Andy and his crew installed 3 fibreglass pools in our street. Everything from the start to the end went well. The guys are very friendly and work well with other contractors. We are very happy with the end result. I would highly recommend them.

I give it a 1 because I can’t give it a 0. Never again will I spend a cent at this store. Their poor attitude today enforced that again. I highly recommend that anyone shop elsewhere.

To Respond: Sorry but that’s a poor answer. The product I bought was not in its normal condition as I have used it before. It was hard and looked like moister got to it, which caused the release of extra gases. I was never close to it nor did I even try to inhale it, it was simply so potent that being around it still caused the issues I had. Again no apology and no offer of even my money back, even though I left it on the counter and walked out.

Was sold a chlorine chemical that was not stored properly and had extreme toxic gas as soon as I opened it that caused my lungs to struggle breathing, coughing, wheezing and vomiting and almost sent me to a hospital. When I returned it to them they didn’t offer me my money back or even a simple apology and disregarded me by saying this is normal. Bravo to them for failing on customer service with flying colors. I will not spend another penny here.

We recently purchased our first Hot Tub from Pioneer Pools in Newmarket and had excellent service. Chris Currah did an amazing job from start to finish, answering any questions or concerns we had. He was always available every step of the way and provided updates throughout the process. The other staff members have also been very welcoming and friendly each time we enter the store. 10/10 all round!

Every step of the way Pioneer Pools goes above and beyond. Question, issue, advice, Chris is always available. Dave recently handled a warranty manufacturer defect for us and made sure to keep us updated through the process and we trusted he was going to resolve it (which he did). Thank you!

Melissa Alary went above and beyond to help me find the much need and not easy to find parts for my pool heater. Her customer service and determination speaks volumes!

Wonderful experience. Chris and the staff are very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. This was our first hot tub and Chris walked us through the options and helped us make the best choice. After install, they followed up with us, asked us to bring in water samples and checked to make sure everything was running well. Great advice and service.

We are SO happy that we went with Pioneer to build our pool! We got a few quotes done before going with them, and Mark Mawson was the only one who came with tools to measure the space and grading. He also came with his landscape person so that we could discuss the options.

Once we decided to go with them, Mark was so quick to get our contract to us, and the arrangement to start was done fast. Mark was always so fast at getting back to us with any questions that we had. Picking the liner was a huge decision and we kept going back and forth with what we wanted. He was amazing at walking us through all of it, and sending us pictures and options.

I can’t say enough about the installer Junior (Jake). He is amazing at what he does, and he was even great with our kids. Our kids were so excited during this entire process, they loved watching him and his team. He was always so amazing at answering our questions, so calm and understanding (as I’m sure a lot of our questions were annoying to him lol). The entire installation was so quick and they were always there on time when they said they would be. They were fast and efficient.

The entire process was perfect and we can’t wait to start swimming next Spring!

The staff is knowledgeable and always helpful. Prices are very competitive with similar pool/spa stores in the area.

I had terrible experience with t, he services, we took water sample to the store, was told to clean the salt generator and add super shark, few days later, didnt see any improvement (phone 1), went back to the store and asked for one-time cleaning service, The crew was sent to the site on Friday and performed a brush, vacuum, backwash and add chemicals, on the following Monday, the pool turned "green" again (photo 2), I asked for a resolution and was told I have to buy the weekly maintenance, I will never use this company again.

Charlotte and Melissa gave the best advice on balancing my water chemistry. Excellent customer service. Helped me troubleshoot issues going on with my pump and filter. Always greeting me with the biggest smiles. Love these girls!

This has been one of the best experiences we've had in the past 10 years. Very professional and friendly! Amazing customer service. Chris was always ready to give advice and feedback and attend to all our needs regarding our unique setup. Delivery was as promised, even through the pandemic delays. Great job - we're very excited about our hot tub!

Pioneer has come through for me 3 times now. They had fittings and hose when I needed to replace a solar heater for aboveground pool. When my pump died they had a reasonably priced replacement in stock. When fittings were different they had a solution for that as well. Thank you to your staff for there help and patience.

Rude customer service and service techs. The service tech showed up to our home without notifying us about an appointment, when I questioned him he got rude. Then he had the nerve to call my husband and ask him if I opened his van and stole the paperwork. Extremely unprofessional. When customer service called us back they questioned us again to which we happily sent them our home security video to them which clearly shows no one entering the van and rude the
comments he had towards us. Will never us the services again.

