Such a great experience. This was my dog first grooming experience and everybody did a great job to make sure Leo was comfortable. He was returned looking great and was a very happy dog.

We are always greeted when we enter this location. The staff are friendly especially the cashiers.

It’s my daughter’s favourite place to go visit her furry friends. She’s looking to contribute to this place during summer before schools starts again.

I’m giving 2 stars because the actual staff for the front of the store are great. I have an issue with the grooming staff. I’ve never used Petsmart for grooming because I’ve seen/heard how terrible they are but my dog was desperate for a nail trim since he had missed his grooming appointment in May due to family issues. I had a mobile groomer coming to my house at the end of the month to get him back on schedule but he really needed his nails done. I called & the automated prompt tells you that nail trimming, ear cleaning etc are walk in services. I spoke with someone in the groomer just to make sure and she also confirmed I did not need an appointment. I walked in at 4pm to ask for a nail trim and was told that they didn’t have anyone until 5pm that go do a nail trim. I’m sorry, what? How is that possible? You offer it as a walk in but don’t have anyone for an hour to do it? This is false advertisement & I was not impressed

Booked online and indicated that my dog had a heart murmur. When I arrived for my appointment the manager indicated that they would have to process as an “express” due to corporate policy and could not accommodate same day. Two issues, one the website should have flagged the fact that an “express” was required due to heart murmur and second the manager was totally inflexible and
Unaccommodating. I was willing to return with my dog to adhere to corporate policy express policy and have him bathed, she declined.
Worst customer service ever experienced with Pet Smart staff, will not be returning to this location due to mangers attitude.

Horrible people you should change your moto from pet friendly to PET BOLLY, my son had been dropping my dog COCO off of grooming all the time, but this time cuz she couldn't get an appointment earlier because it was so busy there was extra work for them, so they found an excuse that he was under 18 and he could not sign for the waiver I asked my wife she'll be there she got there in 20 minutes and they completely refuse to accept her LEAVING A DOG AND STRESS THE SHAME ON YOU PEOPLE

Meh! I believe they are under staffed all the time! I’ve seen their staff exhausted, of course I had to wait a long time for my questions to be answered.

The privacy policy pop up on your website is annoying. Probably you’re loose some business to Amazon without knowing! Whoever is managing your online presence is not doing a great job.or at least pay half.

I booked a last minute groom and when getting there my dog didn’t react, which made groomer scared. They were saying how my dog can possibly be aggressive. Told me I would have to sedate my dog in order to have groomed. I took him a few days later to another groomer, they were saying how happy and well behaved he was. Not coming here again.

You can tell the uneasiness of anyone who’s unwilling to help you because you’re not wearing PPE.

I will never go to this or any other petsmart because of this experience. I went in to buy some fish. The place was full of barking dogs and all the attendants were too preoccupied to assist customers. After some searching I couldn't find the fish I came there for. However I did see a lot of dead ones! One tank had 13. I got out of there into the quiet never to return. You couldn't pay me to take their fish.

It was nice to see different dogs with their owners shopping. We visited the pets like fish, hamsters, and the adopt a pet section.

I LOVE this place most of their employees are absolutely great at there jod and are full of answers. Now some of the stuff can be a little pricey and you will be paying for one of the best quality for your animal (s)
They have lots of clothes, collars, food, ect for your pet

I bought my dog for paw pedicure from a different store but after 5 mins they said they can’t do it because my dog was too strong to do the service. So after 2 weeks I decided to bring him to this store and surprisingly the girl did the service and she was even able to put a scarf on him. For sure I will always go here for my dog grooming. Thank you for the excellent service.

Cheaters. They gave a duplicate receipt for my purchase and when I went to return the products I purchased earlier, they said that receipt is not valid.

What a lovely experience it was today with my bunny at petsmart. I came with my boy bunny last time and came with my girl, my girl hopped on me but was really loved and cared for by the staff. The manager was absolutely sweet and loved my bunny like her own. So glad to see such amazing people. Been my favourite and closest petsmart since years and lately the experience been amazing? Thank you for showing so much love to my babies

Not happy with the grooming salon.first time I went with my puppy the groomer was really nice and very nice to my puppy.but I went there again today and the lady was very rude and said my puppy who is nine months bit her and refused service. I thought the groomers are trained to handle pets better.

