I shop at Petsmart regularly at this location, n we also adopted our first kitten from here years ago. Today, I went to exchange cat food that we bought that our new kitty is allergic to, the staff greeted me as soon as I entered the store n allowed me to exchange the wrong food even without my receipt. Chelsea was super, super kind, and patient and apologized so many times during the exchange. Even though it wasn't her fault, the computer had a bit of an issue as without my receipt, the code was an issue (which is understandable).
I came out of the store happy as this is the only store that sells the brand of food my cat loves. Have loved shopping here as they carry lots of different items for pets. Thanks, Chelsea, for your superb customer service!
Grooming service here is a joke, fire and rehire new staff. Had proof of rabies and shots papers denied because she didn't like how they looked, were completely up to date. Huge waste of time all because they didn’t wanna deal with my hyperactive Pup. Wont be back
Unfortunately will never return here. I booked an appointment for my 23lb dog to get a bath and trim. Normally, he’s in and out within 45 minutes to an hour. His fur doesn’t require a lot of maintenance/cutting so he usually comes out looking the same but a little bit more handsome. I was waiting in the parking lot for nearly 3 hours, still no call. Went in to check up on him, only to find that he’s not being groomed and is instead crying and barking in a cage in the back room. In nearly 3 hours, they had done nothing but bathe him. They did not dry him, brush him, trim him, nothing! Just left him, wet in a cage for nearly 3 hours. No water, nothing. When I demanded they give him back, one of the groomers (whom I’ve always been fond of, she’s amazing) quickly finished grooming him (dry, brush, trim, nail trim) in 20 MINUTES. Thankful for her, but the rest of the grooming staff that was there should consider a different profession. Heartbreaking to think how they treat some of the pets. I’m aware that it’s a chain, so the loss of my business won’t make a dent but please do not leave your pets in their hands. My dog has been incredibly stressed since (panting, drooling, whining). Awful, awful experience
Friendly staff, great selection of toys and always getting new stuff in! Colleen is also great for training foundations and the training is very affordable!
Recommended: I usually come here for my pet rabbit needs and if I'm not careful I end up spending too much. They always have what I need in stock or something comparable. I love talking to the staff and asking questions. They are highly knowledgeable about animals and love to share random tidbits they know.
Give Community Cashier #787531 a raise. I asked a question and he had no idea, but he directed me to someone who did. He also made light-hearted conversation that made me laugh. Well done you!
Love the wide variety selection and clean store, lady working over in the fish and rodent section gave me all the info I needed on buying my Leopard Gecko and was very easy to talk to and informative!
I have to say this is my dog Logan's favorite store. Every so often i will take him in to pick out his own toy. He knows where he is going as much as going through the drive thru at Tim Hortons.
Pet friendly l suppose went in for a turtle filter for a friend, has lots of goodies for your pets, could have more of the filters they only had one which was not very convenient seeing as two would have been better. No washrooms that l saw. Wheel chair friendly. Good customer service. Friendly.
I had a mixup with my online order but they were super helpful and quick to fix everything. I was able to pick up my curbside order without issue the next morning and they even threw in an extra bag of treats for our dog. Thanks again!
I love pet smart, i just love taking my dog there because he really enjoys it and it’s cute.although sometimes they don’t have his food in stock, it’s usually very fast when they get it in again.also everyone is so happy and there are so many cute dogs.plus the treats membership gives you lots of good deals and games you can play on the app to get money off.
July 2021 - Update Groomers I really like the way all the staff treated myself and my dog Peanut. It was her first time at the Groomers and they took their time with her so she wasn't rushed or stressed out. Everyone was super friendly and took the time to explain the different packages! I will go back again for sure! They kept her longer to introduce her to everything and they called me with an update and to say she was ready for pick up! Excellent experience! Thank you Faith and others involved! The only thing I wish they recommended to do the nail grinding as my dogs nails were sharp after.
June 2021 - Overall I had a great time shopping for our new foster fail pup! She is a 3 year chihuahua rescue and I love to spoil her. This was her first time in pet smart and she was an angel! The lady at the front who greeted us, it was her first day! She was very friendly and peanut even sniffed her (which is a huge accomplishment). We spoke to 3 other associates to find various things and everyone was knowledgeable and helpful even though they were lacking on stock! We will definitely go back again! The experience was great and it was nice and quiet in the store. Thanks Pet Smart!
Took my dog for her 1st grooming. She came back looking wonderful. I had the de-shedding done and what a difference. 2 days later my dog still smells wonderful too!
