Fish is good, fries are excellent.
Only drawback is that they do not have a debit or credit machine, cash only

Just off the Link access, so it is a very busy intersection here. But there is a good sized parking lot, to pull off the streets. New to the area and only been here twice. But so far the woman who works here is so sweet an wonderful. And the food is great. Good portions and not overly greasy.

Ordered Good Friday dinner, was hot, fresh and on time. Thank you for all your hard work! It was crazy busy and the food was still great.

Went to queenston fish and chips on Good Friday it was really busy but worth the wait went back tonight got there fritters they were absolutely amazing and the staff are amazing only place I will go now for fish and chips if u haven’t tried them you should and very reasonable prices I would give it a 10 star if I could

Our amazing regular fish and chips go to is closed on Sundays, and we were really wanting fish and chips. We decided to give this place a try. If you like dry dense fish, under-seasoned fries, and humourously sized infant portions of condiments, this is the place for you. I wouldn't say the food is garbage, but my cat who actively tries to get into the garbage for a buffet meal would touch the piece I offered her. The whole experience was funny but I definitely wouldn't ever go back or recommend them.

Terrible food, terrible service. Cash only restaurant, but they don't bother to tell you that when you order, or have any signs up I'm the restaurant. I ordered at 4: 00 pm for a 5: 45pm pickup and my food was 12 minutes late. Then was told cash only after sitting around for 12 minutes. Guy behind the counter was incredibly rude and seemingly enjoyed the fact that I had to go find cash.

The fish was tough, dry, and greasy. The fries were bland and undercooked. Everything was expensive.

Go anywhere else.

This place has the best halibut and chips. Unlike most other places that over-batters the fish and gives you a smaller piece of fish, this place gives you a generous portion of fish, which is delicious, crisp and not soaked with oil. This has to be the most under rated fish and chips shop in the Hamilton/Burlington area. Getting 5 stars from me is a once a year type of thing.

I will be honest we went to Hutchs on the beach.but we really wanted fish.so we went here. Fish was great.haddock. Fries were not bad. Service a bit salty. Oh cash only. But overall great. Good clean restaurant. Once again fish was good

Best fish! So yummy! Never thought I'd enjoy battered salmon. If you want good fish, go here! Better than Hutch's at confederation Beach by far!

Fish was amazing! Thick pieces and batter was proportionate. Generous serving! Onion rings were very large. Friendly service. Definitely recommending to my fam!

Let's start with the coleslaw - Large is perfect for two. Dressingperfect, cabbage perfect.

Chips - thick, crispy, hot. The only way to have em.

Halibut - perfectly battered and fried, the thick steak of the halibut pairs beautifully with tartar.

Haddock - light, fluffy, flavorful. Amazing.

Good service too - everything wrapped in paper, and NO plastic cutlery! Loved it. Be sure to ask for some if you want it, or bring your own. The lady we spoke to was awesome!

Got the fish and chips with gravy and coleslaw and was cooked perfectly, also tasted fresh. I went on Friday May 28th 2021 around 5: 30 pm approximately and only waited about 15- 20 minutes which was pretty good. I would have given a higher rating but there was a few issues such as the owners wearing their masks pulled down under their chins, yet all the staff were wearing their masks properly. Please wear your mask for customer safety and your safety, it's the Coronavirus law. Parking lot is very tight getting in and out safely. I noticed prices have gone up $7- $8 dollars for the family pack fish and chips, and $2-$2.50 for a single order of fish and chips. Still reasonable prices though. Its CASH ONLY but no signs indicating this, I was told to go across the street to use the ATM machine. I would go back though because I enjoyed the food.

Great staff. The Halibut fish is top notch. Overall, is good. I'm a gravy monster so a bit more gravy would of been great with the poutine.

I was extremely disappointed in this place. I had to pay cash, no utensils were given, no malt vinegar, mayo, tartar sauce, etc. Even after asking for some.
Imagine our surprise when my boyfriend and I drove 15min away to a park to enjoy our meals and nothing to enjoy it with was there!
The fish was good and the portions were alright, thus the extra star, but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

The Cod was small. The Chips were ok. But, I received one packet of salt and NO malt vinegar. Fish, chips, and malt vinegar is like the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Pick your game up

The customer service is regularly speedy, lovely ambience, welcoming employees. I will eat here again when I arrive nearby.