I’ve been coming to this store from almost 4 years The reason I’m writing this review is because today I went to exchange 90oz hay that I got for my bunnies I got 4 packs but I opened one and it was not good. My bunnies were not eating it so I called before hand so they know I’m coming in to exchange. This Male worker I think was the manager helped me out and he refunded me for all 4 bags instead of 3; Which was absolutely respected, sweet and kind of him. I hope he reads this, Virtual hugs for him! He let me exchange the hay and get anything I want. I was left with 12$ that the store had to return and I decided to take one more thing for my bunnies. Honestly need more people like him. Thank you

Brought my dog here and paid $70 for grooming. Once I got my dog back I realized they didn’t even cut a cm off his hair and he still had multiple deep knots all over his body. When I contacted the store they told me that they were told not to cut any hair off at all. Who would pay $70 for only a bath for 5 pound toy poodle? When I asked them if they could atleast fix this, she told me to pay $60… so ridiculous.
I would not come here again!

Worse experience for me and puppy! I got rescheduled twice on my third and final appointment the price was much higher. Ok no problem, but after almost 4 hrs of my puppy being there she came out with bold scissors marks. Genitals weren't trimmed at all, she had so many missed spots. I cant say I would recommend this specific location. My puppy came out scared and was edgy for a couple days after.

I love this location! The staff is amazing, Professional and super friendly! They really care to see you and ur fur baby happy, the trainers are also very friendly and educated! The grooming just exceeded my expectations! They really know what they are doing, super friendly and highly recommend their services! **jen and the rest of the team from grooming was AMAZING**

This place is redicilous Ryan at cash had me litterlly wait for 10 minutes while he was flirting with a girl trying to get her number like completely ignoring the fact my stuff is sitting there and I am waiting to check out

They are displaying fish in small plastic cups. The fish can barely move in there. Some are already dead. So sad. The mice have no clean water to drink and their running wheel is full of dried feces. Obviously it doesn't get cleaned! I'm so disgusted by what I saw today, I will never set foot in that place again. I have owned mice, hamsters and guinea pigs so I do know what it takes to take care of them.

My 4months old Pomzu got first grooming done today. He got the worst hair cut on his face and his body hair was not trimmed. His brother got grooming at petsmart downtown Toronto. He got a beautiful hair cut. This location has worst pet grooming.

Susan is that rare kind of pet groomers who genuinely enjoy their job. It's evident from the smile on her face, warmth and affection for pets, that clearly shows. We have been grooming our dog at this location for many years and She is truly an asset to pet smart. Keep up the good work Susan!

All groomers and staff at this location are so wonderful and pleasant, we've been coming here for almost 10 years. Victoria in particular always does an amazing job on Teddy. Though he is generally an anxious dog, he loves seeing her and feels very comfortable with her. She always makes Teddy look adorable after his visit!

Would not recommend puppy training classes from here, especially if you've got energetic puppy breeds! The trainer (Leah) was not helpful and would tell us to take our dog outside or send us home if he was misbehaving and essentially waste the hour that we PAID for for the 6 classes and wouldn't make up for a few days. The makeup classes she did provide would also be cut short again. The one day my puppy missed because he was incredibly sick, she offered a makeup class and I told her I want to wait until he's better and finishes his medications (he was still super sick (ER visits, on heavy medications you name it) and get back to her on which days to do the makeup class, but of course I was not refunded or given the makeup class for that missed day. I ended up asking for a refund because I was so frustrated and disappointed with the whole experience and she only offered to refund the last 2 remaining classes when my puppy was barely there to attend the other 4 classes for the full hour we paid for (again he would be sent home early or asked to go outside for a walk. We did follow with the booklet that was given to us the same tips and practiced them with our pup but its different when you can actually go and learn them with the trainer so she can show us how it's done.that's the whole reason we pay for these puppy training classes). The refund process was also horrible because she said she said her manager would call and issue the refund but I waited almost two weeks and got no call for a refund. I ended up going to Petsmart and letting another manager know (who was not aware about any refund) and he processed it for me. All in all, I was very disappointed and frustrated by this whole experience and shall never come back for training from here!