I loved to buy food for my cats from Petsmart. Great selection, good price.but I will never try that curbside pick up. Is not for my shopping style. What I can not understand is how come food for pets is not essential? For me is more important to buy food for my pets than is to buy for myself. I just think that is somehow more convenient for Petsmart to keep it closed and go with the curbside pick up. Just a little disappointed.
Great selection, great customer service. Only problem I have (not location specific) is that a lot of their products don't actually have the best interest of pets in mind. For example, there's lots of bunny products with ingredients in them that bunnies can't eat, like honey or whole seeds.
I tried your curbside pick up Nd it was horrible.the confirmation told me to come pick it up and said the store is open from 9-9 i got there at 715 I called the number then hit extention 3 for curbside it told me. Sorry cannot complete it.then when I got out of my car and went to the window the 2 ladies inside were laughing and just waving and putting there hands up then the one ladies pointed at her watch. Trying to say to late but again my email said I can come pick it up and closes at 9 she gestures 7 sorry and laughed again.this is ridiculous actions especially knowing qe are there for our pets its sad ypu have employees like this.
Very rude and disrespectful staff This night is the second time that I go to this store and get treated unkindly and mocked and made fun of just because we don't speak fluent English.
They treat costumers horribly I have never seen anything like this before, talking behind our back’s even when we are clearly hearing them.they do not care how much this is lack of respect they don’t have a right to treat us like this and on top of that they refused to help us especially the older workers there, They said that I am lazy and should find my things myself, I own a dog for the first time in my life, and I have not entered this store before and I will not enter it anymore
Went to this place with my other half the other day. Brought my tiny maybe 10 lb dog to their groomer as I'd done in the past. Keeping in mind to their credit the dog is anything but groomer friendly (don't know why she's been groomed at other locations and for some reason she's now completely freaked out by their groomers) And dropped her off for a badly needed shave. 20 mins later I get called saying they can't proceed cause she's "stressed". No s*** you just shaved her. They won't groom her again without a vet sedation. Funny because I managed with my wife to finish her head simply by teasing her with Cheez it crackers. Not much Patience with their people. Won't be back to this location. What a joke.
Store's great. Website is dumb. You can only buy Fancy Feast in increments of 5, even though the store doesn't sell in that way. It's a greedy and poorly thought out money grub. They also won't price match. Since the only way you can get curbside is by ordering online, it's either feel ripped off or go elsewhere.
Just a shout out to the amazing people that work at this store. Had a chance to speak to Jordan about improving my Shepherd's nutritional intake (dry dog food) and received phenomenal information about how my current dog food compared to other options that were more suited for my pet. Jordan explained quite a bit about some of the ingredients and the benefits. Easily ordered online while I spoke to Jordan and curb side pick up was a breeze. Really appreciate the outstanding customer service at the Cambridge store. You all deserve a big raise during these tough times! All the best.

I tried to frequent PetSmart because they do fantastic work grooming my dog. The pricing on the Goods they sell are slightly expensive but for me it's a trade-off. I highly recommend their grooming service and by the way don't forget to leave the young lady a tip.
This visit was just okay. The online store said they had a collar I've been looking for in stock but when I went in they didn't have any in stock. Also there were a lot of people in the store and not a lot of distancing of any kind
It was our huskies (Kayda) first time at Pet Smart today! It went so well, she had her nails trimmed, teeth brushed ect with Ana. She is just awesome (Ana) you can really tell the ladies here care about their furry clients. Kayda will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much for taking great care of our little fur baby
The grooming lady pulled a hair and that’s why my dog got aggressive And then she didn’t admit it too And then she denied grooming my dog! How irritating! Then when my dog was calm she still denied
Well supplied pet store, but service can be a bit slow at times. The staff are diligent, friendly, and knowledgeable. They pay pretty close attention to covid procedures any time I've been which I'm greatful for.
Today I had a very wonderful experience with the Petsmart located on Hespeler Road in Cambridge.
All of the staff at this location are fantastic, but today Jordan helped me so much and I cannot thank her and her team enough for it. I was in a unique situation and in quite a bind and time was of the essence. Jordan went above and beyond to help me out. The entire time she was so compassionate, professional, and understanding. During a very stressful situation, her kindness and help allowed me to relax. She assured me that everything would be ok and it was!
Jordan and her team deserve recognition for all these qualities. This particular Petsmart location is very special and it is because of their excellent staff!

Great store. Staff is all friendly and knowledgeable. Groomers are outstanding. I'm amazed at the work the groomers do. My standard people comes out looking like a million bucks, every time.
