The workers at this location were very rude and hesitant to help me. I wanted to buy a hamster and items for my hamster and they gave me multiple excuses as to why I couldn’t. They told me random items I had to buy that their store didn’t even sell. Very difficult process and kept changing their age limit to purchase a live animal from 18 to 19 to 21. I asked for the manager and they said that their manager was indisposed somewhere. Terrible service, would definitely not recommend.

It was OK. But Just ok.

We bought a couple excessories from them. (Pet Smart)
A Trex Skull And Fake Bonsi Tree

But they were noy actually supposed to be for a fish tanks.

They knew we had told them and said that we were getting them for our fish tank aquarium

It was only after getting home that we realized they were for suppose to be used for reptile tank set ups

We ended up calling a friend of the family well call him uncle Joey and we buought a tank and whole set up with plants some shrimp and a few other Loach Fishes

Then The Next Day He Helped Us We Went To Get A Few Other Fishes For The Kids New Aquarium At A Fish Store

Highly recommend this location, Sam is very knowledgable and was amazing help. She truly cares about making sure your new pet is going to do well and gets the right care when looking for something new for your kid!

These people don't understand the sympathy required to deny someone adopting a pet when they have the money. I will be satisfied when this store gets shut down.

Madison does a fantastic job grooming our dog! We have an Australian Shepherd who gets super stressed easily. Madison has done a fantastic job and is truly an outstanding groomer! Would recommend booking with her if you have a dog that gets stressed at appointments!

They had my order ready to go in a timely fashion, and the staff are typically friendly and efficient

I go to these PetSmarts quite often due to my kitty cat, no he does like her food and the odd treat.

We were visiting London for the summer and our mini poodle was desperate for a nail trim and ear cleaning. We took her to Ritz (Wonderland location) who was AMAZING and did a fabulous job. Took her back again the end of August for a full groom and we were so happy with the cut! Ritz was fantastic and has been the best groom we've ever had! We may have to make the 2 hour drive here every 6 weeks just to see Ritz! Highly recommend! London is lucky to have this amazing groomer!

Sadly I thought all pet smart staff are kind, not on this branch one of the sales lady here are rude, I'm looking at the plants and suddenly asked me not to touch it, I was about to buy one of it, but got dismayed and would not come back on this branch, other staff are ok but not that particular young lady

Got an amazing pair of rats here. Customer service was impeccable, however the state of the cages were pretty bad The bedding my rats were sent home in was pee soaked and filled of dried poo!

The staff here was amazingly helpful and friendly. They took the time to answer all questions we had.

They do a great job in the grooming salon, really kind to me and always treating my pets super great. My girls honestly love going to see their groomers and I'm always very satisfied with the results, they are truly amazing. Only thing is that it's hard to get in because y'all be booked up! (good for u tho). Chris is amazing with my cat Layla. And I think my dog Hocus is pretty popular around there I don't think she gets the same groomer every time. No complaints.

Great location, lots of parking and friendly staff. It was my dogs Birthday today and he got a little extra attention and a treat. I like their rewards program and this location is clean and well stocked.

Lots of helpful staff. Many whom are very knowledgeable in their sections. However this store does have a smaller selection in the aquarium services department

Today is my last time shopping at this store, I purchase all my pet stuff in this place, I was trying to buy some pads for my dog, I saw there is buy one and get 50% off on the second one, but it is only box left on the shell, the staff doesn’t help you check in the back, just tell you this is all we have. So you have to pay regular price for the pads.

Disappointed at this service, they don’t even help you check the back.

I didn’t have a great experience with the groomers. While they are friendly, I’ve had to re-do my dog’s nails after coming home from a nail trim and the double dewies were always neglected, on more than one occasion. Once I was even called to bring my dog in for discounted grooming for Golden Retriever Week, but when I did I was still charged full price because my dog is a Golden Retriever mix Needless to say I have found another groomer.

