Great service by in-house team but dog bandanas were ugly and could not book via the website, which is so irritating. I reported it but the geek told me it was user error (even though the screenshot attached showed it was not). This is the only reasons it wasn't rated as highly as it could've been.

This is the worst Petsmart I have ever been.

I asked the staff questions about buying a filter fit for my 2.5 G tank, which is ideal for my fish.

The staff started saying usually fish need more room, they don’t like fish live in that small tank.

BUT I bought the fish tank just from the same store, if you really care about your fish then don’t selling items like this! Instead of “teaching” me what to do after I already buy the tank, and make me feeling like I am not taking care of my fish.

Finally I found the filter from the same brand with my tank up to 5 G, which is ideal for my fish as well.

Such a useless help. Only make customer feel bad and not getting something I really want.

Always feels nice to be here whenever picking up pet food. Convenient pick up option when ordering online. Friendly customer service being greeted. If you get lucky, you may see some kitty cats. There are also small fishies too on display.

I tried calling to book a grooming for my dog but no one answers the phone whenever I get transferred to the grooming department so I end up booking it online. I took a day-off work because I want to get it done the soonest. I went on the day of his grooming appointment on October 16 at 10am only to find out that they will not do him because they said my dog is matted. He is only matted on the ear but not even heavily matted. A guy spoke to me saying this is their policy. If this is your policy, you should have included it in the bunch of questions you got when you pre check-in your pet. It even say there that the charge depends on the fur condition. What does that mean? But it doesn’t say that if your pet is matted, they will not groom your pet. So disappointed!

The worker that was in the live animal part was wearing so much cologne that it was so inappropriate for a pet store. The whole store was invaded with the overpowering scent. I like a good smelling cologne or perfume. However, with the amount this young boy had in was completely unacceptable in any workplace, let alone a pet store

It is quiet good place. Great selections. The only downside I find is that like any big store there are not enough knowledgeable staff around to help you but overall the store is great and highly recommend it.

Manager attitude very poor. Have been buying here few years. Return a cat snack because smells bad. Which we have been buying same brand in years. She gave attitude said never happen and we should go somewhere to buy.

I've been keeping fish for over 40 years. I was told by an employee that platies need a minimum 30 gal tank even though the undersized platies at petsmart show that they were mistreated and not allowed to grow to their full potential. Platies are supposed to be 2-3 inches when mature, but these were not even an inch. Not only that, they were being kept in 10 gallon tanks in overcrowded conditions. I understand that most people are not as fish literate as I am, and I have my fish in a large enough tank, but why point this out if you arent going to care for your fish properly at the store.

I've been here multiple times in the past and have had very positive experiences every visit. The staff is friendly and approaches you proactively to ask if you need any help. Checking out is also efficient and hassle free.

Really low stock on wet cat food. Luckily they had plenty of my brand (Nutro) but the shelves were practically bare for other brands.

This is the best location I’ve been to.
The staff is extremely helpful and friendly.
Been coming to this one for a few years now and have never been disappointed or had a bad experience.
Dani is by far their best associate, she provides exceptional customer service.
She knowledgeable about so many different animals and is always giving helpful advice about animal care, behavioural issues and products.

We have had the pleasure of purchasing our pet supplies, the staff is extremely helpful if you have a question about your pet or the products they are always happy to help or find the answer for you.

Danny in the Aquatic section has always approached us and asked if we needed help. Anytime I have had concerns about our fish tank or betta tank she has been a wealth of information. Thanks Danny we appreciate you!

Over all the staff is beyond helpful with calling other stores or explaining information you need to know about suppliers, products and services.

The customer service here is amazing. I love coming here with my puppies. They were recently attacked by a pitbull so they bark at other dogs out of fear now, and petsmart didnt mind. Always feel welcome and customer service is awesome.