The staff are amazing! I had a wonderful experience with Daria who was very helpful with exceptional professionalism! She was thorough and detailed, with lots of information on guinea pigs. This is definitely the best pet store I have seen, great service!

Though I prefer to shop in store, I appreciated that during these lockdowns, I was able to order online what I needed and within 3 hours, pick it up at the curb. Store employees were extremely helpful and very pleasant. Will gladly come back to this store.

A straight long haired girl told me that they do not sell live animals after 8: 00pm. What kind of rule was she talking about? I do believe she did not want to help me to scoop fishes. Very unfriendly service!

Cashier and Manager did next to nothing to assist when PetSmart Authority Brand Dog food was recalled, yet shelves were full stocked with item. I had to look up replacement myself as manager did not want to take the time to help.

Came in for a first time grooming appt for my lil shihpoo with Molly.
I am very pleased with the service Molly gave to my lil guy. She was soft spoken, caring and compassionate. Will definitely be booking with her again!

I can't say much about the small animals, birds and reptiles because I don't really look at that area but I can talk about the fish care, variety, ect. I come here to get betta fish, supplies and tanks. I have to agree with another review I saw that they don't have a lot of variety or well known brands with good ingredients if you want a specific type of food for fish. They have good selection on fish treats though, like freeze-dried insects or frozen insects. The employees are very knowledgeable. They told me the correct gallons for a betta fish (5 gallons) and the importance on cycling a fish tank. The fish tanks on the walls aren't overstocked or at least when I come they aren't overstocked and the fish don't seem to have parasites and are healthy. Most of the tanks are clean except the comet goldfishes, I often find a bunch of them dead in the tank. The betta cups are clean and the bettas are always lively and active. I have yet to see a dead betta in a cup. I can't seem to always find specific types of tails even though the website say they're in stock but I don't mind. Out of all the Petsmart stores I saw this one has the healthiest fish and cleanest tanks. Highly recommend.

Very bad customer service, I booked my dog for grooming online but I did’nt received any confirmation even call to remind. I tried to contacted them a week before the appointment but they said they are busy, they aasked me to leave my number and they will call me back. After 4 days thats no call I called them again to check and comfirm but the lady in reception passed my 3x to groomming but still no answer.waiting for long time for nothing, bad bad customer service.

Bad service. It was the worst location which I had went in Ontario. The staff just standing beside me and waiting me to put the boxes into my truck. Oh my god. Just let me leave my little baby in my car seat. I was so angry and ask she why you don’t help me just standing? She said I should be take by myself. And she began slowly to put only one box. Is there no training before they begin to work in this location store? Please start today.

Fantastic staff at this location they honored a coupon that was outdated due to the fact that the store was closed and I really appreciated it

I come here for betta fish and their supplies. The betta fish here are always super healthy and active. I know pet stores get a bad rep for keeping bettas in cups but whenever I come here there is a decent amount of bettas. I notice they started selling them younger and smaller. Not too many but enough to have variety to choose from. The water in the tanks and betta cups are always clean and clear. When I go to get fish supplies I rarely find dead fish. They don't have many fish foods to choose from. If you want a specific food for a certain type of fish you might only have 1 or 2 choices. From my experience at least.

Horrible customer service.
I ordered an item online that showed as In Stock at this location. My order was cancelled without an explanation within the hour.

On calling the store, the store clerk rudely stated she is busy with curbside pickup to call back later and was unable to check inventory to see if the item was available as shown online.

None of the points used in the transaction were credited back to the account.

No one around to ask a question to and the broad at the register double charged me for an item. I bought 2 cans and a bag of chinchilla food.dont know how u can ring it in put it down and re grab it and charge again.

Pet smart has always been there when i was in need. This location is one of my favorites to go to. All the staff our helpful and friendly. My baby (puppy) is a picky eater and for months id come and get new raw foods for her. She finally feel in love with the Fresh stuff in the fridge. (Forgot the name)

My 14yr old baby past away yesterday morning.she enjoy her last meal for sure! RIP Leela!

Will never go back, my pet was bleeding from his paw when i picked him up. Made a complaint and it took several days before the regional manager got back to me.

