As a senior I've always had help carrying my pet food and cat litter to the car, but neither of the 2 people at the cash offered, very dissatisfied. Store was quiet, cash was quiet!

Staff not trained on how to handle promotions that REN’s suppliers are offering. Asked Patty to call her boss to clarify and the answer was I have to call my boss from the office! In less than 30 seconds she was back (I actually timed it to see if she’s actually going to call). She’s either a very fast call maker and talker to be back with the answer or she didn’t even make the call!
When I lived in Oakville for over 25 years, I used to go to REN’s in Oakville, spent thousands of dollars there, it was a great store with great staff, thank God Patty didn’t work there, now since I moved to the Waterdown area and tried REN’s in Waterdown, I will never step foot there again.
Hill’s will be notified that REN’s vehemently will not honour their current promotion. Patty insisted it was a photocopy which it was not. I went down the street to PetValu and they honoured the coupon with no complaint and a smile.

Always nice you can check store quantities on their site before driving there. Waterdown staff are good.

Went in and was greeted by a very nice associate. She answered all my questions and provided directions to the products I needed.

We love RENS they always have what we're looking for and such happy sale persons and they make you feel at home and relaxed and your favorite person can come in with you and our pup will only shop at RENS she just loves RENS we go in and come out very happy with our purchases

Great selection, helpful staff, clean bright store, lots of parking in a mall with Walmart, Rona, LCBO, Shopper's Drug Mart.

My dog is over the moon with happiness now that they are open for in store shopping again! She would get so mad at me when we would go and she would have to stay in the car while I did Curbside pick Up. The staff has been amazing through this difficult time. They have always been very helpful and polite but its at times like this, when customers become even more frustrated with life and take it out on the little guy, that you really see that something special shining through. Thanks Rens Waterdown for having such a great staff!

Very clean space with very friendly staff! They have good weekly sales and have a good assortment of treats, toys, grooming supplies and ointments. I like how the option to order online and pick up from the store is always updated.

Good size store. Raw food section is smaller than store I regularly visit in Oakville and doesnt carry the types of meat I need. Store was clean, saw some jokes written on the tape on the floor which made me smile. Didn't buy anything as what I wanted was sold out but staff seemed nice during brief interaction.

Normally a good place, so I won't give one star, but i was extremely dissatisfied with the service today. I was shopping for a cordless clipper with removable blades. Another location allowed me to open the box of a set that claimed the blades were both adjustable and removable, but it was a different type of blade so wasn't what i wanted. This location had a set that said they were adjustable but the clerk said they were removable. I asked her to open the box so i could confirm that they were removable, as I don't want the adjustable ones, she refused to let me see them. I handed them back to her, said i wasn't going to buy them then, because i wasn't about to waste my money buying something i didn't want, then have to go to the trouble of returning it. The service at the first location was much more accommodating, especially since we're talking about a bigger purchase that costs over $100.

They had a huge sale that saved us 50% on our car and dog food. Then they gave us free samples on top of that for dog and cat treats. Finally they offered to help us carry our stuff out. That's great service. Not sure what else they could've done? So 5 stars it is!

Whose dog doesn’t need more treats or toys, right? ! Ren’s is always clean and well laid out. Best of all, you can always find someone to assist you if needed. After years of shopping there, only just the other day found out that they offer a military CF1 discount. Wish this had me posted someplace.

I dont hate this store, but I went in to buy Nature's Miracle the other day and was informed they refuse to stock it. I find they have a lot of interesting and off beat products but when it comes to the tried and true pet things they seem to lack inventory.

Don't bother with the in-store promotions where if you spend so much money you get so much money back on "your next visit". I spent $130 to get $40 back and they print you a small slip of paper with a delayed and narrow timing window to redeem it. If you miss the timing window by one day they won't honor it or do anything for you to compensate. Would have been nice to get the redeemable money in a gift card or have a text/email reminder, but as it is, you just get bad customer service.

I find anywhere you go these days it's always Hit and Miss. Ren's isn't my usual choice for pet purchases, but it was on my route today so I stopped in and the service was stellar. I've been there before and was less than impressed, and may feel the same way should I stop in again. But, if you're planning on getting something for your animal today - right now even - then I say head to Ren's (this location, today only).

Great staff and I usually find what I need. I like that there is a program to get free bags of food AND reward points to redeem $ off your purchase

Very helpful staff, great selection & always offer to help my Mom bring her items to the car if I'm not there.

Went in to buy a lead for my dog, went to pay and it was coming up at $8 more. The cashier seemed very unpleased that I questioned the price and told me to go with another member of the staff to help her see the price. I showed her and there wasn't even a spot for the price/produced - they were all disorganized. Still didn't know the price of the produce they offered $2 less. I asked for them to honour the Retail Canada Council's scanner code policy and they refused saying it was a problem with the distributors code, not their organization. Even tho the whole section was a mess and I had to go and help them figure out where the produce was from. Which isn't my job and wasted 20 minutes of my life.

I told them I'll buy it somewhere else. I also will be buying my pet's food (which is about $150 a month) somewhere else. If yr wrong and you messed up on yr job, listen to yr customers and be accountable.

Excellent service. Nice that it's local. Pricing is pretty good. When they haven't had what I needed in my local store they've directed me to another Rens that did have the product in stock and then brought it in - litter locker refills.

This is a very dog-centric store. They have things for cats and other animals, but it's like 80% dog stuff.

The manager every time I am in is always extremely knowledgeable and super helpful! The store has a huge selection of things aswell. I do wish however the other staff was as knowledgeable as the manager! Really recommend though

I like going to Ren's Pet's Depot in Waterdown. Great selection and fair prices. The staff Everytime I have gone are helpful and have given me good advice on products for my 2 dogs and lovebird. To me that makes a good outing and bang for my buck. I don't mind driving the distance when I am provided good customer service.

Rens is always my one stop shot for my cats. Healthy products available for those who like to pamper. Always very clean and organized. I can now walk in with my eyes closed to get my specific brand of food (science diet) and get a toy my cats love. Keep up the clean and organized store. Yall rock!
