Visited the grooming station and was pleased with the service.

Only feedback is to have a bigger sign for grooming area vs.boarding area.

Love this location and we were fortunate enough to meet Daryl beside the hamsters cage. Daryl, a very knowledgeable and bright gentleman was very informative and gave us excellent advice on how to comfort our dying Hammie who sadly passed away. Daryl’s honest opinion and information made Hammies last days very comfortable. I truly appreciate Daryl’s help and his knowledge. I wish that there were more knowledgeable employees like Daryl who can guide their customers when choosing a pet. I give Daryl 10 stars for being awesome and very knowledgeable in his field. Awesome

I took my 4 month old cockapoo pup to the PetSmart heartland location, and both my pup and I had a traumatic experience. I booked an 'introductory' grooming session, which claimed to involve 'introducing' your pup to the whole concept of grooming - getting familiar with equipments, etc. From the get-go, none of that happened. He was put on a leash and taken to the back and put in a crate and only came out after an hour and a half (I know because I was still in the store). I gave them the benefit of he doubt and thought they knew what they were doing since it's their job. Boy, was I wrong. No attempt to desensitize or make my pup comfortable. (don't call it introductory if you think that's not an essential part). I specifically told the groomer to call if he shows signs of stress. She said "yes that's how we prefer it too. We will stop all services if the dog is stressed". I stood there and watched them ignore all signs of discomfort. Until he started to snap at the groomer. I still gave them the benefit of the doubt because the groomer did not seem concerned and was chatting away, head turned in another direction, talking to her colleagues. I walked away because I was in his view and didn't want to stress him out more. When I came back, he had a cone around his neck. I walked in and the groomer huffed and puffed about how she's never had to come a pup before and how he showed her "teeth like he meant it". She accused me of hiding such behavioural information from her (mind you, I had never heard him growl let alone show me teeth). Her colleague then proceeded to say "put him back on the table and show her how he behaves". She was willing to put my dog under that stress just to prove her point, when I did not even defend him. I was listening to them the entire time because I was shocked. They labelled him aggressive and I was so shocked that I APOLOGIZED. But the matter of fact is, my pup was stressed the entire time, but because he did not show 'fear' in a typical manner (pee, poo vomit on the table) his reactions were taken as aggression.
Don't have an 'introductory' grooming session if you don't have the patience, skills or attitude for it. Simple as that.

Took my dog there and left for a few hours while I ran some errands and visited family. Amanda was an amazing employee that truly made you feel listened to and respected, deserves a raise. Will definitely be bringing my dog here again when needed.

I dropped off my 3 year old and 13 year old. I booked them for the night with a homecoming bath; when I went to pick them up they told me they couldn't give my 13 yrs old a bath because she couldn't stand up straight! When I questioned them on the fact that I go to my neighborhood petsmart to get the groomed every month.they told me pet hotel is different. You know what that's fine but in that case tell me before hand that your pet hotel staff are attendants NOT groomers!

I always go to this store to buy products for my pet, first time ever I have experienced a rude and very disappointing customer service, She spoke to me and my husband very rudely when we asked her for a min as we were selecting a Christmas clothing for my pet, she started whispering to her colleague something which after hearing I still ignored but while doing the transaction I asked her if I could get an email receipt, she turned back to me and said you should told me in the beginning, I told her the transaction is not even done yet and I asking her if she could still do it, she started giving me very weird angry looks which was very disappointing, seemed like she was doing us a favour by cashing us out.

DISAPPOINTED! My dog has separation anxiety and I told the staff about it beforehand. Last weekend was his 3rd visit and they Red Flagged him saying that it was a tough job for us to get him inside the crate. The employee who called me was the head of staff for Dog Day Care and she said that I don't want to put my team at risk.

When I confronted her at the store, I asked her, "did my dog show any aggressive behavior? ", to which she replied, "No, but it was a hassle for us to put him in the crate, we almost choked him to get him inside".

She added, "We will not take your dog until you crate train him. " I mean are they so lethargic that instead of providing an alternative, they just don't want him in the facility?

Went to purchase products for a new kitten, but could not get any help from floor staff. Fortunately, there was a a nice person behind the grooming booking desk that provided us some help.

Had un opened canned food for my kitten.didn't have the receipt for it but because I have the perks card they looked it up for me on the system. Had to return the food because my cat was allergic to it.took it back no problem and gave me the refund on my card.great service

The heart land location has this crazy old man there who has serious issues and yells and scare the customers away. He tell you that your not taking his hamsters home unless you listen to him this guy has problems and something needs to be done about him

The cat adoption here is one of the best you can find, so, if you're looking for a cat, this is a great place to look. Note that the cat adoption is NOT run by PetSmart but rather Paws and Tails. Shirley, who runs Paws and Tails, does an amazing job at finding homes for cats (and sometimes other animals). She helped me find the perfect cat.