First time here, fish was fresh, nice and light crispy battered. Portion was good, worth the price. Just customer service was not good, also only takes cash. Will definitely come again because I really like the fish.

Had the hailbut and the these are big pieces of fish here. Generous with the chips as well. Take out only. No ATM, so bring cash for your payment.

Dont take debit though thank goodness I had cash on me in these times debit would be more effective than dirty cash

The service was unfriendly. The food was average at best. Fries were mushy. I won't be returning. There are much better fish and chip options than this place.

At the first moment you come to that restaurant the waiters give you an excellent feeling. Very congenial hosts, it is a happy restaurant to enjoy with friends and colleagues or with your date.delicious cooking, creative chief cook and stuff, modest price and professional service. Warmly recommended.

Food was average! Fish portions were small! Staff are rude! Didn't get my fries, had to go back in! I think they purposely don't give you items you paid for to save money on those who done return! Had to pay for coleslaw and it was not very good! Tossed it! CASH ONLY? That's ridiculous specially during covid19, AND there were 13 people waiting inside the small waiting area for orders at one point! Isnt that against the 10 person's gathering? Will not be returning ever! Only went because Union Jack was Closed!

It was the first time trying Queenston Fish &Chips last night and we absolutely loved it. The fish was amazing. It was flaky and not too much batter. Great portion sizes of both fish and chips. The fries were also good. Cooked perfectly. I will definitely be going back. I think I found a great little fish and chips place to go to now.

I called them thursday night for 2 orders of fish and chips and an order of shriimp and it was delicious. The meal was ready quickly, will definitely order from them again

Terrific portions, good price. Fish was really good, light batter and not greasy. First day that I ordered from here, will definitely go back. Much better than I expected.

Only one down side. They only take cash. But the potatoes are fresh cut and the fish is quite tasty with light batter. Worth the wait.

The thickest fish I've ever had! Literally times two of halibut house. Won't eat fish n chips anywhere ELSE. Their gravy is pretty good and onion rings are awesome! Beware, CASH ONLY!

Best halibut & chips we have had since we moved to Grimsby & we have tried a lot of places. This is our fish & chip stop from now on. Friendly staff also.

They are getting very stingy with their portion sizes for fries! Asking for tarter sauce is like asking for their heart!

I usually don't do this but I had to share my experience. First time visit and I will never come back. I love fish and chips, especially from the local places and thought I would try this one. Big mistake.

First, when I walked in the older woman was on the phone having a personal conversation and when I went to order she kept the phone to her ear (she was the only one working). I ordered Halibut and Chips and the woman brought out a FROZEN piece of fish that she battered and deep fried. That's disgusting, in my opinion. I expect fresh fish, not frozen. She undercooked the food and when I got home it was still tough and hard to cut through.

Meanwhile, the woman is on the phone the entire time and even as she packages our food she is doing it with one hand because her phone call was so much more important to her. We had to throw out the food and go out again to another restaurant to get food. I've never written a review but I had to this time, I can't believe the appauling service and food quality. Service and food quality was not good, in my opinion.

CASH ONLY! There is no signs entering the restaurant that tells you cash only. We just over heard someone paying. That being said.
Delicious fish and chips! Batter was so light and tasty! And the entire restaurant bathrooms etc were extra clean and tidy. Very busy spot.

Food was good althought fish sitting out while we had wait for them warm up gravy after we reminded them we ordered it as per the order written on bag but we got ripped off by staff. Ordered 1 haddock/chip dinner and extra pce fish with a gravy. When my daughter picked it up charged her $25.85 when I checked the prices haddock dinner $10 extra piece fish $8 tiny gravy 1.50 even with tax doesn't work out to over $25 guess they just add whatever they want.

Seriously 16 bucks for 4 index finger sized pieces of fish? Cold gravy that looks more like jello? Over cooked fries under cooked fish. 6 dollar delivery from driving from queenston to roxborough. Done. Never order from here again.

Moved here from Toronto a couple of years ago.saw this place and decided to give it a shot.it was amazing! Fish and Chips exactly the way I like them! Reasonably priced and the restaurant is immaculate! (Which I think is VERY important) Staff is very friendly.what else can I say.parking is available although it's a small lot, there's usually spots available.

We always enjoy our trip to Queenston fish and chips. The food is fresh, hot and delicious. (love the potato fritters). The staff are so friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend a visit.
