Always good service. Knowledge level is decent. I'm a rabbit owner, and unless they start getting paid a lot more, I don't expect experts. Clean and well organized. Had a delivery problem and they made me all happy.

Terrible customer service! We will no longer be shopping at PetSmart or using their services. We booked a grooming appointment for our dog and the morning of the appointment (after we rearranged our work schedules) they called to say they were cancelling our appointment because our dog was difficult to groom because he would sit down and did not like the kennel. They offered to reschedule and do an express service instead which we said no to, as he was in need of full grooming. My husband was then put on hold and hung up on. They then called back 20 minutes later and said they would not groom our dog. Our dog is over 10 years old and we've never had issues with our dog before. I wouldn't recommend going there as you can see from the trail of other comments there seems to be a trend with either cancelling appointments or offering express service instead.

Horrible customer service and common sense. I will no longer shop here or donate to their charity which I have done so for years. They are out of touch with how to treat long time customers properly. I called Ren's Pets and was treated so much better and not completely ignored like I was at PetSmart. "Unfortunately even though we have a sign that says Santa photos we can't take a 2 second photo for you" False advertising. Meanwhile there was no one there waiting and 1 person in the room for over 5 minutes wasting time. It was obnoxious. So "unfortunately" I will no longer be shopping at any Petsmart or donating to your charity if even real. Called Ren's pets and they said come on in we are happy to have you for a Santa photo:) So bye corporate US owned company. Never again. Supporting Canadian owned only.

Came in for an appointment for a puppy groom today (which I had booked a month in advance!) The appointment was scheduled for 1pm, at 12: 58 I arrived and was told to wait outside and only come back at our scheduled time. I came back with my puppy at 1pm and finally at 1: 20 the staff stopped ignoring us. I made mention to the groomer that this was my dog's first groom so he may be nervous. We sent him in and watched through the windows for a few minutes and he looked totally fine. We received a call 10 minutes later saying that he was not cooperating and looked stressed and that the grooming would need to be rescheduled to a less busy day. I'm not sure why rescheduling would make any difference if my dog was stressed, it is clear that this location had overbooked their grooming services and needed to cancel one appointment. Looks like I should have read the reviews earlier because seems like this is pretty common. They literally had one job and could not complete. Do not come here.

12: 45pm, I dropped my dog off for her grooming appointment. During the check-in physical exam, the groomer told me my dog had long nails, so they were going to cut them and give her a bath. I was also told her appt.would take about 2 hours. Once it was 2pm I began to worry why it's taking over two hours for my dog to be finished. I walked over to the store and noticed the employee who checked-in my dog was crying outside the entrance. I asked the other employee if everything was okay and how much longer it would take, I was told another 20 mins.

When I finally picked up my dog, she was whining. Outside the store, I started to notice blood on the floor. I quickly realized it was coming from her back paw. Immediately, I called pet smart. I asked them, if they cut her? And why wasn't I informed during pick-up? ! She responded, "Its her back right paw right? She had a split nail. I put something on it to stop the blood. You can also put cornstarch on it to stop the bleeding once you're home". Once I got home, it was still bleeding heavy. It took 45mins for the bleeding to stop!

I called them back to speak to a manager about this incident. The manager said the groomer explained to me she had a split nail upon check-in, which is a complete lie! Then, the manager told me the groomers said she wasn't bleeding in the store, which is another lie! The groomer I spoke with on the phone knew THE EXACT paw my dog was bleeding from, plus she even told me she treated it to stop the bleeding. I would recommend other dog owners to go elsewhere, or choose another location. I am in shock they tried to cover up something so serious. I am so upset to see my dog in pain by those I trusted with her!

Awful experience, they cut my dog while grooming. The groomer had an attitude. The turnover of groomers is too high and the good one we had left about 3 years ago. Avoid this place. Your dog deserves better.