Minus one star for the (Petsmart) staff member that constantly chews gum - really unsightly to say the least.

Also, I took a star off for the very slow checkout experience I had on a recent visit. The one cashier that was working was excruciatingly slow, and it took a long time for them to open up a second cash.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I never write reviews but I had to make an account just to share my experience. I took my cockapoo for a grooming visit here for the first time and I will NEVER GO HERE again!

The grooming staff was very rude. After waiting 4 hours, I found out that they treated my dog extremely harsh. My dog has NEVER had an issue with grooming visits at any place but here they ended up cutting the lip of my dog and she was bleeding. The best part was that they were able to blame it on my dog and say that she cut herself by bitting her own lip.

To add on to the that, her groin has severe cut marks which were also bleeding. Pictures attached. We had to book an appointment with my vet to make sure she is fine.

I am very upset with the way the grooming staff has treated my dog.

Do you have small dogs? We enjoy shopping at PetSmart for our two miniature yorkies, and especially toys for small dogs that tend to be super anxious and suffer from anxiety. Yes I have a thunder-jacket pheromones - but these aren't toys. Ever since the pandemic, PetSmart has almost wiped out the whole section they used to have for small dogs. This month (August) is supposed to be Dog-gust, meaning all about dogs. But what's the point in going? There won't be anything for my little furry friends. Bring back the small dog section PetSmart!

I bought a new parakeet and it died in only a week. Petsmart does not treat their pets well and only feeds budgies an all seed diet which is extremely unhealthy and lacks nutrients. Never buy anything from there, they're unethical and especially don't buy their birds as they will die in weeks if not days. Rest in peace blueberry, you were an amazing budgie and you didn't deserve to be treated like this by this disgusting petstore.

I was shocked with the mistreatment of the fishes.

Went to PetSmart to buy a toy for my dog and when I was in the line to pay, I saw a lot of plastic buckets with some fishes.
My surprise was when I realized most of them was dead, probably suffocated.
I asked the cashier if someone saw this and she responded: "Yes, but someone will take care of them in the end of the day. "
Too late, most of them were dead.
I refuse to believe in a company that makes money selling animal stuff could be capable to do this. But here we are.
Before someone can tell me this is not true, take a look at the photos taken from the store.

Service is great here. The whole store looks like being robbed. Limited stock and very little choices. Arrangements are bad. Lots of product do not have price tags.

Friendly staff and lots of pet food choices. Unfortunately due to Covid other shelves arelow on stock, but overall a good shopping experience.

This is my favourite PetSmart. I took my pup there to get beginner dog training lessons in 2016. Had a great pet trainer there and it was a fantastic experience. After the final lesson is over, there’s a little doggy graduation which was pretty cute.
Also the workers there are always friendly and very helpful.
The groomers also do a very decent job!

Not worth your money to get your pet groomed here. Got a pawdicure for $30 that took 5 minutes and doesn't look proper. I literally seen her brush my dogs teeth for 20 seconds, his ears still have crud in them. The whole process was rushed and done poorly. The groomers were inexperienced and could not properly care for my dog. I never write reviews but I feel so disappointed with the service that I need to share my experience with others. Think again if you want to bring your loved pet here.

Worst customer service for curbside pickup. Employees have no manners and don't know how to speak to customers. Didn't even put my dog food in my car.

I went to this PetSmart to pick up literally one item. What should've taken 2 minutes, instead took 30 minutes. People that had arrived after me were getting their stuff, literal carts full of merchandise, and were leaving before I received my order. No apology was given, no explanation was offered. Is this what you call service?

Came here for curbside pick up as it was the only location that had the food I need for my pups. I ordered the day before and had everything sorted through the app. Waited over 30 minutes then called the store and they didn’t pick up. Finally caught an employee as they were bringing out other orders. Extremely frustrating and totally defeats the purpose of the app and contactless pick up. Haven’t had this issue at other petsmarts

If I could give a zero star rating I would. Been waiting for 2 hours for a bag of pet food, was told there’s 10 orders ahead of me. I’ve counted 23 orders satisfied yet I’m still waiting for a bag of food. Won’t be shopping here anymore

These 2 words are more than enough to share what kind of customer experience we have received. We left our pet for overnight stay, and I have called couple of times to ask about my pet and all they had to say “we were about to give him his ice cream and other than that they knew nothing about my pet. When we went to pick our pet from the hotel, the lady employee was very rude and knew nothing about my pet as how he did and she did not even answer my questions. We paid extra for one on one play time but I don’t think that my pet has received that service. Not recommended at all.