I am a recent dog owner, and it was my first time scheduling and booking a groomer at Pet Smart. Before attending my appointment, I viewed Pet Smart's website and sent an e-mail regarding information about the grooming salon to ensure that I had all the necessary documents. However, upon arrival and providing all the records asked of, they denied giving me service! Unfortunately, they NOW do not accept the stickers on the immunization record as a form of paperwork for rabies, to which I had and was not informed of the changes on either their website and e-mail. What also did not make sense was that they acknowledge that my puppy was still only 5 months old, yet they needed to see his expiration date for rabies on his certification when it would not be for another year for his rabies booster and it would have been clearly visible on the rabies vaccine sticker since the all the information is on it. They asked me to reschedule and provide the proper documents for that appointment, but that would have been avoided if they were more informative in the beginning. I wasted my energy and time, and I do not plan to waste my money on a place with incompetent service. If giving 0 stars was an option, that would be my rating for Pet Smart's grooming salon.

The staff here is so knowledgable and understanding, I felt like as a first time pet owner, I could ask any question no matter how stupid I thought the question was and I was always treated with respect and care.

I've been back many times since and have every intention to go back for more.

Been coming here for a while now but today I wasn’t impressed with the cashier she acted like I was holding up the line when it was their fault that their sale items were not priced properly they had reduced prices but they were coming up full price when I went to go solve the matter with the lady down the aisle and then came back the cashier acted like I held up the line.wasn’t really impressed with her and she was training someone and the trainee was actually very apologetic Due to the price problem. I don’t know with an attitude like that I might just go somewhere. The door guy was really friendly and even the lady who help me solve the issue with the reduced price matter but the cashier rub me the wrong way! That is all.

This location is great! It's a bit busier but the staff are super friendly and super helpful. We had questions to ask regarding our dog's grooming and the staff were kind enough to answer our questions even though they were already done services for the day.

I typically shop at smaller box pet stores but PetSmart had specifically what I wanted so I headed on over. I brought my puppy with me because well who goes to a pet store without their pet? (I suppose taking your fish for a walk might not actually work.) Anyway, we were greeted by all staff members and my puppy made many friends that day. Store was clean, organized and exactly what you would expect.

Bad service! Worst customer service I have ever had. I booked the grooming appointment 1 month ahead and get a call from them that they need to reschedule my appointment to 2 weeks later. Because they squeezed another appointment in! This is totally unfair! Like what kind of store would do this to their customers? I can imagine how unfair they will treat my dog. I would say don’t ever book appointment with this store again!

One of the original petsmart locations in the GTA. Located inside Kennedy Commons plaza on the southeast corner of Kennedy and the 401. Has a segregated training area albeit small. Also has a fish, reptile, small animal section. The store is showing its age and needs a bit of sprucing up but still has all you need for your pet.

I come here here for all my pet supplies. Quick and easy order online and drive out for curbside pickup. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Come here if you want a better selection and higher quality of products for your pet than your regular supermarket. Location is great right in Kennedy Commons plaza right off the 401 for East and west access.

Brought our dog in for grooming service and not only was it very busy and chaotic, but more concerningly, he had razor burns on areas of his back. Very disappointed and upset with the grooming services. Will not be returning.

Very mediocre customer service. I had my puppy classes booked here and the trainer had to cancel due to personal reasons. I showed up with my pup at the time of the class without having being notified of the cancellation. When I get there I find that apparently the trainer attempted to call me with a random number that did not read Pet Smart and did not leave a voicemail or send an email. For something as major as cancelling a series of puppy classes I would think you would leave a voicemail, especially if you are calling from a number that does not show where you are calling from.

I've been shopping at this location since 2000 and though the staff has changed, the customer service hasn't. I get very good service here and staff are helpful and knowledgeable.

