We've had an amazing experience from the first call to book a consultation to the pool closing.

We dealt with Bryn from Oakville. We had a complicated back yard with a lot of issues (small entry, big tree, awkward layout, etc). He looked for solutions from the get go, was creative with the options and made everything happen incredibly fast. He was super confident with what we could and could not do. Also very responsive which is of course important to home owners. While I was a bit of a nervous wreck at every step, he managed to calm my nerves.

All the crew has been fantastic as well. The speed at which they move is amazing. Also super friendly and accommodating.

Have not regretted the choice to get the liner pool with Pioneer (and we did our homework). 10/10 in my books.

Once my family decided we wanted to put in a pool, we started our search for a reputable pool company and interviewed 5 different companies. My project was large and involved landscaping the entire yard. When I called Pioneer Pools, the professionalism was immediately apparent. Bryn came out to measure and explain the process. He helped us understand our options and what was available to us. Bryn put us in touch with a landscape company that Pioneer works with. The entire project was managed between Bryn and the landscape company, and they made it extremely easy for us to bring our dream yard to reality. Bryn and the Pioneer team have been very responsive to any questions we had, even long after the pool was installed (May 2022). I with out a doubt would recommend Pioneer Pools and Bryn to install your pool. I have added pictures of our backyard oasis.

Do not buy your swimming pool from this place! The one star was given for their OK pre-sale support. We have had very poor after-sale experience dealing with this store. A deposit cheque was given to Pioneer Pool last year on April 14 of 2021 and despite numerous promises (on record) from the sales manager Marcel, that our pool would be installed in September (then October), their installers never came. We were promised to be their first installation this year (2022), but seems now after multiple phone calls, we have no idea if their installers would come as promised. Either this business has no idea how to manage their work crew or they have the habit of promising their customers the sky just to secure a sale with no shame! We are now planning our next steps to escalate this matter … stay tune for an update.

Oct 11,2022 update:
After my initial review posting, Pioneer Pools reached out to me immediately, which is a good sign that the business cares about its reputation. It was another few weeks before the installers came to put the pool together. Turns out the guys are from a different company. Explanation given was that the long wait time has been a common problem related to the pandemic. Our pool installation did not go smoothly and a part was missing, preventing the pool cover to be set up. It was not until another couple of weeks of waiting before we have the pool cover. Without the cover, we were kept busy cleaning the pool from leaf droppings and keeping the water chemistry correct. Finally, one of the side panels was not sized properly so it is currently showing a gap (see photo). The installers promised to order a new panel as replacement. It’s been now two months of wait and we have not heard from them yet.

In review, Pioneer Pools has been helpful with pushing along our pool installation and the store manager has been very apologetic about the delays we have experienced, compensating us with extra pool chemicals and cleaning equipment. I will therefore update my rating for Pioneer Pools based on the more recent experience.

The pool installer finally returned on June 1 2023 to fix the panel gap issue (thanks to Pioneer). Updated photo showing the finished look.

5 star treatment from start to finish! We had interviewed a few different pool companies when planning our pool project and Pioneer Pools was head and shoulders above the rest. Bryn Evans at Pioneer took the time to fully explain all of our options as well what could be potential roadblocks to making our backyard dream into a reality. He was totally honest and transparent with us from the start where the other pool companies remained tight lipped and only wanted to get to the final “quote” not telling us about additional dollars that would have needed to be spent. Needless to say, we chose pioneer on this aspect as well they weren’t even close to being the most expensive. Bryn provided me the names of different contractors when I asked for them and THEY did not disappoint either. Our paradise project is now done and we still can’t believe how beautiful the final result is. Bryn was with us every step of the way to answer questions as well he would always reach out to us well in advance to keep us in the loop for what would be happening next and what to expect. We were never ever left in the dark. Another person I should mention is Brian who oversaw the day to day operations of the build. He and his crew were not only very thorough but very courteous and worked hard and efficiently. Brian was also amazing at answering my questions and had all the time in the world for us.
Do not hesitate to use Pioneer Pools! I would recommend them to absolutely anyone in search of an amazing pool experience.

If you are considering purchasing a spa/hot tub you absolutely must ask for Marcel! He's a wealth of knowledge and knows every brand and model inside and out. He listens to your wants and needs and will sell you exactly what you're looking for. He is honest, genuine and a great person, he will not over-sell or under-sell. From the moment you meet to post-install and walk through he will provide 5-star service. 9-months after purchase, my hot tub is one of my most used and favourite purchases for my backyard, I'm in it almost every day or night so if you're contemplating buying one. Just go see Marcel and you'll be so happy you did! Thanks for all you did Marcel!

Was great pleasure working with Brianna and Carlos, on our New Gazebo. The experience and service was great.we love it and we will not spare a minute sitting in it.

It was a pleasure to work with Bryn and his team. Our backyard project needed creativity due to size and grading but with Pioneer team's help, we are able to make our vision to reality. We have been going to Pioneer Pools in Oakville for over 15 years for our pool needs. I have always loved the patio furniture that I had seen in the store. I decided it was time to buy some new furniture for our backyard. I found the Provence dining table and chairs at the Oakville store that I had my eye for some time. I went and spoke with Bri about the set. She was super friendly and very helpful. She set me up with the new furniture and arranged for a delivery date that worked for my schedule. The day of the delivery the 2 men arrived early at my house and put the chairs and table in my garage. They called me when they were on the way to my house and just as they were getting close so I could come out and meet them. All in all a great experience with Pioneer Pool. Thanks Bri and team.

We recently had our pool installed by Pioneer Pools and our delighted with the outcome.

Bryn was really helpful walking us through the whole process, answering all of our questions, and helping us keep calm along the way.

We didn’t realize how many details and steps, and other contractors/partners need to be involved (ie gas, electrical, fencing, landscaping, permitting, etc) but Bryn kept us organized and helped to keep the project on track. We experienced a few delays with our landscaping, so pioneer quickly flexed their schedule to make sure we got our pool opened and complete in time for some end of season swims.

We LOVE our pool and all of the help from the pioneer team along the way. Everyone we worked with from Pioneer were fantastic. We highly recommend this fabulous team for anyone else looking to install a pool.

We had an inground pool installed earlier this summer. It's a big investment and can be a dauting process. Bryn at Pioneer Family pools made the process as smooth as possible for me and my family. He took care of absolutely everything he could and had great advice to help us with some of the decisions we had to make about our pool. We are first time pool owners, so we had a ton of questions and Bryn was always happy to patiently give us his time and answer all our question. The build started and finished ahead of schedule (a very pleasant surprise, we were not expecting). The pool builders (Ryan and his team) did a fantastic job from start to finish. They were professional, also happy to answer my millions of questions and most importantly always respected our family, our property and our neighbours. We've had quite a few pools built in the neighbourhood the last couple of years and I had quite a few neighbours come to me and let me know how impressed they were with how clean the job site always was and how respectful the building team was. As a first-time pool owner, I felt incredibly well supported throughout the entire process whether it was from Bryn, Ryan, the orientation team or the maintenance team that helped with my end of season pool closing just last week. Most importantly the pool turned out just the way we dreamed, and the kids had a ball this summer. Building a pool is a big investment but, in my case, totally worth it! After a lot of shopping around we are thrilled that we went with Bryn and Pioneer Family Pools for our pool project!

I reached out to have my hot tub repaired in July. I continue to experience difficulty getting the issues resolved and with responses from the service department. However, before posting a review about my journey, I would like to invite the owner/manager to discuss.
