Only one cashier was working when we visited. The cashier was taking way too much time trying to cash out a pair of customers. Line got long with zero moment. Instead of paying for back up, she just kept discussing one item at a time with a cart full of items.
Spoke to manager about the incident before we left. She didn't seem to care either. Amazing.
Took my Golden Retriever for Grooming. Should’ve trusted all negative reviews about grooming for this place. Brought back a traumatized dog home. It took us few days to understand what’s wrong. Noticed multiple cut marks on leg and tail. Really pathetic to realize what my dog had to go through. Never going back there.
To whom it may concern, I have been taking my Pup to Pet Smart Richmond Hill for a couple of years. We absolutely love going there for Shopping, Daycare and Training. Highly recommended!
I was trying to grab a cart but one of the customers put his/her bike on the way of getting the cart and I asked for the workers' help nobody answered me for like 10mins. The second thing is that I came there for a cat water fountain which you stated on your websites "only a few left" so I went there directly hoping I can get one. Till I get there I double checked the website and it still shows "only a few left". How-the-hell-ever, it's out of stock. It's the second time I experienced this situation at this petsmart Something must be wrong with your tech team regarding this out of date data keeps messing up with your customers
2nd time they cancelled grooming on the same day. Apparently they no longer groom big dogs. I was not informed when I booked the appointment. Good bye petsmart.
There is only cat sale. There is no dog type sale. There is absolutely no variety when you want to buy a pet.you can only find the animals to eat. Bird breeds are very few. Aquarium variety is very small. Dissatisfied.
PetSmart's culture and space has evolved so much in the past 10 years since I have been there.
Staff are friendly, approachable and always willing to help. Products are sorted well.
Our Morkie puppy Money loved his puppy classes with Trainer Rachel who was a joy to work with! We will be continuing puppy education with this location.
Love the groomers here! When our puppy first came he was terrified and would scream really loudly. After a few appointments it was very clear how much the groomers had guided my puppy to tolerate baths. The staff try to get to know you and your dog. Which makes things more special and unique. They also gave me advice and tips to train him at home to be more comfortable with grooming sessions. This is one of my favourite PetSmarts to go to.
Petsmart is always one of my favourite places. I was impressed by how open and airy and clean this one seemed, and they had quite a few pets for adoption the day i visited too. A one-stop pet store for finding a new best friend and making them part of your life!
I just want to mention a good experience that i had with one of the staff "Vicky" in grooming salon.she is more than amazing. I took Coco my 6 years old cockapoo to get groomed. (Sunday October 16th). Vicky was very gentle and patient with Coco.she handled my dog with care. That is all i can ask for.it was actually Coco's 4th time having a great experience with her. Thank you vicky for all you do.
Has all the essentials, my experience below was before lockdown. Staff was quite rude, I asked for help for something at the back of their bulk shelves and he said they are the same items at the front row when it clearly wasn't.
Then he says he is too busy filling online orders and I will have to wait. Waited for 15 minutes and still no help, had to resort to myself climbing up one of their bulk shelves in the back to get what I needed, took all of one minute. I'm sure PetSmart does not want customers to do this themselves, but if I'm wrong, please let us know.
Also, this is probably corporate's fault, there is barely enough staff to do anything, Tiki Cats is always sold out. I haven't seen the shelves remotely close to being filled at all in that section.
I exactly like this, first choice of being a animal dad. So i did alot of research and talk to petsmart workers in their experience in the field about beginners parents in animals, so spend crazy amounts of time inside and and i was a happy customer not to talk about the crazy spending but of you love your pets you should this store
The staff that helped me in the fish section wasn't the friendliest, but the cashier was cheerful. This location doesn't have the cleanest fish dept and is much dirtier than the location closer to my house.
No service in the store, even the adopt apartment either. I want to ask some information about the cat, he saw me and run away. Excuse me? And the cashier was worse too. Last time enter the wrong price, this time don’t let me use my coupon. Hope they will upgrade their working skills immediately.
Terrible service for curbside pickup at High Tech store in Richmond Hill. It took a very long time for someone to pick up the phone for my arrival call. Then they somehow dropped my order. When I finally noticed that many who arrived after me were served, I was forced to call again to let them know that I was there to pick up my order. Finally received my order. What a huge frustrating waste of my time!