First time ordering and picking up an item from this location. I ordered during boxing week for the discount but couldn't pick it up until a week later so I called to let them know to prevent then from cancelling my order and it was super easy to do so. When I went to pick up my one item, the staff were reasonably quick in retrieving my item to give to me and I guess I understand the purpose of putting things in bags for neatness, but I really did not need a plastic bag for a single item. Wish they had just slid the order form into the edge of the box and handed me the box to reduce plastic waste but I can see other people having an issue with that. With curbside pickups, it'd be awesome to see the online ordering system have a section to ask if we want things in a bag and we can select yes or no bag if we are purchasing less than 3 items to cut down on plastic waste. Overall pretty good experience with my item and staff friendliness.

Been here few times and in fact bought my two fishtank from here, I met some friendly Asian staffs, but on 15-04-2017 around 6pm I had the worst experience, the staff was a white girl with a brown curly hair, was really rude, and excellent example for a bad staff, I have no idea why she is even working there.while She is around in that store, the pets smart will have to shut it down soon.she will bring the business down, bad staff is bad to the store. I infact feel sorry for her boyfriend if she has one. I don't even know if I will ever go there again becouse of her. They don't know how to treat the staff.but there are good staff as well, this is just my bad experience there, on this particular day.

Went to a puppy training class. The instructor, Cass, was fantastic. Great class, great store associates, who also take part in the training by helping the puppies learn how to meet and greet with good manners.

Didn't get what I wanted; not the store's fault, but I learnt something new and thought of adding it as a review.

My little one has been asking for a bunny or a puppy. I've been living out of province and just returned back to Toronto. I remember seeing all sorts of pets (bunnies, puppies, cats, etc) at the Pet Store at Scarb town centre many years ago. I was disappointed to learn that its no longer there. After seeing images of fish and reptiles, and some dogs too, from Petsmart (Kennedy Commons), I figured we should head there.

But there were only few birds, guinea pigs, hamsters (?), and fish. Much of the store has pet supplies and food. I learnt that due to new regulations in the province, pet stores are no longer allowed to sell cats or dogs. You need to get them from the breeder itself. Many (if not all) pet stores don't carry rabbits either since they get sick very easily and vet bills for the pet store is too high.

Took my shitzu in for her apt at 5pm. Groomer was “on break” until 5: 30. Didn’t mind waiting, just browsed the store. Took her back in at 5: 30 and left. I waited until 7: 30 and didn’t hear anything. I called a couple times until someone finally answered the phone and they told me they still hadn’t got to her yet. By 8: 30 I called again and was told she was almost finished. I went into the store by 8: 45 and my dog was on the table still being groomed. By 9: 00 she was finally “done”. Her hair was so uneven, nails were not all cut and she did not smell like she even had a bath. Super disappointed with the service and lack of professionalism. I payed for a full service groom (hair cut, bath and nails)
On top of all this my dog is now traumatized from whatever happened to her during this visit and has a very hard time with other groomers now. Will NEVER go back again.

Very disappointed with grooming service.they kept my dog for almost 5hrs and service was not completed ask me to come back my dog was stressed out and lost his appetite and looks so unhappy. Spending $114 is not worth it and now I have to spend more to visit my Vet coz my dog is still stressed out.

Worst employees I ever seen in my life. I walked in 5 mins. Before they closed to buy a food for my dog, 4 employees telling me they are closed in 5 mins with angry face. You need to hire someone who can smile and say bye when you leave before losing time. No one greet and no one says have a good day or thank you. This is the worst place i ever walk into and i was there customer since 8 years ago. This place need to change to positive way.

The grooming salon is a joke. They can’t seem to keep a decent groomer there. The people who work there are nice, but you can tell they are not trained properly and produce amateur grooms. I have been coming to this location for many years and they used to have wonderful groomers but the changeover in staff in the past couple years is unbelievable. Everytime I find a groomer I like there, they end up leaving. Now I see the new salon manager is a trainee herself. I won’t be using this grooming salon anymore, I’d rather travel to one of the locations the groomers I like transferred to.

Staff are always friendly and available. Store is large and usually well stocked. Prices are better than the other pet stores in the area (I won't mention their names, but if you guessed you'd probably be right). It;s my go-to for quite a few of my pet supplies - we have a lot of pets!