A pet store with a huge variety of pet products. There is a pet hotel here. Also there are a few cats that were kept for adoption. Nice place

My small dog was scratched in his private area, yes they did apologise and waived the charges but my dog is in pain and I’m not at all happy

Calling today to pick up 2 cans of food to replace what a sneaky employee snuck into my order instead of refunding me 2 cans. Very upset HAD to feed my dog some of the wrong food today so he wouldn't starve he is a puppy. I'll be calling at 10 am very un happy

Larger variety of fish / more tanks! Daryl is tops. Knows his aquatics BIG TIME. That said, the staff at check-out (pre-lockdown) are very hit or miss customer experience wise. One in particular (more senior who has been there forever) has a sour attitude and is not customer focused. I am certain she know who I am referring to. So, depending on who you get, your experience will either be a 2* or 4*.

Jessica in Grooming was wonderful and gentle with our old dog in need of a good clean up /cut. Lovely team and finished before promised. I wish I could have made a purchase but the rest of the store was shutdown (online orders only).

I was able to order a bag of dog food online. I was pleasantly surprised that they used Doordash to deliver!

Very bad experience. I booked an appointment for grooming couple of days before hand. But on that day the staff called me and told me the appointment was canceled. I rebooked the grooming a few days later. This time three hours before the scheduled time, they told me that their employee had to go home and asked me to rebook again!

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PETS HERE! We booked our 13 month old black Lab here for two nights while we went away on a mini vacation. Never again!
We got a call from a hotel staff member on our drive home saying our dog had vomited 3 times that day.
Unheard of, especially because she has recently had her complete check up at our long-term vet 2 weeks prior and was a clean bill of health when we checked her in on Sunday.
We got her home and she was dehydrated, drinking a full bowl of water, had two bouts of diarreah and no appetite! She had an accident on her own bed at the PetHotel and it came he home smelling and stained!
We should have known better than to trust a Big Box store to look after our girl.
We will go out of our way to ask our vet to recommend a dog lodge next time we go away if we can't bring her with us. Be cautious!
Would give a 0 star rating if I could. If our dog ends up at the vet tomorrow due to this horrible stay, PetSmart will know all about it!

Great place to shop for any pet, if you are looking to buy healthy animals, this is a good place to go

An associate gave me some very useful information about my aquarium. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoyed speaking with him. Will definitely visit the store again. Very good prices too! I searched prices online and almost all prices exceeded PetSmart.

I live the grooming salon here.one of the best I've been too. Kim groomed my dog she made her look just perfect.

Very good store and friendly staff, but don’t go here if you aren’t willing to spend a pretty penny.very good quality products, although they don’t come cheap.

Pet friendly and Rocky loves to visit and pick his treat/toy. They always give him a cookie upon check out. Friendly, cheerful staff too.

The associates here greet me each time I come in to this store, which I can't say about other locations. They always have an associate at the front to welcome you and ask to assist you right when you come in. This way you don't need to walk around the store looking for someone, which I had to do in the past in other locations. The checkout is very smooth as well!
This store also has a little pet hotel in addition to all the regular services PetSmart provides, I might use it if I'm ever out of town and can't find a catsitter as I trust the associates at this store based on all my experiences here.

They always have good deals for my dogs favourite treats and the staff was great! Althogh most times they do not have the treats for dogs restocked.

Pretty good place! Employees are very friendly and have enough knowledge to guide you through every problem you got. A huge variety of pets food brands, top quality, I mean look at the result.

Quickly becoming the go to place for all things pet related. They usually have discounted cat food on Friday and Saturday. Loyalty program in place.

It was my first time going to this location and its been by far the best experience. I got my dog groomed by Keanna, she was super sweet and did an amazing job with Leo’s groom. I received a pawgress repost, it was nice to read the feedback. I highly recommend this pet smart location it’s been a great experience.

Very disappointed, for the fourth time in a row the product I purchase was not there. They don't seem to be concerned when asked why. Time to find an alternate place to shop.

I bought just a few little trinckets for my betta fish. The store was huge, but clearly marked so you could find what you were looking for. I don't have any other animals therefore in terms of experience with dog and other animal needs I cant make any comments. But I have read further that some people are concerned about the dog grooming.

I was absolutely mortified. I went there to have a look at the hamsters and left crying. To give some examples: Syrian hamsters kept in cages that would have already been way to small for dwarf hamsters and I needed to notify an employee of the fact that the dwarf hamsters weren't even able to reach their water bottle. Absolute animal abuse!

One of the best and biggest PetSmarts in Mississauga. They carry a really large selection of products more than other locations as well. Helpful and engaging staff.

I went into PetSmart on McLaughlin to get 6 Ghost Shrimp for my planted tank, and came away with lots more info than I already had. Daryl is one of the best aquatics associates I've run into in a chain store.

Over all experience was very good; friendly associates, lots of happy doggies already in/coming in for doggy daycare and grooming. Most importantly tho we found the new brand of dog food recommended to us by our veterinarians office for our dogs new food allergies; quickly and with ease.
