Ren's Pets Guelph

The staff don’t seem to like dogs at the this location. I spent over $325, my dog was sitting nicely at the register, waiting for the treat that all the other Ren’s give him, only to be completely ignored by the staff. I mean, my dog is super cute too and was being good. Will drive to the Ren’s in Burlington instead which sucks because I’m literally a 3 minute drive from the Aberfoyle one.

Had a few free coupons for doggos birthday. They didn't have one of them in stocks so they were happy to switch me for another product which I appreciated because I don't live in Guelph.

What a wonderful selection of pet food, supplies and toys. It’s a “Toyland” for pets or a “Pet’s Paradise. ” Loved it

I received an online order that was shipped from Puslinch, ON location. One of the items was Geib thinning sheers - it was in a dirty pouch with another pet's hair. It is disgusting to receive used item when you pay for a brand new. When I was able to reach someone on the phone there was no remorse or apology, she just advised to bring it to the nearest store for an exchange or refund. Well, this is a hassle. It will be returned of course and I am not sure if I want to buy expensive products online at Ren's anymore. Once they start sneaking in used products in mailed orders, there is no assurance that it is not going to happen again.

My dog needs enzymes, Ren's has it, best price, always stocked, always fast service and great people!

Great place to get everything for your pet. Prices can be a bit high compared to some, but the staff is friendly and helpful. They also carry great quality products.

Ordered kibble online and was able to pick up over the counter the same day. Staff were polite and store was incredibly organized.

A little out of the way for me but I do go here when I am out that way. Always helpful and friendly.

Great stock and lots of stuff on sale, my local Ren's Pets in Milton is great but this one is even better!

DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! They don't know what the definition of customer service is! They don't follow up on shipping issues and had to continously follow up with them. If you have any shipping issues or damages they will tell you to deal with THEIR shipping company. Spoke to Kelly that kept cutting me off while I was speaking and then today hung up on me. It will be your problem as they don't value any of their customers concerns! Stay away from Ren's Pet!
Reply: I never got an email when parcel was delivered! When I placed the order and received tracking details it was confirmed that expected delivery date would be Monday. The parcel was damaged cause it was left out in the rain. Kelly never let me explain everything to her as she kept talking over me! Ren's should be putting a claim with FedEx that it was delivered on wrong day! Get your facts straight instead of replying to my complaint without knowing all the derails. Kelly should take customer service 101 course for any customers you have left!

Extremely helpful staff. I'm not familiar with the store yet and the person on the floor was extremely helpful in directing me to what I needed. Bonus, three different shoppers brought their new puppies with them! It was a good visit

Just recently started going to this pet store. Very happy with the knowledge the staff has and how friendly they are. Love the scale so I can weigh my fur baby and keep his food portion size ideal.

Smiling lady greets us at door, asks if there is something we need help to find.told her its hard to find Royal Canin dog food digestive can at other stores.she quickly brought us over and got a ladder to retrieve cases down from top storage in isle. We gratefully thanked her efforts and left extremely happy.our Papillion was treated too!

Horrible management - we just spent $730 on dog food and two pet toys. Five minutes after arriving home our dog had pulled the plush toy apart and was choking on the fluff. 20 minutes after making the purchase we went back to the store take back the toy only to be told by the manager they don’t take back returns on toys. Short sighted bad management decision and one lost customer. Stay away from stores that treat good customers so poorly.

In the last few years, I’ve noticed less efficient service and inconsistent inventory. Twice, staff (including the store manager) asked me for my contact information when the Raw Performance I wanted was out of stock but never contacted me when it came in. They said it was up to me to keep calling. Why ask for my contact info then? On more than one occasion they’ve also blamed Raw Performance for their lack of product however other pet stores don’t have any issues with Raw Performance deliveries. Ren’s Guelph is conveniently close to me, however, they’re very good at sending me elsewhere. I miss the good ol’ days.

Went there on last Friday, supposed to be open at 9. They hang paper on the door saying they open at 11.
Came back today after 11 and I found another paper on the door saying they are open at 1pm.
I’m not coming back again, you just lost a customer.

Does anyone even work there? Spent the better half of 30 minutes calling and calling and no one ever answers. Great way to engage your customers.

More like Ren's Cats and Dogs. HUGE selection for cats and dogs, I'm sure it's amazing if you have one. Very small selection for small animals, selling products (treats) and enclosures that are bad for them (like most pet stores:/) I expected better and was kind of disappointed.

This large pet store has a wide selection of food, toys, treats, grooming tools, and other pet accessories. The staff are friendly, and dogs are welcomed with fresh drinking water, poop baggies, and even treats if you're lucky. Our pup loves shopping the aisles for her next new toy.

