When the hot tub dies the day it drops to -10, and it’s close to freezing. These are the guys who have the parts, and the advice on what to do! Called 20 other places, not kidding, and had to drive from Burlington, but the hot tub lives again! Already back to 104 degrees.

Gone there several times throughout the years and they're not helpful. I never buy anything there because they never have anything I need so i go then to other pool stores.

This is a follow up to a response from "the owner" My review was from two years ago so case in point is that it has taken two years to respond to my review. I would just rather deal with Pioneer.

They always provide great service, specially the senior managers are more knowledgeable and staff members are also very friendly.

I've had to go there few time now and always great service.

We have been customers of this company for well over 20 years and enjoy their professional attitude and support. We have a pool and are now into our second Coast Spa which we love a ton.

We went to Mike Mcbride before the covid 19 outbreak. My wife & I knew nothing about hot tubs. You took the time with us & showed us the the benefits between models. He even sat in the hot tubs with us. We went on a Sunday. We were there almost 3 hours. He never rushed us. & the Manager Alex Toth was there as well. We were there even after the showroom closed & they gave us their undivided attention. To make a long story short. They both were extremely helpful & courteous. We bought a hot tub on the floor & got an amazing deal! They kept the hot tub there & wrapped it up for us & sent us a picture too. We are just waiting for the rules to be lifted from Covid 19 & they will deliver it to us & they will set up an In class session to educate us on the hot tub. They are both amazing people
& look forward to seeing them again!

Came through twice for us with pretty obscure above ground pool parts same day, right in stock (while other pool companies fumble for weeks and weeks). I should always come here first, lesson learned.

Since the moment this hot tub was delivered June 2019, we noticed the cover given to us was too small. We contacted International pool and spa and asked them to replace it. For over a year they have been saying they would deliver another one. To date we are still waiting for the cover to be replaced. On May 1 2020, we called International Pool once again because the electrical controls were not working. A service man was sent out on May 5,2020. He checked the circuit board in the hot tub and determined that it was defective and needed to be replaced. He left saying he would order the part. We have been waiting since then and my calls have been ignored. When the manager does decide to answer he blames it on COVID-19. I wish they would take the time to keep me updated. I realize these are tough times for all if us. I’m sure they could have found a way to make it right. Customer service is not there.

We contacted Mike in desperation to find a pool as we had purchased a pool from another supplier who wasn't able to provide us with the pool after we had already begun excavation. Mike was beyond helpful, extremely informative and by some luck had a pool for us! His communication has been fabulous, sending us updates almost daily. Long story short we pick up the pool in 2 days and are very happy with the service we recieved. Thank you Mike and team for everything!

The home my wife and I just moved into came with a hot tub. We never had one before so we were looking for an expert to educate us. Mike was incredible. He sat down with us and explained why we use chemicals, how they work, and which ones we need. He also explained good habits to get into and best practices we should follow. After trying a few other stores nearby and feeling more confused, this was a refreshing experience. As I observed the staff’s interactions with other customers, I felt like they know everyone by name here. We’ll be coming here for all of our hot tub needs. There are some very helpfull staff members there.unfortunately there are also some very unhelpfull staff members.they have a good supply of pool parts and acc if u can get the help.they also have a email mailer that can same u quite a bit of cash if u subscribe.

This is the go to place for all your swimming pool, Jacuzzi, spa, etc needs. Staff are very knowledgeable and offer great advice on how to care for your purchase. My wife and I purchased an above ground 15' pool, had it installed and have totally enjoyed the summer with the kids. Mike McBride was especially helpful with the chemicals required and also with the closing process this fall. We are very happy with our purchase and the service we have received

I needed air relief plug for my hot tub they had one. Also needed the o-ring for it and two filters. When they changed me for the filters I pointed out that the sign said 15% off hot tub filters she said the sale was over and would no honour it I asked for the manager he was out. Then see said the o-ring was 7 dollars plus tax I could tell now what goes on there I went to home hardware and bought a pack of 10 o-rings for 3 bucks

I spent 15 grand on a curve spa.when it arrived the waterfall was damaged and the paint on all 3 panels all peeled off. After one year of calling and complaing the maintenance man showed up and painted certain areas a different color. Terrible customer service. They continuously lie about the dates they are going to show up. Please don't waste your money here. Also never heard back from head office aswell!

This is the go to place for all your swimming pool, Jacuzzis, spa, etc needs. Staff are very helpful all the time. They also have grills and even billiard tables. Highly recommended. It's advisable to buy your equipments here coz they will have all the parts rather than buying from other online places and it's harder to get parts and may have compatibility issues. It's busy now (spring) so be patient with the line up.

Good service. Most items you need for a pool they have. Liquid chlorine as well. They will test your water for you too.

My husband had been building pools, landscape, opening and closing pools over 25 years. He usually gets his pool supplies from Ewing Pool in Oshawa.
He was finishing off a unit we are renovating on Roncesvalles on a Sat and we had to close 4 pools in the weekend. So I had to go to get some pool supplies for him.
From reviews I dropped in at this store for 4 jugs of chlorine, 2 jugs of antifreeze and 2 jugs of algaecide. I didn't know algaecide comes in many different level. The person who served me that Sat were friendly to make my sale. I left with all my items zand didn't think I made a wrong purchase.
As soon as I got back to Roncesvalles my husband said I got the wrong percentage. We were tight on time so we couldn't go to exchange for the right ones. We had to get more at another supplier on our way to Whitby.
We went back the next Friday to exchange what was needed to close 6 more pools the coming weekend.
The same person who served me refused to do an exchange and didn't even look at me.

His attitudes spoke volumes. This store love getting your money but do not appreciate your long term business. He just lost a potential good clientele, we will never give our business to this store again. They don't deserve a 1 star rating at all.

After years of thinking about it and wanting to do it, we just purchased our first hottub from Recreational Warehouse. From the first visit, the staff took the time patiently help me understand everything I needed to know about hot tubs, and with no pressure. After looking around at several shops, and hitting the CNE, and after studying up on several different models and providers, we landed with these guys. We believe we got a competitive and very fair price on a great product. Our tub was delivered on time, and as promised. All my questions and concerns were addressed quickly and to my satisfaction every time. Through their spa school and services, they've helped us understand how to keep our spa healthy, safe, and in good shape. And it's always great when you can walk in their shop at any time and the staff know your name and demonstrate that they appreciate and want to keep your business. We're loving our new tub, and we know we made the right call.