Bought my first hot tub from Pioneer Family Pools. Had very little knowledge on the process but Chris helped out with all the steps to get it installed along they way and made the process very easy. Went from a boring back yard to one that I can't get my wife out of in less then a month!

I needed some pool parts that other places did not carry. Pioneer had everything in stock that I needed. The staff were super helpful and friendly. They are definitely worth giving your business.

My experience with the service department at Barrie Pioneer Pools was exceptional. Both Carrie and Britney were pleasant and easy to work with. Carrie was kind enough to walk me through the pool care process as I am very new to pool ownership. They were both very helpful and patient. I would highly recommend them

Recently purchased a hot tub from him last month and have recommended him to many family and friends. Not only will you be educated on the many areas of the product and become an expert in it yourself, but you will also receive friendly caring service that you don't find too often with many businesses. Chris and his whole team will make you feel right at home. Love this spot!

My wife and I love our new hot tub we bought from Chris at Pioneer Pools! The installation crew was excellent and took the time to explain the operation of the hot tub. The staff at Pioneer has been really helpful with testing our water and giving us water care tips. The only snag came with getting the hot tub to us, but, that seems to be an American supply chain backlog issue with a lot of stuff during the pandemic.

Awesome experience! Everyone we dealt with was so responsive, helpful and super attentive. Chris in sales, Kelli at the warehouse making all the arrangements and Scott, Patrick and the rest of the installation crew. I know this will not happen at the beginning of the season, but we got our above ground installed faster than expected. We are very pleased and would highly recommend Newmarket/Barrie Pioneer Pools!

Worst customer service!
tryed to order hot tub cover, on web-site filled in info, was replyed: we dont accept online form.need to print and bring to store.ok- did it.in store sales person did not have any clue to any extra questions about the form (lots of option). Was told to fill the online form (pointless) after was told to leave it will get a call beck.no reply, no confirmation of any kind

After having a beyond impressive above ground pool purchase/install with Pioneer Family Pools in Barrie, it was without a thought that we would continue to have our pool supplies purchased from their Newmarket location (which is more local for us). Ordered our chemicals online and they contacted me within the same hour for curbside pickup. Arrived at the store and the order was brought out to me in seconds! Wow! Thanks Pioneer Family Pools!

This is the second time we purchased a spa from Pioneer. New house, left the old one behind (did we miss that spa!) so it was time for a new one. Chris at Pioneer was upfront and honest about the delivery delays beyond anyone's control due to Covid. He guided us through it all without any fuss. Now we have it, it is fabulous, just like our second experience purchasing from Pioneer. Thank you Chris!

Ordered/paid for an umbrella from this store and I never received it. Called multiple times, they gave me a floor model umbrella, now almost a year later and I still never receive my umbrella stand or even a call/update.

We bought a spa from Pioneer Newmarket. Although understandable it was not delivered on time due to the pandemic, Chris and the whole delivery team was very professional on keeping us updated and answering our questions. When it did arrive, both the set up team and delivery (crane) team was very quick, polite, did a very clean job and gave us all the information we needed as well as answer all our questions. It has been 3 months now since we had the spa. No issues so far. Chris has been great, checking up on us to make sure everything is working and whether we have any questions. I would highly recommend them if you are thinking of buying a spa. It is a big purchase and one you want to make sure it ia done right. A big thank you to Pioneer Newmarket team.

Ordered the Innova Stream Spa at the end of December. Delivery came end of January. Jay & Mark delivered and were very pleasant! They were helpful in explaining the set up and answering our questions.
Chris has been very helpful also! We can call or text anytime with questions and he's always there to help! Overall it's been a wonderful experience with the staff! The tub is also great, working well! Had it hard wired and the temperature holds steady at 104. It has even hit 105 on a few occasions!

I purchased my first ever hot tub (a HotSpring Vanguard) from Pioneer Pools. Chris in sales was very helpful, and always prompt and pleasant answering my (many) questions regarding water chemistry and energy efficiency (my purchasing priorities).
Delivery staff were terrific in scheduling to meet my needs, and getting the tub into the exact position I wanted with no issues.
I just had my first soak and so far the quality of the tub and water chemistry seem excellent!
I highly recommend.

