Need to improve customer service, especially when flight was late returning to Toronto via Ottawa & lost luggage on connection

Late flight with no communication, lost bag, tried to deliver wrong bag. Bag tagged to wrong passenger. Random email from far away airport saying I could pick up my bag but zero response when attempting to follow up to have the bag delivered to the location specified in the delayed baggage report. Customer support more of a hindrance than help. Traveled with toddlers and a newborn and they cant be bothered to assist.

Compared to Pearson and Air Canada, Porter has been a dream. But lately, base fairs all way on the rise, calling can lead to multiple hour holds…. I’m worried….

Flew in Porter Airlines a Couple of Times and they were on time. Easy convenient without any drama. Quick luggage Services and on board free snacks are available.

Giving 3 star because of 3 hours delay flying 9: 30 AM instead of 6: 30 AM from Edmonton to Toronto, other than that I would say 10 stars, amazing customer service, very friendly staff, fast free wifi, great tasting complimentary wine and snacks

Always a pleasant flying experience with Porter at Billy Bishop Airport. Almost everyone I interact with during my trip are pleasant and helpful.

We just flew Porter out of Pearson to Vancouver. The flight was great and the staff were super friendly and helpful. This would be a five star review but I can't do that. We are a family of four and during our flight to Vancouver and our return flight, our children were seated far away from us. They wanted $50/seat to move them in both flights. The flight to Vancouver, the seats in front of us were empty during check in, and for our return flight, they were taking standbys during boarding. To me, there was no reason to separate a family and this was just a way to squeeze another $200 out of us for our trip. I highly suggest Porter review how seats are selected during check in.

Porter started off with competitive rates and some innovation (free snacks & drinks) but has receded back to the status quo. Prices have increased, and nickel & diming airline practices are supported.
They recently added free wifi to flights, something most airlines continue to gouge for, however Pockets your credit after a year without reason.
When asked, they refuse to give explanation for pocketing your credit and say "it's the policy, " failing to display integrity. Taking advantage of customers like this is known as 'bad profits. '
It builds customer resentment and sends people to other airlines.

An easier business turnaround if they stop branding themselves through this behaviour.

Lots of benefits to flying porter, small airports, easy checkin, no crowds. Free drinks onboard. The downside is small planes, small seats, and poor air quality.

Return flight out of Billy Bishop, flying for the first time with Porter this month. Everything was great! Porter staff were very friendly and helpful. Flights were on time and no issues with my luggage either:)

Not sure what happened to Porter. Used to fly them a lot and recently flew to NY for first time in a while. Disorganized, contradictory info, poor service.

I've had the worst travel experience on Porter Airlines. We were supposed to fly on Sunday. They delayed us to Tuesday (2 day delay). We left on Tues, got 20 min up in the air before they sent us back to Ottawa for plane problems. Now sitting in airport and approaching 3rd day of delays/ no flight. They do not have the number of planes to pivot if they encounter a problem. You will be stuck with taking a plane in 2 days or later. Do not book with them.

It is very small and not busy airport but convenient and clean with high-speed internet connectivity. If you like to take the car with the ferry to the airport, it'll cost you $35, including $5 parking fee.

The stewardess was very rude. A man went to sit with with his son since there was an open seat. That opened the spot next to my girlfriend. The old lady then barked at me that you can only sit in your assigned seat and not to the other guy.

I will not be using Porter Airlines ever again. They have no responsibility for cancellations and travel interruptions.
Our return flight was booked for June 25th. June 29th is when we finally made it home. The original flight was delayed by 4 hours and eventually cancelled, we received an email with a rebooking for June 28th and were expected to stay in New York with no expenses covered by the airline although they were the cause of us having to stay. After hours on hold to customer services, as there was none available to speak to at the airport, we got placed on an evening flight for June 27th which then got cancelled on the morning of June 27th. After many long holds (~1 hour each call) to speak with customer services, as they put us on a July 3rd return, replaced with a June 30th return via Ottawa, they placed us on a June 29th flight. Finally, when on board this flight, the passengers were informed we would be re-routing to Pearson Airport in Toronto rather than the original Billy Bishop route. Overall the service was terrible, the many customer service representatives dealt with over the 4 days were not helpful, and the airline is not covering any expenses. A completely obsurd situation all round. We tried to rent a car, book a bus or train ticket, but everything was booked out due to the number of cancellations - so we were ultimately stuck due to Porters terrible service. We will NOT be traveling with them ever again!

