Prices could be better unless there's a sale. Otherwise it has what my cats are all about.

I’m not usually one to leave bad reviews but after several years of trying to give them the benefit of the doubt the situation just keeps getting worse. For 1 they are too expensive, 2 they are constantly cancelling our grooming appointments with almost NO NOTICE. Everytime I try to book an appointment they give me an appointment for 1-2 months later. When I ask for morning appointments they insist on giving me an afternoon appointment. They cancelled my afternoon appointment with no notice, I had planned my whole day around my dogs grooming appointment and wasted my WHOLE MORNING for absolutely no reason. It’s clear that they don’t care about their clients nor about the pets. Will never go back. Very disappointing

I tried Petsmart at Argentia for the first time and was very happy with the results for my Golden Retriever's haircut. Shout out to Christina who was very informative and friendly.

Brought my dog here for grooming and they did a wonderful job! She’s always been pretty anxious when getting groomed, but they were so patient and took their time and she looks great

I would like to thank Paws & Tails and the staff at the Pet Smart Argentia location for letting our family adopt this beautiful and loving Siamese cat “Luna”.

A special warm “THANK-YOU” to Sharon which helped us very carefully through the adoption process. This is was our first cat and we were very skeptical on adopting. However, Sharon helped guide us through, with an abundance of information and patience. Her extensive knowledge and experience put our mixed feelings at ease. It’s been almost 4 weeks since we adopted Luna, and we couldn’t be happier with the best decision we made. We all love her to pieces and every day is a new adventure with Luna, and many more to come!

This location is pretty good, staff seems friendly & helpful. And most importantly the store seemed to be fully stocked

Absolutely terrible, booked a grooming well over a month ago and just 2 days before appointment they called to say there was issue with booking and can’t book for a few more weeks. If I had of know earlier I would have had time to book elsewhere for around the same time, but they didn’t offer me that respect.

We just have to give a huge shoutout to Sharon at Paws and Tails for making our cat adoption experience so amazing! We recently adopted a sweet little kitten named Gemma from PetSmart Argentia, and I have to say that Sharon is the reason we found our perfect match.

From the moment we walked in, Sharon's friendly and welcoming nature put us at ease. She's incredibly knowledgeable about all things cats, and her expertise was evident in the way she answered our questions and provided us with valuable advice on how to care for our new furry friend.

But what really made Sharon stand out to me was how much she genuinely cares about the cats that are up for adoption. She takes excellent care of them, providing them with everything they need to feel safe and loved. Her attention to detail is amazing, and it's clear that she puts a lot of thought and care into making sure each cat receives the attention and care they deserve.

Overall, I cannot recommend Sharon and Paws and Tails enough. Her passion and dedication to helping cats find their forever homes is truly inspiring, and we are so grateful to have had her help in finding our new family member. Thank you, Sharon, for all that you do!

I was able to adopt a wonderful little lady named Bella from Sharon who had a few health issues at the beginning. Sharon helped nurse Bella and I was able to bring her home.

It's now a race to see who gets the big bed to sleep in or a quick rest on the couch.
Sharon is knowledgeable and goes the extra distance to ensure you find the right forever match

Very friendly and helpful staff. I brought my dog there to get her nails cut and they were very gentle with my dog. Plus they done a excellent job. I would definitely recommend Petsmart to anyone looking for anything to do with animals.

I learned a lesson that when groomer says same kind of groom that I should have been specifice to remind them they are grooming a schnoodle with schnauzer look.today Kristy shaved our Pepper's eyebrows off and beard as well.looks like a mouse.very disappointing. Good thing hair grows back in a few months! Merry Christmas.

Ok, so I’ve shopped here for a long time, staff is great but this morning I got there at 10: 15 and none of the lights were on in the small animal section (reptiles) Do they get turned off all night? We had a special night lamp when we had our gecko.

I live very close to there and I just bought a puppy about 3 months ago and I've been going there and they've been answering all my questions and my beautiful dog is very happy and so am I definitely what suggests going there the staff is wonderful and very helpful and very informative

Very friendly staff, one of the male workers gave a lot of good advice and info for the requirements of different pets, really peaked my interest in the bearded dragon. Gabe really knows his stuff.