I had the privilege of working at Pioneer Family Pools in Newmarket this past summer and I am upset this season had to come to a close. From day one, I felt comfortable and confident to approach management with anything. Both Jordan and Melissa made my time at Pioneer very enjoyable. They went above and beyond for both customers and employees every day. I was able to come into work daily with a sense of excitement and joy knowing I was able to work alongside them. Jordan and Melissa are excellent examples of management who care about the safety and well being of their employees. I will continue to recommend Pioneer Family Pools as a great place to shop as well as a great place to work.

Pioneer installed me swimming pool liner, staff were amazing, and the end result was just as I wanted it to.
I also purchase my supplies from there, and highly recommend them.
My only recommendation was if there was more clarity and communication on the installation date, but overall, 5 Stars.

Pioneer Family Pools Newmarket is a fantastic business and I will not use any other company. The in-store staff always welcoming you into the store, answering all my questions and providing friendly assistance, as well as the technicians who came out to my house for work to be done on my pool equipment, who are very knowledgeable and happy to share that knowledge with me. This is a great team, led by an excellent manager. Jordan went above and beyond to help me out and removed a great deal of stress you get sometimes with owning a pool. We get thw Xs model and Chris was the guy that guides us through all the process of getting or first spa.
First of all, the hot tub was to arrive at the end of September and surprisingly it came early. Jay and Mark came to install the spa, they were very knowledgeable and helpful with the process.
We had a small problem with the the drain of the hot tub which was resolved within days upon installation. We are very impressed with the size, quality, and comfort the tub provides. It is much more spacious then we had anticipated but really love the size. Managing the chemicals has been a learning curve but we are getting the hang of it with the support of the people at Pioneer. We very much recommend taking the time to read the manual because there is a lot to understand that can make the experience more enjoyable. Very happy with the choice and purchase. Thanks to Pioner For all the guidance and support.

Purchased our first hot tub from Pioneer Pools in Newmarket and we couldn’t be happier. After visiting multiple hot tub dealers and looking online, it was easy to decide on shopping at their location. The salesman Chris was knowledgeable and easy going. There was never any pressure to “buy now” and he even put up with our kids having to sit in every tub and seat.
We bought the Hot Spring Pulse and the delivery was fantastic. Jay and Mark were professional and quick. Excellent team for scheduling and setup.
The staff at the store are phenomenal at helping you with water samples and are happy to see you, even if you’re in multiple times in the first week.

I have been calling this store for 2 days, consistently without one answer or returned call. This is not great customer service; considering I am following up on a missed service call that was scheduled to happen.
Very disappointed - at least pick up the phone to address this issue!

We loved our experience at Pioneer Pools in Newmarket. The whole team is always willing to help, answer questions and provide us with options that fit our needs. We love the hot tub Chris set us up with - and we’ve gone back to ask questions, or called and he’s always willing to do what he can to ensure that any issue is resolved for us! Pioneer Pools Newmarket does it all. Very knowledgeable staff that go above and beyond answering questions. I replumbed my pool shed and was surprised how many fittings, unions and valves etc.they stocked with pricing comparable or lower then big box stores.

Being a new pool owner the staff got my water in check by testing it and describing what to do with all the different chemicals. Again surprised how little I spent getting that done. Thanks

I had Pioneer Pools build an inground swimming pool for me in Newmarket. It was built last fall and opened up now for the spring. I am very pleased with the entire experience. The people we dealt with were all very good to deal with, and very knowledgeable. The pool looks perfect and is exactly what we wanted. Everything was done very professionally and communication was good throughout. I never felt pressured in the buying process, and as a new pool owner they have been very helpful in teaching me about the equipment etc. I recommend them highly.

Ever since moving to Newmarket, it was a revelation finding Pioneer Pools. The team there is a pleasure to deal with and they are so helpful and kind. Randy has been beyond helpful for this pool rookie.

I called this company today to make sure they were open because our area was experiencing a snowstorm. The gentleman answered and told me that yes they were open and he would be there until five. Just a half an hour later he contacted me and told me that his head office had now asked the store to close due to the storm so staff could safely get home. He never knew my name or ever met me before but he had the initiative to do what the best people do and that is he went to every effort to contact Me by using the means of call display. He ensured that I did not come there and find the store closed. This person is a keeper and Pioneer pools should take care of him well and treat him with great respect as he treats their customers with the upmost respect.