We brought our dog for haircut today and this was the second time we brought her there. The first time was great and they gave her a great haircut.she's not a big dog and she's a very friendly one. The only reason was to get a haircut. They offer all the upsell services which we didn't mind paying a little extra as long as she got her haircut. They told us it will take about 3 hours so we left her there after about almost 2 hours they called us to tell us that she wasn't cooperating but they did give her a bath and a blow dry and that we need to come and pick her up. The reason they didn't give her a haircut was because she laid down on the table and wasn't standing and they didn't want to lift her but they did give her a blow dry. They gave us 50% discount so we ended up paying $52 for a bath and a blow dry neither of which we needed because we bath her ourselves in 10 minutes at home and we definitely do not need the blow dry. All we needed was them to give her a haircut, because she has long hair and gets very hot in the summer and that is it. They kept her there for 2 hours and didn't touch even a single hair, although the place was completely empty when we brought her and the only reason for that that I can think of is to justify the charge of the $52 for the bath which we didn't need. If you see that it's not going well call us right away we'll take her.don't give her services which we do not need and do not want and did not ask for on their own because all we needed eventually was a haircut nothing else. Needless to say we will not come back there again
Called this place twice and they were very helpful and knowledgeable. I believe the guy’s name that helped me was Brett. Sorry if I got it wrong but either way, super helpful! Called Kennedy common’s location prior and they were very rude and no help at all. Thank goodness for high tech location!
I am not sure it is because this location is busier than the other locations but their speed for fetching up my online order is SLOWER than other places. My orders are mostly fetched within one day in Elgin Mills location, or they would just pack for me when I was there. However the stuff in this location turned me away when I was there trying to do pick up. And I made the order early in the day.
It's a really clean place and there are markers following regulations for social distancing. The line when I was there was super long due to there only being one cashier register open to service but what can you really expect in these times.
Prices were pretty good, a lot of things on sale. Bought all sorts of things for my new german shepherd and everybody there was very friendly (including the pets).
I like this location - plenty of parking and huge selection of wet and dry food, as well as toys. Staff is always helpful, but can be a little hard to track down.
I like this location a lot. The groomers are friendly and flexible, and tolerant of a variety of weird dog behaviours. Our dog often defecates when getting her nails clipped. (I swear she didn’t learn that trick from me!)
The "fish expert" knew some things but not others. Nice variety of fish though. Would not recommend if looking for tips or are a first time keeper. Go to Big Al's they have more experience.
The stuff was very friendly and very helpful! I believe her was Sarah and she took the extra time to look up to see if another store carried the product that I was looking for. She said it was not something they would but she did for me anyway.
Very disappointed in the joking nature of the cashier today. Made a joke about me being a dog and how he would offer us treats in a rude manner. He decided to continue joking about it even when it was clear I did not appreciate it, telling me that I should sit like a dog for the treat. Not sure if it is because I am Chinese, but regardless it was unprofessional and I am very disappointed.
Sanaz and Jessica were amazing grooming with my new pup! The whole team was very welcoming and knowledgeable. Another shout out to Chris for all the pet food info for a first time dog owner!
Staff in the grooming section are lovely. Wish I remembered her name as she has always been so nice to deal with. I'm giving five stars for her and her exceptional demeanor.
I love going to PetSmart with my husband and my new puppy who is 4 months old. I'm just a little disturbed by something that happened today. We were trying on new harnesses for our dog and my dog would never run away but the store associate thought she would so she came over and told us that our puppy is loose, we understand that she must be on a leash at all times but I know my dog walked over and didn't leave our aisle.
The store associate then walked over ten minutes later, was all over my dog and kissed her on the mouth, I did not appreciated that at all. You should never kiss someone else's dog on the lips, by any circumstance PERIOD. This is my dog and it made me have a lot of anxiety when the store associate did that. Yes, you may touch my dog, ask me first. This dog is in training to be my service dog. She didn't have a vest on because she is too young but we are training her. I don't mind her being pet by other people, because I give people permission. But don't be all over my dog by kissing her in the lips! Disgusting!
Side note, great products, other friendly associates. And in the near future we will be using Pet's Hotel, Daycare, and Dog Grooming services. We love the toy selection, and other great selection of things for our dog. We were both just disturbed by the situation that happened.
I have my Standard Poodle groomed there, by a few different ladies, and have always been pleased! I have to admit I’ve very particular and love her to look like a POODLE. Never disappointed.
Manager, Alissa, was extremely rude the way how she talks to customers. Very bad client experience and bad customer service! Hard to believe such kind of attitude can be in client facing role.
Our groomer, Sanza, really cared for our pet, despite our dog being really nervous for her 1st puppy cut. And even though two other groomers called in sick, she wad professional and maintained a positive attitude and customer service.
Also, the person at the check out (don’t know her name.long curly hair dark brown with purple ombre) was very helpful and patient in recommending the right products for our pup. She recommended some booties that our dog actually kept on during her walk! And helped with a new harness.
A worker in the fish part of the store was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! Im happy to see that the fish were not being mistreated as badly as in the other locations ive been to.