I had been taking my dog to this location for years, however in the last year they have been TERRiBLE. Dealt with Melissa L this 1st time who was unprofessional and didn't complete the grooming properly. Most recently they INJURED my dog and denied anything happened. When I picked my dog up David L claimed my dog was being difficult cutting his nails. I noticed shortly afterwards my dogs rear leg where they as ttempted to cut was sore and he had a limp. I called the store again and Melissa L was not truthful about the situation. I will NEVER use this location for grooming again. I expect them to pay the vet bills for INJURING my dog.

My chihuaua always comes back happy from the bath. The staff is super friendly, punctual. You can tell they love what they do.

Melissa R. Did a fantastic job grooming my dog Mellow. Even though Mellow was giving her a hard time. Melissa went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and not stressed. You could tell his cut was done with care. It was PERFECT. I would recommend Melissa R to everyone with fur babes.

Tried to place an online order. Kept telling my payment was incorrect. But yet they took the money for the order but did not allow me to complete it. Call the store and the automated service is so slow and ridiculous. NO USEFUL OPTIONS. Repeats the same garbage over and over.worst pet store ever

Big branch. Lots of items. They have pets for sale as well, like fishes, frogs, snakes. I've seen an enclosure with dogs for adoption but I'm not sure. There's also a grooming service and dog training available. Fun environment for all pets.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, store always has in stock what I’m looking for, im always satisfied that all my questions get answered. There’s isn’t a time that i can recall the staff not knowing all the information about the products or services they offer:)

The lovely lady that was serving us was new and in training. Very nice and explained why she was a bit slow and wasn't sure how to do a refund. It was nice that she explained why it was taking longer than usual. Very polite!

Great PetSmart location. All the employees are so friendly and shelves are always well stocked. I've taken dog training classes here with my two dogs and Stacy is the best! I go to the groomers onsite as well for nail grinding. The groomers do a great job for both my dogs' nails.

If I could give them a 0 stars Rating I would. I have been trying to get an appointment for over a month and a half and when I do get an appointment it seems to be moved or cancelled. The staff is very rude and unprofessional. They use Covid as an excuse to justify everything when it has nothing to do with there poor scheduling skills. Covid didn’t move my appointment to another day! They hang up on you when they can’t explain themselves or give you an answer. The manager Greg seems to think it’s ok for his staff to be rude and hang up on you and will just talk over you.
It seems as though they select the dogs they want to groom and the ones they don’t.

I was not happy with my shopping experience at this PetSmart today, I went there to pick up a bag of dog food. There was 2 customers in front of me They were lingering on at the check out for over 20 minutes, talking to cashier, deciding & socializing. I had to step outside for 5 minutes to get a breath of fresh air. When I returned the some 2 customers were still there. I think that it is up to a cashier to discourage such behavior, and speed up socializing customers in order to minimize the spread of virus. Yesterday I witnessed a grocery store cashier checking out a whole buggy of food in under 5 minutes. A shopping trip should a quick in and out, & store employees should be helping customers to keep it this way

I decided to give PetSmart a try after my friend at another location had a good experience with their grooming salon. Unfortunately, I received unprofessional and rude service. I tried to book an appointment online, but their online booking wasn’t working so I called in. I told the person who was booking my appointment that my dog was a cockapoo. She asked if my dog was up to date with her rabies shot and I said yes. Then she told me to bring in proof of the vaccination. I got my puppy earlier this year, so we had her rabies shot in March. The vet signed her vaccine records and my dog had a rabies tag with the year she got it (2020) and a QR code that identifies her. I thought this would be sufficient proof.

I go to my appointment with all of this and the first thing the staff told me was that I put in my dog as a toy poodle when booking the appointment and my dog was larger than that. There was no greeting of any kind. I told them there must have been an inputting error, as I had told the lady my dog was a cockapoo. No problem, they then proceeded to ask for proof of rabies.

