Kyle and another staff arrived within the timeframe previously texted to me the day before to install my new pool pump. They were friendly, answered my questions with clarity and were very professional. The completed the job quickly and let me know when they were done! The price of the installation was extremely reasonable and fair. I would highly recommend them!

Brian was a great help ordering parts for my pool. Got the right part for my pool in a week. Customer service is A1. Brian will go the extra mile to get what you need. Pioneer Pools Markham is the
best pool company in the area, hands down.

Our 10 month old tub suddenly stopped working in February. Ken at Pioneer immediately identified that the tub was under warranty and dispatched Elite to diagnose the issue.
Ken was extremely responsive during what turned out to be a two month period as Elite gradually replaced most of the working parts. Ken worked with the factory in California and Elite in Oshawa and ultimately a resolution was found in the form of a factory tested pressure switch from the manufacturer.

Absolutely wasted money on the service, the first photo taken before the service, and the second one taken three days after the service. I was told that "The one time clean was a brush, vacuum, backwash and add chemicals. As the service crew stated to get your pool back to “blue” you would need more maintenance", I wouldnt use the service again, will file a compliant.

Had my pool for 6 years now. No problems and working great. Brian is instrumental in keeping things going right and customer service doesn’t end when the pool is done.

1) their staff are not well trained.when you ask about a product or service, they shrug their shoulders and start making the customer discomfortable.

2) owner 's wife who is managing the store is extremely rude and a unwelcoming person. She was arguing with a client in front of us and using completely nasty words. I did not catch exactly what was about but the gentleman was calm and that person from the store and other staff kept yelling at him.

3) The store is disorganized and they easily lose their records of orders and payments. Then they accuse the customer and treating them unprofessionally. They denied the payments and ask the customer to repay.
Simply do not trust their promises and make sure to keep all the records.

Have been a loyal pioneer pools markham customer for 6 years. Called Oct 4th to request a hot tub closing, my credit card was immediately charged the fee. 3 weeks later no call received, no one showed up. Called in twice to follow up and was advised I would get an update.nothing. Over 4 weeks later got a call from the manager Lisa who indicated they don't do hot tub closing service and that it was a "favor" to me that they accepted it in the first place. In utter shock, I didn't know it was a privilege to have my business accepted by pioneer pools, and you charged me for a service you now claim you don't do, wow. Offering no acceptance of fault and no renumeration of their utter incompetence, I'm no longer a customer of this company and recommend everyone to look elsewhere for their pool and spa needs.

The worse experience ever in canada dealing with pioneer pool at hwy7, never comes on time, leave the job in the Middle without completing it, drop you as a cx during the job, not at their words, louzy job of what they do, they come to do the job when you are not around, will never recomend them to anyone, never deal with them whatsoever, will spread the word in my community and at my work and every where around in Markham,

Worst customer service I have ever come across. Purchased parts and install. Sold a chemical feeder and told it came with all of the parts. It didnt. Paid for install in advance. Install wasn't done properly and in October (after season and pool closing), I'm being told they are still waiting for the parts. No help whatsoever when I asked about correcting this and to continue to waiting for essentially, plumbing tubing and connectors. In the end, Nick (Customer Service at Markham location) hung up the phone.

All the bad reviews speak for itself. Since they hired new staff they are rude and very unprofessional. I came to buy pool chemicals and Lisa was very unknowable and rude. Dont waste your time or money here

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY AT ALL! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY!
First time pool owners fully trusted this company to close and open our pool after spending significant amount of money buying from them a custom pool cover and a new pump. I was personally there for all the services and I asked them if the equipment was ok for closure and opening. They came late for the service and rushed to open my pool at the end of their day. For 300$+ they were here for 15 mins, leaving our custom cover, unwrapped, at the side of the pool and frank dirt floating around in our pool. They said everything was okay. I found out after they left that equipment they "winterized" was not working. Our salt system and heater is now broken, when they worked perfectly well before the winter. I contacted them right away and their answer was "It's not our responsibility to teach you how to open and close the pool, nor how to winterize a salt system or heater. " SO UNPROFESSIONAL.

What a wonderful experience. We so welcomed be Martha. She made the process easy. We purchased a caldera hot tub with a covana oasis retractable cover. Amazing! Thank you Pioneer Pools.

Had very bad experience with them. Terrible pool opening, not enough chemicals added, water level was to hi and didn’t go through filters, had to pay extra for vacuuming. They come in 2 days after the booking day, didn’t like the water color and went back. After many attempts to reach them, said don’t bother them and find another company to take care of pool.

Brian of Pioneer Pools Markham was one of the most helpful and supportive people I've met. From the initial meetings, transparency on the pricing models, recommendations of other services (gas, electrical, fencing, etc.), it was overall a very good user experience.

Although we were unable to proceed with our pool due to complications with the town & permit process, Brian provided any support and assistance where he could throughout the process. From drawings to guidance, it was nice to have a vendor who offered to spend that extra time and effort to help us through the process.

I would recommend those looking for a pool to reach out to Brian of Pioneer Pools Markham - they won't be disappointed.

I wish I can rank it with NO star. The pool opening service is extremely bad bad bad!
- Bag the debris and put in into my side lawn and didn't took to the street.
- Poorly rolled up your winter blanket and didn't tie it up
- They washed the wither blanked and all the the debris went to the bottom of the pool, they didn't vacuum or clean up the pool
- they put minimal chemicals into the pool with NO Stabilizer at all
- no Wash waterline area and general pool decking area.
- they don't activitate filtration system
- they don't check Check plumbing and equipment for any leaks.
- They don't add any further chlorine needed to ensure proper water balancing.
- No heater start up
- don't Check heater for any damage or leaks.
- don't Clean the heater, and light the pilot light.
It cost $400 for a 13' x 36" pool with just a single trip.
** Will NEVER come back again!
If you have money, go somewhere for better service. It is a pain to do all the follow works which suppose to be their Jobs

Waited nearly 20 mins in there. 5 staff.just me and 1 more customer. 1 guy walked passed and put food in the microwave, then would not even look at me! I gave up, will go somewhere else!

We recently purchased a Caldera Spa from Pioneer Pools and had the pleasure of dealing with Martha. Martha was just amazing to deal with! She was extremely knowledgeable about all their spas and associated products and helped us make the perfect decision for our family.