Wow! Why the heaven haven’t we regularly flown on Porter? Talk about awesome experience!

Check-in was super quick since the flights aren’t big. We were greeted with smiles from the gate to leaving the plane. Definitely a wonderful experience given the airline industry tends to lack positivity and enthusiasm.

The plane was brand new and super fresh. The leg room definitely exceeded other coach class flights. The flight attendant was super cool and really nice. We were offered free alcoholic drinks, regular complimentary drinks and a choice of 3 snack - one being cookies which were MMMMM !

We only went from Chicago to Toronto but the entire flight was smooth and comfortable. We definitely could have continued on for a longer duration. We landed at Billy Bishop airport and it was the best, quickest, and easiest airport we have ever been in.

Thank you sooooo much Porter Airlines for blessing us with a beautiful experience and reminding us that touching the sky is as easy as we want it to be .

This is the worst airline I have ever taken so far. If I can zero score, I would.
My flight was cancelled and they notified me only a hour before the planned flight takeoff. It brought me so much trouble and additional cost, and they didn’t even pay for my extra costs because of the flight cancel.
I was re-booked for a next-day Porter flight, I guess the baggage crew treated our bags really rudely, one of our checked bag was broken; a wheel was lost.
The experience with Porter was really bad, I recommend not to take this airline, if you have any problems with them, the customer service is so bad, they do not provide any help, just repeating their standard formal responses, and they don’t care anything about you.

Airport is clean! Customer sevice was super friendly and helpful. The free bevies and snacks during a flight are a nice touch.

Big mistake flying Porter out of Pearson! T3. Bags not delivered for 3hrs at 11.30pm arrival flight. Porter people at counter are not helpful to resolve. They have no control over services in T3. As a avid business flyer this was my first flight with Porter. Can not rely on this airline for business or leisure. STAY AWAY!

Edited 2hrs later. I upgraded my 1 rating to a 2 star. Here is why. The actual flight and the service on the flight are first class. Pilot and cabin crew were fantastic. Very informative. Wine and beer and first class snacks on board. Their Reserve service looked excellent. But not first class seats like the big 5 I travel frequently. This was my first experience with Porter. I still stand by my original comments not to depend on reliable service. Heard about a cancel flight and how those passengers were treated on a earlier flight and again the ground crew staff were not trained and gave misinformation. Overall I will hold out to see if they at least respond. The ground crew at both ends left a lot to be desired. Video is a short clip of ground mgrs reaction to passengers. He ended up becoming combative instead of just using proper conflict resolution techniques.

One of the better airlines I’ve flown lately!

First off we did experience a one hour delay departing from Pearson and were notified the midnight before (12am) for flight that was departing in morning (6: 55am). It was quite last minute but allowed us to plan accordingly rather than get stuck in airport for an extra hour. Also, online checkin require us to go to counter to complete checkin/print passes. Note that the seats had only AC plugs instead of usb plugs.

Now for the good: Amenities were great! For 5hr flight from Toronto to Vancouver, we were offered complementary meal + snack, and drinks including beer/wine. On flight, there was wifi that was fast enough to browse internet, send messages, watch videos at lower quality. This was an awesome experience in general

Billy Bishop airport is wonderfully small and takes a lot of the stress out of travel. There is a few small shops in the terminal with good coffee & Balzac's muffins! The location is amazing with easy access to downtown Toronto.