I adopted two cats through pet smart from Paws and Tails adoption last week. The process was nice and easy, I texted Sharon and that day went in and looked at them, adopted them the following day once I completed the paperwork. Sharon is very knowledgeable and sets you up for success, she walked us around the store to explain to us the pros and cons of every item we could possibly use or need.
I love my two fur balls, they’re amazing. We did adopt them knowing one had an eye infection, of which we had checked out and she’s on the road to recovery. Both cats are healthy, great companions and a lovely addition to the family.
Sharon made sure the cats and myself were comfortable and you can tell she truly cares about the cats she has in her care
I give Sharon 5 stars.
I do not give Pet Smart 5 stars, every-time I went in, I got met with attitude. My first visit to look at the cats, the cashier was trying to come into the adoption room to bother us as we were discussing the two cats I was adopting to let Sharon know other people needed help, when Sharon had told her to let us talk first.
Then when I came back to buy all the supplies I couldn’t find anyone to help me, there was no one at cash, no one anywhere. (Sharon was not in for me to ask)
There was someone in the training spot with a dog, but I wasn’t about to disturb that.
Speaking of- the trainer was screaming at the dog to stop whatever it was doing, not how you talk to a dog at all
After giving up on having assistance (it said ask for assistance on the shelf) I bought what I could and went to a different pet store
I think they’re understaffed, and a little on edge. They need to have more people with better attitudes.
I personally think that they should also have a better eye on their felines, when I go in, I often see children and adults banging on the glass to get attention, not good for the cats either
Sharon, you were incredibly helpful. I couldn’t of done it without you, it sucks that the people who are in the store promoting pet smart aren’t as helpful as you. I wish they had your work ethic!

Worst employee service ever. Once went and they had their cashier who was high af and clueless about the products. We asked if a product does what it says for our 1 month old pup, man stares at it and says I don’t see why not. And every other time there’s no one working the isles to find to ask for help… least helpful petsmart. I guess go if you already know your stuff on your own lol

Located in a little hidden part of the Argentia plazas, located by Michael's. Has a good selection of cat food brands but the more popular ones are always a little low on stock.

Staff is lovely and very helpful. Definitely stop by the adoption center window to see the adorable kitties!

The staff are amazing and super helpful and friendly. I would like to give a scpecial review to KRISTA at the grooming salon. She is awesome! We are always very happy with her grooming skills for our Nina (Standard Labradoodle). Thank you much!

Service is great when I visited. I asked if they had an item in stock and she said the store doesn’t carry the item and suggested Michaels next door. She also apologized which was nice. I don’t mind if a store doesn’t carry an item (i was looking for those paw print keepsake memento) that’s okay. Suggestions are always great.

Just talked to the manager about returning broken hamster cage and person said they don’t even carry the cage when I bought the cage from the same location few days ago he was so rude towards me I have never done business with a place and a person being so rude towards me I wish I got his name so I could @ him on here this is not acceptable at all… I am for-sure reporting to head office.

This Petsmart is really great. We’ve lived in the subdivision next to it for 20 years, and all 3 of our dogs have gone to this Petsmart for obedience training, Pam has been the instructor for each, starting with Lexi 20 years ago, to the puppy we got 2 months ago. So she’s been training at the store for 20 years, (that I know of), can’t ask for more experience than that! The groomers are also great, super friendly and do a good job, lots of different grooming packages to choose from depending on what you want. In store staff are also super friendly and knowledgable. Great store.

Went there to get my dogs haircut a couple of times and I haven’t received the next service they canceled my appointment without notice for the first time and the second they gave my dog one of the worst cuts she ever had

2022 update: Ben has been consistent in grooming both my dogs. Everyone at this location is very nice. At one point I needed to book an appointment and Ben was not available. Sharise was kind enough to modify her schedule for me! It goes to show how nice these groomers are and I highly recommend them.

My daughter lost her pet pineapple I know it’s weird but she did and so we asked a staff member and they had helped us find it super kind

They got everything you need for pets. I frequently buy my dog food here as well as food for our parrot. Staff are very friendly

Few weeks ago, I bought a pack of 50 giant worms. I couldn’t use half of them, they were either dead or pupated and turned into a moth.

Today, a PetsSmart employee kindly gave me extra worms on top of the 50 I purchased.

Next, as I was leaving, the cashier recommended to reach out to PetSmart when I choose to bring my beardie into my class to save some $$$ with their offers.

Sad to walk in and check out the selection of Betta’s only to see murky water cups and quiet fish laying on the bottom - not a sign of a healthy fish. A lot with eaten away tails (due to stress/conditions) quite a shame considering you offer papers on proper carr of the fish but can’t use that information to keep them well maintained in your care. I was really annoyed seeing the condition in MULTIPLE cups almost all of them were filthy. I think I saw 1 clean cup in total. Let’s take better care of the fish that are in *your care*. This was at the Argentina location in Mississauga.

Maia! Thank you very much for pick my healthy fishes. More than 1 year later, and the glow fish that she gave are still alive. Ps, if youre going for the glow fish, go for the pink colors, they are the survivors.