This is one of the best place to go. I buy all the stuff for my pets here. The staff are super knowledgeable and friendly. They are almost never out of stock and were able to special order my dogs food in when I needed to change it. I highly recommend this store.

Great selection for your pets health and nutritional needs. Big spacious and great variety of what ever you need for your pet. Friendly and helpful staff always willing to assist you.

Always a pleasure to visit when we are at the university's animal oncology center. Great selection of food and treats, and often running rebates or deals on purchase. Our favourite place to shop!

Employees too busy to help out worst visit ever will not be back asked about an item and absolutely zero assistance

Quick and painless service. Check for road construction before you go it was a 10 min wait to go 1.5 km to get to the entrance. May be done now.

I make a point to shop at Ren's. The staff there actually know all about the products and can give great reccomendations. The staff are gold. Even during covid with hard to find items I just call in and they make it happen or find me a comparably item. They are Canadian owned and have great local Canadian products. You might pay a few dollars more here or there but to me you pay for what you get.

Mawly has been enjoying visits to Ren's since last Mother's day when we picked her up from the breeder. She loves the attention she is given by the staff and has benefited from all the great treats, toys, food supplements and yes even CBD oil for her coat, minor skin irritation and some anxiety. Some of the staff are Labrador Retriever owners so we receive good advice on what choices to make and which to avoid.
Even with curbside pick up, Mawly is still able to enjoy her favourite MARROW BEEF BONES they keep in the freezer. A super way to occupy an avid CHEWER!

Staff very helpful in trying to find a good sturdy toy that my goofy puppy cant destroy.they are very knowledgeable, friendly and take time with their customers

Prices are very good and competitive to other pet stores, which is why I deal here. However, the stock situation isn't great. I constantly find products are out of stock or unavailable from one week to the next. I find this odd because countless times I've had to go to their Cambridge location, yet the warehouse is right next door. Perhaps it's an error in maintaining orders from the warehouse to replenish stock, but it is very frustrating when I live nearby and regular items constantly run out of stock. Typically this is with various Royal Canin feeds I purchase. This is also odd because not only.is the warehouse next door but Royal Canin's factory is 4km down the road. Store has always been clean and staff has been friendly.

On Feb 27 we took our new puppy Juneau to Ren's to buy a harness. Katie was incredibly helpful! She gave us great advice and took the time to personally fit Juneau with the harness. She was such a great help!

Ive always came to this store to purchase my pets stuff but today was the WORST customer service experience, the associate assisting me with my purchase had a major attitude, was very rude and very degrading. Lacks customer service training.

I love this store. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and there is such a great selection for all types of pets.

I can’t express how thankful I am for one of the employees here! Her name is Sophie! I came in to get a set of boots for my service dog. I was exasperated after going to 3 other pet stores looking for a set that wouldn’t fall off. She took the time to help me put them on him, explain which size I should get and why and didn’t make me feel bad for having a squirmy and tired one year old pup who was tired of me trying to shove boots on his feet!

Again I can’t express my thankfulness to Sophie for being so helpful! She deserves a raise or something!

Bought a dog bed that was supposed to be 20% off and did not get my discount. VERY disappointed and will not go back ever!

Great little store. Attentive staff great selection of goods for your dogs, cats, and small animals. Good prices, you can shop online and get curbside pickup. Decent store hours but come early, it gets busy on weekends. They have a large amount of products in backroom stock as well. Overall one of the best pet stores in southern Ontario.

First, They don't sell any renal food for dogs. Also, they overcharged me! The canned food was supposed to be 4 for $10. They charged me $2.99 each. The treats were supposed to be 50% off and they charged me full price.

Staff was friendly, and there was a large selection, but prices seemed a little higher than other stores but that can be offset by the sales being put on

I used to love going. I purchased all of my equipment. This time I was vary disappointed because the scratch and dent section was closed.

The staff was friendly to my pet and I. She answered all of my Q's and helped me make a tag for my dog. It was enjoyable for us.

Very nice young ladies tried to help me, but we all discovered the retail stores do not carry the same food the vets do. So, we're off to Beattie's in Burlington. Oh well.that gives me a good hour to natter at my husband.just kidding. Not! Lolol (Crazy Cat Woman)

These people know their stuff. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Had a huge issue with my new puppy Zuzu and they were able to fix her up with a training collar.

Great selection of pet food, toys, and accessories. Staff is always friendly and the store is obviously pet friendly so you get to see a lot of fur-buddies. My only concern is the price of most items.

Saturday at Ren's is a big parade of dogs with their owners, which is, honestly, my favourite part. Good deals on our large breed dog food, and their loyalty program is appreciated. Good selection of foods and toys.