I gave them our vaccine records and they said what I brought was not what they were looking for. They asked if the vet was open, I said no, because it was 8 AM and the vet didn't open for another hour. They called anyway and unsurprisingly, the office was closed. I asked them what they needed as proof. This one worker then raised her voice at me and spoke to me in a condescending tone, telling me they needed something that identifies my dog and states when she got the vaccine. I told them about the tag, QR code and the records state the day she was vaccinated. However, they didn't take a look at the tag and again, she kept the same tone, speaking to me as if I was stupid, saying they needed an official certificate that the vet should've given me at the time of vaccination and asked if someone at home could take a picture of it for us. I told them that the vet never gave us a certificate - we got a tag and her records updated. I was never told that I needed this specific certificate - otherwise, I would have gone to my vet and asked for one (I'm not sure how common this certificate is as several of my friends go to different vets, and none of them got a certificate when they got their rabies shot).

Regardless, it’s totally fine that what I brought wasn’t deemed acceptable for safety reasons, but the person booking me on the phone should have communicated their specific requirement. Furthermore, the way this lady spoke to me was far from professional. Mind you, the entire time I was just confused and speaking to them calmly, explaining my situation. When I said that it was fine and that I wouldn’t get her groomed today, because I didn't meet their requirements, the workers all just stared at me and said nothing. I wasn’t even offered to reschedule for an appointment after I obtained the necessary proof.

After leaving, I called to get the name of the workers who had been rude to me. I'm unsure if I was speaking to one of them on the phone, but I was told, "You don't need to know the name of the other girls, my name is Melissa and I'm the salon lead. " Overall, I’m disappointed by the way I was treated, the lack of customer service and the poor communication on the phone. If a specific certificate is required, this should have been communicated with me prior to my appointment.

Placed an order online. Everything was listed as in stock at the Stockyards location. Next morning, the entire order was cancelled, despite the products still being shown as being in stock. Total waste of time. Will not shop here again.

This location is a good one for the 2 times that I went there it was nice and clean also organized the employees are helpful and friendly even at checkout, I got a bearded dragon lizerd and the female employee that worked the department was really helpful and answered all my questions I will continue to come to this location.

I love this pet smart. Staff is very helpful, friendly, very informative.

Also for me easy to get get by streetcar.

Plus the prices are very good, better than my local places

Relatively small location comparing to the petsmart I usually go to. Stocks are very tightly packed together making it harder to get to stuffs. I really like the stockyard area in general but this petsmart was kind of below average.

We will no longer be bringing our pup to this location (or any location for that matter). We have bringing our dog since he was born and he's always had the same temperament. He's 5lbs and always gets nervous at the start of the appt so he moves around and knaws while we're there. But we've been told by his groomer that as soon as we leave he's perfectly fine.

Our appt was cancelled last week and rescheduled to today and it was very clear that she double/triple booked herself. It was also quite clear that because she overbooked herself, she needed to have one appt cancelled. So she kept making this excuse that our dog was being too restless and wasn't allowing her to do the initial assessment - even though he had the same temperament as always. She wouldn't take him and refused to service him. We were so disappointed because after having his original appt cancelled same day, we had to move around other appt to reschedule then only to be turned away.

Even after moving a year ago (to Brampton), we still decided to stay with Sunny but today she proved her professionalism. I would have rather her be honest and tell us she was backed up or that the appt would take longer than expected. At least I wouldn't have lost respect and she wouldn't have lost a customer. We will never be going back. Nice work, Sunny

Nice big location, and the staff have always been very friendly. I'd give it 5 stars but sometimes I run into problems with them not having the food I need in stock. I have to get feeder mice of a certain size for my pet, and it's happened a few times that they're either sold out or only have one or two left in stock. But I imagine if you have something more typical like a cat or dog you'd be able to find stuff more readily. I go to petsmart though because it's one of the only places in Toronto that carries feeder mice. Most places only sell stuff for cats, dogs, and maybe small mammals here.

We had an amazing experience at PetSmart Grooming centre. My puppy loved it and Sunny was wonderful. She took great care of him and gave me updates on what he enjoyed and wasn't a fan of during the grooming. I will definitely be going back to see Sunny again.