MacKenzie groomed my puppy Zoey. She is a nervous puppy and still learning, and MacKenzie was so good with her. I can tell because I could see the confident boost Zoey had when I got her and walked around the store after her groom! Zoey still is happy to go to Petsmart despite being groomed there multiple times. Thank you MacKenzie and the rest of the groomers there. You seriously help dogs not only get groomed but feel good about themselves afterwards!

Love shopping here for my dogs as there's always a huge selection and wise variety of stuff for them that I usually find what I want and need without having to stop somewhere else.

Went in to get some items for our puppy and left very happy with the help, products and information we were provided. Cam is by far the best associate we have ever dealt with and was very knowledgeable. Will definitely return.

I’m working as a delivery driver, I do not accept any order from PetSmart except from the Wonderland branch because all the employees there are wonderful in dealing with customers and they are always smiling, polite and fun.

My experience with this pet smart was amazing! Very helpful over the phone, i couldn’t find what i was looking for online so they told me the SKU number.and the curb side picking was fast.no hassle at all.i will be ordering again.

I went in as a nervous new cat mom of 24 hrs and came out with products for my kitten that she loves. The cashier who checked me out was extremely kind. He even carried my heavy reuseable bag into my cart! He did this not knowing I have chronic pain and lifting heavy objects hurts. Just doing that little extra meant the world to me! Will definitely be back soon.

Employees at Pet Smart are always very helpful. Placed my order online and selected one wrong product. Cashier brought my order to the vehicle during covid with correct product from our conversation on the phone.

Their online ordering experience and curbside pick up is a breeze. I like to support small business where I can but nothing was comparable for an online/in person experience.

My puppy Milo had grooming appointment with Chris today at Wonderland Petsmart and she did an amazing and detailed job! Milo looks so clean and neat. She also gave him a bandanna! Absolutely wonderful! Thank you!

Store is clean and staff are friendly, but prices seem very high when you can get comparable products for less at other stores or online. Grooming service is also good but expensive compared to some others.

Prompt service friendly staff who directed me on how to do a return. Note normally receipts are only good for two months I had a product I bought for my fish tank that did not fit. Back before the Covid lock down in december. They honoured the receipt no-questions-asked. So easy in and out 10 minutes great job!

Both aridale terriers were well maintained, well groomed, and given lots of love. Definitely going back

First time using the online/curbside pickup. Took a little bit for my credit card to work with their system. (Address needs to be correct in all ways) But all in all, I got my 2 items within 2hrs.

Great service. Grooming is excellent and prices are reasonable. I tally able to get the dog in within the week of calling. Lots of sales on and always have what I need when I need it!

One of the cleanests PetSmarts in London. Great knowledgeable staff and they are very considerate towards recommending products to people. Great selection of items and the shelves are always full.

PetSmart is a great place to shop for your pet, especially when you bring your fury family member with you. The staff are polite, courteous and knowledgeable. It is always a pleasure to sop here.

The store is in a good location, also the workers are there to help out, Even the customers are nice! Hahaha, I asked a worker about clipping a dog's nails, and a customer walked by and over heard and answered my question for him + I didn't even Have to spend the money on what I needed because it's just a home remedy of what I needed lol (cornstarch incase the nails get clipped too close to the'quick' n ur pet bleeds; cornstarch stops it!) But other than that, things there Are a wee bit overpriced? Like I looked at a dog bone for instance and it was like, $34.99 a lil too much for me. I'm gunna stick to Dollarama for some sausages my dog had fallen in love with though nuff said

PetSmart on Highbury Northland mall is a very safe place to shop for pet supplies everyone's very helpful I think the prices are a bit high other than that I give it four stars

Adopted a kitten a few weeks ago and the kitten had two health issues that is contagious to other cats. I was shocked that they acted like there are no issues and they were bringing more cats that can get infected and then sick from the cats they already had. If you leave a healthy cat with sick one the healthy cat will be infected!

Just an overall welcoming place with awesome staff and a lovely selection of toys, bones, food, and beds for our dog. Definitely a go-to place for pet shopping.

This PetSmart location is my wife and I go to location. The staff at this store are phenomenal for customer service and are so friendly. We mainly bring out dog to the groomers and they are top notch! Every time our dog comes home, he is one happy camper. Thank you PetSmart!