Pam was really nice and helpful. She helped and suggested essential products needed for a new puppy. This location is a great place for questions and thoughts about your pets and environment is so welcoming. 5/5 for me!

Ben was excellent with Maple and did a amazing job in grooming her. Maple was happy to see him and will be back for her next trimming.

I just discovered this location a short while ago and have been here a handful of times. The staff, in my experience, are very friendly and helpful. Especially on my last visit. A young man helped me to pick out the appropriate items for my new puppy. He took his time and explained various products. I don't know his name but if ever reading this, Thanks a bunch! I highly recommend this place.

Best employees! Every time we have gone into the store, we have asked for their advice re: dog bed, food, treats, grooming and they are always so kind and good with their advice and help. We have a dog who hates getting her nails trimmed and they treat her with so delicately and gently. Love this store!

While other PetSmarts take phone-orders for curbside pick-up, this store does not. This is a significant inconvenience and flaw. How can customers purchase pet food when the online website is not working and customer service does not answer the phone?

I was so confused about buying a kennel for my 9 months old airedale doodle for his upcoming flight. All staff members in the store were very helpful. I ended up buying a fairly big sized kennel and one of the staff member also offered me to help carry the kennel till the parking lot. Sorry ladies I didnt get any of your names, but you all are just amazing,

One female staff on the phone is very rude and doesn't know much about her job. Manager should train her how to talk over the phone.

It says it’s open for instore shopping but when I drove all the way here, pregnant, the woman wouldn’t let me inside and said they are only doing curb-side pickup. She was quite rude, but I wouldn’t have been so offended if that information was disclosed here and on their website in advance.

Customer service was good! Organization of store is good, smaller location compared to the others. They don't have much stuff for birds, so I didn't get what I came here looking for. Probably won't return due to this. Had to drive all the way to Heartland to get it. Other than that, loved meeting little furry guys around the store.

Found everything I needed. Plus a Halloween costume for my dog in the right size. Everyone i talked to was friendly anf helpful. Good covid safety precautions.

Excellent and prompt customer service at fish section and cash register. The staff is always ready to help, welcoming and smiling. That's why I keep coming to this store!

The manager here is extremely knowledgeable and it's where we always go to purchase cat food. Sometimes i purchase fish here but the aquatic plants aren't as well kept as Heartland PetSmart.

Staff is very helpful and informative. I brought my bearded dragon with me when I first got him. A young man was able to give me some helpful tips and tricks on his care. Not to mention, my dogs love going shopping and receiving lots of pets and a treat at the cashier.

We brought home our forever puppy today but we had no supplies. Maya, the store employee, went above and beyond and spent an hour with us picking out collar, leashes, shampoo, comb, food, dish, treats and toys. The cashier, I didnt remember her name, guided us to buy the coupon book and helped me save over $50. The Argentia store is the GREATEST!

Never has the product quality I require. Product is always under stocked, causing me to make multiple trips to obtain enough product.

Absolutely disappointed with the solution of the grooming team when you book over two weeks in advance and was emailed on the day of the appointment confirming my puppy's attendance. Only to be told 90 mins before her bathing and grooming appointment that they are now unable to take her.

This is unacceptable in a busy pet lover's life to be told on the 11th hour that they can no longer do what was promised. I would not recommend Petsmart Argentia as a place for you to book your grooming appointment because you may be disappointed

I've been going here for years which all of my dogs, they do a great job in the salon and are always quick with appointments and wait times. The last few times I have noticed my dog coming back from a nail trimming with longer than I thought nails so I would be cautious to check but other than that they are great!

I have been going to this location for years. Great selection of products and well stocked aisles.
Chantal is an amazing groomer and I have been going to her for years. She is my preferred groomer but all of them are great. Never have to worry about my pup while in her care.

Other than this store being a happy place, the employees and managers are always nice. You always get the extra help and suggestions which is great. Better than the heartland location.

I love this place! I got to adopt a rabbit named Duchess, the lady that help us was so kind and helpful! She even showed us what we should buy for Duchess!

Excellent! Every time I've been to this location there's always someone willing to help me and answer my questions whenever I need something. The variety of products is endless (food, grooming supplies, clothing, toys, accessories). The cashiers are nice and fast, also Jessie and Peter are great, best customer service ever! I do recommend this specific location to every pet parent, you will definitely have a pleasant time while shopping here!

Got my first fishtank from this location which was on sale. Really nice people who work here that helped me out figuring out what I needed and also helped me load the tank and cabinet into my suv.really nice selection for fishtank supplies.
