he was very rude and asked me to go to another cashier. The second cashier, she was very courteous and helpful. This kind of behaviour is not acceptable for a pet shop employee.

Thankyou for you for correcting the order that got mixed up between stores. Truly appreciate the great customer service! PetSmart is now my go to store. And our puppy Bear says thank you for the extra special treat - he is in love!

If you need a decent price now and not have to wait weeks for aquarium products.this place is the place to go to. I wish they had a bigger selection though.

Large location with a lot of selection. Pricing isn't bad either. Better then petvalue.can it compete with walmart of amazon.maybe if you take advantage of sales and the points system they have. 4.49 stars

Great selection - I was able source a particular brand of cat litter here that I have found to be superior but my local store stopped carrying. Lots of bike parking out front.

Convenient location. A little short staffed. Always dog pee in several locations on the floor. They could do a much better job of keeping the store clean.

Went looking for a cat. They display cats from a local shelter. Love that. Unfortunately didn't find one today but the staff were really nice

Grooming services used be better. Many staff changes in grooming salon and the new staff seems not really interested in their job.from booking you feel how reluctant they are to book an appointment and once I got there they wanted to shave my dog as they said it takes lots of their time to brush/groom her! I thought that what suppose to be done in a grooming salon! Won't go back there for grooming anymore.

My family and i walked out of that store very upset. A lady refused to sell us a small fancy gold fish saying that i can't add another goldfish to my 50 gallon aquarium tank with my 2 loony size gold fish in it because it gonna be crowded. She advises that goldfish can live better in a pond. Personally, i dont think she knows what she is talking about. First of all i dont have a pond and second all i have is a big 50 gallon tank with only 2 healthy gold fish in it for 3 years now.

Went to this location for my kitty today also picked up an extra supply for him I had a good experience in there as the place was inot well good position as well I got to see some cat's today

Dog saloon staff very unfriendly and rude. Late at appointments, yelling at customers. Expensive, lousy and unprofessional service.

The store itself is great with very friendly, helpful staff.
The groomers are a different story. I took my cat there to have her nails clipped a little while ago. Had to wait quite a while even though I had made an appointment. When they finally took her, they cut her and she came back very stressed. While I waited I watched the others. I witnessed a dog being constantly yelled at while being groomed. Overall it was a terrible experience.

1 * for a silly automated voice system instead of being able to reach a live person customers do not have all day to play on the phone!

Was there for cat supplies. The less expensive wet cat food was on sale, however the pricey cat food wet and dry not reduced - expensive. Cat tots and neck bells are expensive. Most of neck bells are quite small my cat while grooming herself got the bell stuch in her teeth I helped get it out. Staff is very polite and helpful.

Great selection and reasonable prices. Regarding food, the store doesn't carry all the brands because some are house brands of competitors or exclusive to vet clinics, however, there are lots of choices. I was able to find a brand of kibble that my picky eater dog will eat with the help of a store clerk. Really like the service here.

A large store with a well sized fish department. Came here to get some decorations for my tank and a couple of algae eaters. I also got a betta fish from here and he's been going strong for almost 2 years now!

I am so disappointed with the grooming services of Petsmart Leaside. First of all they charge you extra if you want to book an appointment on weekends, then when you take your dog they want it clean and if by any chance the poor dog as a tangle then they charge you 20dlls more and let's not forget that if you make any comment about it then your dog pay the price as they treat them bad or if you decide to retract they will never offer the service to you. Where the value for the customer, if I take my dog clean then what I am paying for. It is ridiculous that you end up pay about 100dlls for a small dog grooming service; well known hair dressers do not charge that much, and for sure they don't charge extra if go on weekends. Big companies take advantage of their monopolistic power and the lack of consumer protection regulations, anything related to pets is just becoming more expensive than for persons, should it not be equal.

Another great grooming by Colleen at the Leaside Petsmart! This would be a 5 Star rating if the prices hadn't gone up again. Next time I may cut some of the components of the grooming that I have been doing for Chloe in order to trim the costs a bit.

It's one of the more "staffed" pet smarts I know of. Great people, very friendly. The cash out is always slow. One thing I dont like, they're always asking for donations. I guess it's okay but dont put people on the spot. It's expensive enough taking care of our own rescued pets. And I'm 100% sure the majority of the customers donate to some rescue. I do, to several. Dont ask all the time, maybe once a month.