I personally think SOME OF THE STAFF should work on their customer service skills. MOST of them are REALLY nice people although there is 1 girl there that SHOULD NOT HAVE A JOB DEALING WITH PEOPLE. I'm NOT going to put her name out there but if you scroll through the reviews I've seen her name mentioned twice.other than that I dont have much of a issue! For the most part they're always have what I need for my fish room, kind & helpful.not much of a fish selection but I dont buy my fish from there anyway.would give it 5 stars but the fishes aren't much to look @ & that 1 girl REALLY should not be working with the public.

3 different puppy foods they had 1 bag of 1of 3 different kinds she suggested.after driving 45 min each way. Her comment was its puppy season. Lame excuse if you know that than stock up. Lol

DO NOT BUY FISH HERE! I have on two seperate occasions bought fish here. And both times they had ich (white spot disease). Keep in mind these purchases were nearly 2 months apart. On both occasions they ended up infecting and killing the rest of my fish in my aquariums. Even with proper treatment of the disease I was unable to save them. Please do not buy fish here as they will likely come home sick! Be careful where you buy from, and learn from my mistakes. QUARANTINE your fish.

I am a former employee at this petsmart location. “Former” for a reason. (For a brief summary to this long review, scroll to where it says “in summary”)
Before I started working for Petsmart, it was my go to store for all my pet needs, just as they intend it to be. A convenient place to get all things pet. However, the convenient “one stop shop” has a dark side. I worked at this location for approximately a year and a half and in that time myself and one other part time employee were the only remaining staff to when I started. The turnover rate is so high, even management staff is consistently changing. Management staff themselves (for the most part) were a nightmare to deal with. Being power hungry and narcissistic make it hard to be objective when dealing with a complex system of staffing and trying to handle all their individual needs. Petsmart claims to be a caring community for pet lovers, but very rarely did I experience “care” or community.

On a different note, the animal care procedures.
All the cats we had in store are from shelters. For this reason, we had no idea if we would be getting a sick, malnourished cat and if it could possible infect the other cats it was living in proximity to. Many of the smaller shelters we worked with such as animal aide or animal love foundation don’t have many staff, so when we had a sick cat, it could take DAYS for someone to come pick the sick cat up and bring them to the vet. In the meantime, we had to try our best with our EXTREMELY LIMITED training to try and make a sick cat feel comfortable, cared for, and nourished while being kept in an unfamiliar, tiny cage.

The animals we carried that were being provided by Petsmart were not much of a better story. *graphic descriptions ahead* All too frequently the small enclosures would lead to rodent cannibalism, bird self mutilation, reptiles stunted growth, and fish overcrowding and therefor death. Since the “pet care” staff did not receive a great deal of training on actual animal care and majority of training time spent on customer service and how to sell product, many of the animals were left with too much/not enough food, insufficient humidity/heat source, overcrowded enclosures, that once again frequently lead to animal fatalities. If I had to give an educated approximation, I would say on average 2 animals per week are dying in this store. That does NOT include the hundreds of fish per month that get scooped up and put directly in the garbage can.

Now I understand this all seems a little outrageous, this is a huge corporation there’s no way they could be getting away with this, right? Well the sad fact of the matter is that our animal rights laws allow for this kind of treatment of animals in big box stores like this, and Petsmart follows the minimum standard requirements to allow them to sell animals in such mass amounts.

In summary,
The management team here makes the staff's lives a living nightmare with no available hours, harsh treatment, and immature behaviour.
The cats that are brought here are treated as an afterthought to both the agency that brought them there and the staff that now cares for them.
The other animals and fish are given the bare minimum requirements to survive, and some don’t survive with only that. Most animals they receive are babies, and therefor have a much higher need for vitamins and nutrients that just aren’t being met.
While this may be a convenient “one stop shop”, the next time your shopping for the animals you love, remember the animals that are stuck here, and think about how “convenient” Petsmart has made THEIR lives.
