We just had our kitty's claws trimmed. They are very nervous and anxious around new people. The ladies were fantastic with them. The groomer who did the trimming was so kind and gentle, I've never seen Molly so relaxed.especially while getting her nails done. Both cats did great thanks to the environment and staff. Two words. Cat whisperer! Wonderful experience! Thank you so much, see you in 6 weeks.

Fish keeper here. Fish section workers were knowledgeable and friendly, and will attempt to coax you away from fish you aren’t ready for or able to take care of (and that’s a good thing! Maintaining a healthy tank requires a returning customer!)
however, the sale of clown loaches, pictus catfish, Oscars and more is irresponsible on the part of such a general store. Leave that to specialized stores where staff are specifically trained to know that even a 1 inch fish like a clown loach will eventually require a 100 gallon tank. Thankfully these staff appear to know better, but if they’re off shift…
Overall though, not the worst fish I’ve seen at a PetSmart, wide selection, comparatively healthy tanks. Three point five stars.

Took my dog to have his nails trimmed and get a bath. Both things he fights me on, but they seem to be dog whisperers at PetSmart and they were able to gain his cooperation immediately. Happy with the service and the grooming staff, who truly seem to love the animals they are working with.

Friendly helpful staff, huge selection of varied products for various types of pets, clean store that has easily reached displays and very well labeled isles.

Was just a quick in and out for a bag of dog food but just had to stop and look at the beautiful betas they have in. Sooo tempting lol

Purina Pro Plan Weight Management Shredded for adult dogs is a myth!
I can get this in any other town and tomorrow going to Ottawa and will get what I need.
Its pathetic to run out of "any" food!
Get it together PetSmart or fire the manager.

Petsmart has everything you could need for your pet EXCEPT a pets hotel feature which I think should be standard at all petsmart.
We loved the pets hotel at the Ottawa petsmarts and wish so badly we had that offered here in Kingston.
Please look into that, as we would use that almost daily. Otherwise 5 stars.

Kingston manager Maddie went above and beyond for us when our aquarium blew out a bottom seal. Absolutely wonderful person to deal with, we are so appreciative of how she helped us resolve everything! Thank you Petsmart Kingston team!

We started with a Puppy package training class. It included 3 different levels of training sessions each building in the last with appropriate breaks in between. We were able to space it out to accommodate our needs. Our trainer is Rob. From the first time we came in with a puppy (after not having one for 15 yrs), he helped show us what we needed, what we didn’t, and how to start training her until she was old enough to start the classes. He took time throughout each session to check in with those in the class to address any concerns or struggles we may have had during the week. Rob really loves animals and can help us owners tune in to the best way to train them. His goal is for us to have a great life with our forever dog! Our pup recently completed her advance level and we are returning for more advanced classes that focus on a bit of everything, therapy, scent work, and agility. The classes are great bond building with your pup and we will continue throughout her growth as she just loves attend her training sessions there with Rob!

Always have what I'm looking for easy parking and great staff also they accept using afterpay online when purchasing which helps very much

Went in to adopt a hamster for my 8 yest old. Knew the basics of what we needed but recieved some assistance from a staff member regarding what we really needed to make him happy.

My daughter has named him Taco.

Went for cat litter, way better prices than Amazon, ten to twenty dollars difference, even beat Walmart.

Bought fish for our 55 gallon aquarium. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Checkout was fast, efficient and friendly.

Don't bring your pet here for grooming, these drop outs have no clue what they are doing. My friend brought my small dog there for grooming while I was at work.my dog was nervous and whiny, they didnt even finish the job and banned my dog from going there again lol avoid taking your pet to these dropouts

Always have great sales on Aquarium filters and pumps etc, with a great selection to choose from.

I wish this petsmart in Kingston would get larger shipments of fish and more frequently. I hate going into the petsmart seeing some of the fish tanks with no fish for weeks. The other PetSmart in Belleville seem it be able to get more fish in their shipments than Kingston it seems. I don’t want to drive all the way to Belleville and back to buy fish.

We have been attending Puppy classes and we are so grateful to Rob the instructor. We have learned so many helpful tools for training our 6 month old puppy. Rob goes above and beyond to help you with any questions or concerns you may have, goes the extra mile. We are doing the intermediate classes now.

Recently got shouted at by an employee when I was looking at the fish and my dog looked at the small animals (quietly and calmly) from 2-3ft away. The employee said to get my dog away from the small animals and not to let my dog look at them because it really stresses the animals out… I ended up leaving but honestly if your small animals get stressed by dogs and people looking at them, it may be best to not have them displayed perhaps? Or even sell them… I was admittedly very shocked, I have never been shouted or spoken to about my dogs or other customers dogs looking at the rodents before, I guess it’s considered a serious issue now

My little 14 week old "Pacino" boy had so much fun looking around Pet Smart Gardiner's Road for a new toy, he just could not decide so he tried fitting 4 toys in his mouth.he could not contain his excitement, he was bouncing and jumping in circles.he had to run up to all the employees to show them his new toys.or should I say bragging about his new toys by pushing them in their face.
He just about had a stroke when I took the toys from him so the gentleman could ring them through, he was about. 3 secs from having a full on meltdown.but he was even happier when he was offered one of his most favourite treats from the cashier (Tid Bits). It felt like taking a human child to Toys R Us, and the staff were incredible! Easiest 5 stars ever!
