Queensway Fish And Chips

This place is awesome for fish and chips! Been coming to Queensway Fish and Chips for the past 8 years and I love it. Quality of fish, the friendly fast service, clean restaurant, and great price is what keeps me coming back! The chips are also really good. Halibut and chips is what is pictured.

An institution on Queensway for over 45 years, where my dad used to pick dinner from here! This is a classic, no frills fish and chips diner. The fish was fresh and had a nice ratio of batter to fish. Fries were of the fairly run of the mill, thick cut pub variety. Portion to price ratio, I would have liked to see a bigger piece of fish (ordered the halibut) for $18 (1 piece of halibut, fries and a drink).

Atmosphere wise, it appears the decor was maintained since the late 70s (maybe a refurbishment to keep the look and feel since then?). It's no date place, yet there is still table service.

If half stars were possible, I would give this a solid 3.5 star rating for the food. Better fish and chips can be found elsewhere, yet this will still satisfy your craving.

It's nice to know that great fish n chips places like this still exist. Fish and batter were delicious, fresh cut fries were very hot and crispy. Staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming. Far from home but not far from work, can't wait to come in again.

I was dying for fish and chips all day, never had any in Etobicoke.so I decided for queensway and ordered EXTRA and paid EXTRA for sauce.this is how much they give you when you pay extra that includes the original amount they give you. 3!? !? Fries was enough for my palm… I’m sad. Paying extra and getting nothing… Not coming here ever again. FIRST and LAST

Unfortunately I must have bad luck with this place. I read the reviews off Uber Eats and was looking forward to a good fish and chip meal. I honestly got the worst I ever had. The haddock fillet was half of the batter given, it smelled like old oil was used. The fries were very soggy. The cheese sticks were okay and the deep fried pickles were cold and soft. I had to put everything in the air fryer to make it somewhat appetizing and edible. I was pretty disappointed with this location. I don't think I'll try it again. Sorry.

Always go here for fish and chips, probably a couple times a week. Always perfectly fried and crispy with a wonderfully friendly staff