Staff is always friendly, always helpful. They have answers to all your questions, and if they domt know.they'll find out.

Everything is available for pet's. Big store with big parking. All basic things available like pet food, pet grooming.

PetSmart was just fabulous we were cleaning a house and found a big angelfish in the toilet I guess the previous owners were trying to flush it down the toilet brought it to PetSmart able to give us some food very courteous very concerned about the fish told us how to best take care of it. Everyone was so surprised and concerned about the angelfish. And then bought the right food for the angelfish just fabulous service

The staff is friendly and helpful. The store is clean and well stocked. Treats, kisses and hugs down every isle for my little pooch <3. Grooming wait time is a lot and although my dog came back looking very pretty she also looked stressed and unlike herself.took her almost 2 weeks to get back to her normal self. I'm not sure what caused her the stress, haircut and nails etc was done where I could see her and it was all good.anyway we never went back for grooming. This was almost a year ago.low score solely based on my dog's stress level.

If I could give a negative 5. I would for sure. I dropped off our pet for a quick groom and a simple wash only to find out that almost 2 hours later he had only been washed and left wet in the cage to wait for another hour and half before he could even start being groomed. I picked up our pet 2 hours and 30 min later having only having done a simple wash, his nails clipped, ears improperly cleaned, NO facial and NO sanitary grooming. Worst pet service ever: (

I place my order on line and they get it ready for me. I have a very hungry cat so I am there often. They even know me by name. I take the Grandkids with me and they can browse the store. Very friendly and helpful workers.

I love going to this store to buy things for my dog. Always great service there especially from one of the girls that works there-Robyn. She's very nice and knowledgeable. Always smiling and laughing and so good and gentle with the animals and makes the shopping experience awesome! Thank you Robyn for being great!

You can always take the pet food back if your dogs don't like it with a picky animal it could cost you a lot more somewhere else

I always have a pleasant experience when I bring my dog Bella to get groomed! Victoria G is my dogs groomer and she always does a fantastic job. I feel comfortable and safe leaving my Bella with her, and I can see that my Bella likes her too!

Even though I live closer to Barrie. This is my go to location! My dog starts crying as we enter the parking lot. His favourite store.

The fish are being kept in terrible condition. Beta fish are kept in jars that are 2 inches in diameter and are barely moving, if at all. It's inhumane and needs to be addressed immediately.

My dog took classes here and its my go-to location for everything. They have very kind and helpful staff. Always a returning customers due to their great customer service.

If there was an option to give 10 stars or repeated reviews, I would have done that.
I would say SUSAN the grooming salon manager is a strong asset to Pet Smart.
She is simply THE BEST.

I was happy with the service at this store. Someone asked if I needed help and found my dry dog food that I needed. I always have a hard time finding my brand. Not every store is laid out in the same way.

Friendly, helpful and clean store.they were not stocked with what we wanted however called a sister store to get them to hold one for us. Kudoos!

It was pretty empty. The only pets I saw was cats, fish and lots and lots of decorations, food for pet. So you already own a pet you be okay with what's in the store. If your trying to get a pet you might be dissapointed or not because they only have cats, fish, a few reptiles, hamster, mouse and a few birds.

The fish tanks were very dirty and most of the goldfish were dead or dying! This is CRUELTY to animals and this shouldn't be allowed!
Also the Betta fishes were kept in really tiny containers. The recommended minimum tank size for Betta Fish should be at least 2.5 gallons or larger. To be honest, a 5 gallon is likely the best size tank for Betta Fish.

It is a well organized store and the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. It is regular place for the grooming of our puppy. I like the fact the groomong area is spacious. The variety in food is good. I wish they had a day care and they wouldn't take more than 3 hours for grooming, especially as it is quite a distance from my place.

Love it there customer service was so great i made 2 trio less than 2 days in getting my animals and there needed very excellent well done

The adoption center is so rude and insulting wouldn't approve me because I recently retired. As the lady put it they were afraid the cat would be homeless if I died.

Reps are courteous and knowledgeable.the store is clean and very organized.no bad odors.this is our "go-to" PetSmart.

Great staff knowledgeable and friendly, just sometimes low in inventory and customers also nice with cute babies:)
