Beyond terrible customer service. I’ve spent months trying to get help with an expensive water system we purchased. I’ve wasted hours of my time emailing, phoning, following up with zero results. Would not recommend.

The Customer service desk directed me to the service bay around the back of the store.
I waited for about 12 minutes while a harried looking guy behind the counter tried to communicate with a woman about her shower renovation. She had a bunch of papers and diagrams.

It wasn’t going well. He didn’t seem to understand that she was talking about two different showers. She didn’t seem to understand that he didn’t understand.
Classic.

Finally, I got to speak to the harried looking guy behind the counter (it was only 11am) and he told me they had a replacement steel coiled [shower] hose for $70 -80… this wasn’t actually the part that needed to be replaced.
I asked him a question about this and he said ‘Frank’ could help.
Frank looked at it and said I just needed a piece of rubber from a dishwasher drain and a couple of washers; check Home Hardware.

Home Hardware sent me to Ponte Plumbing where I found great (unharried) customer service, knowledgeable staff, and exactly what I needed.

I have dealt with Taps multiple times both personally and through my business.

I am always relieved to see their invoices at a clients house when I'm installing as their sales team is outstanding and professional. Any questions or concerns are immediately handled and leave no worries.

Their parts and service department in the back are also quick to respond and are well knowledgeable on what they sell.

They sell a wide range of various plumbing items from reputable companies; shower valves, faucets, water closets, etc.

The showroom is well maintained and stocked with the most popular items.

Overall, one of my favorite suppliers and I recommend them over most in the City.

Be wary of the con of the restocking fee. 30%.
These guys are overpriced and inflexible. You are better off at toronto vanity or another place. Won’t make this mistake again.

So probably some of the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with, worse than homedepot.no one picks up the phone. If you need help and you email the wrong person they don’t even CC the right person, no one wants to do the customer service job. Once they sell something to you and you pick it up Goodluck getting someone to help you that day. Read this review in 6 months or even a year this place will stay the same as is.if you call more than 3 x and they put you through to someone that doesn’t answer THEY WILL NOT answer you again they’ll actually hang up. I don’t know how they have more than 2 stars on here. Some of the stag are nice in person. BUT THE INCOMPETENCE IS REAL. There’s so many plumbing suppliers in the GTA that have the same things this place does. So if you plan to go here. Just go to home depot or another supplier. And I don’t even right these reviews. EVER I just think people need to know or this location needs better organization, hire more people to answer customer issue related problems. This was my FIRST time purchasing here. So the odds of having BAD THINGS happening to you is HIGH. So they need a whole department for that.have a nice day…

Honoured a warranty for a faucet part and made it so simple. Great selection and customer service experience.

We recently had a great experience at TAPS. We worked with a gentleman named Daniel who helped us selecting a shower system and matching sink faucets. He understood exactly what designs we were looking for. He knew exactly why I wanted the design and why it works from a functional/cleaning perspective. He was great to communicate with via email and helped us get additional parts and answered all our questions. Overall a really great experience and I would be happy to come back and work with Daniel again for future projects.

Very Poor customer service! Every time I emailed I had to follow up with call as no one respond to me. Every time I called and I needed call back, I had to make a follow up call as no one called me back. Most recently I got promised by Danny to receive a call from a manager on past Monday however I still haven’t. We chose taps for the quality and hoping I would get better service that Home Depot however the experience in the past few months was worth and cost me scheduling Plummer more than I needed due to wrong information provided. Don’t recommend them if you are looking for someone to respect your time, give you accurate information and be responsive.

Renovated 3 bathrooms during Covid purchased. Selection, service, delivery and post installation service was excellent. Highly recommend.

As a designer contracting firm, TAPS has been suppling my company Instlye Kitchens & Bathrooms with fixtures for over 30 years. They have many long term staff members whom have been a great service to me and my clients. Some days they are very busy and it is difficult for them to handle the volume. Their after sales service dept for parts is one of the best in the city. Is there cheaper places to shop maybe. However the overall knowledge and service from taps has kept me a loyal customer for decades.

I am plumber by trade and taps is one of my favorite place when it comes to buy elegant reliable products.
If you are doing your own washroom go to TAPS you will never go wrong.

Recently purchased a TOTO washlet system and very happy with it. Would highly recommend.

I came to their store to buy faucets and accessories for my master bathroom. I knew exactly what I needed to order. The receptionist was helping a customer. After 30-35 minutes of browsing around the store and waiting for any sales person to show up, I approached the first one who became available. He was quite rude and sent me back to the receptionist to call for help. I waited another 5-10 minutes and interrupted the receptionist who told that she would page a sales person. 10 minutes later I left. Beside me, aside from another couple, the store was empty. There were plenty of sales people/consultants who sat in their rooms. No one was there to help me to place my order. I will not go there again. I am not sure what is the nature of their business, but it is definitely not sales.

We went to taps to get a quote on the two bathrooms we were renovating. We looked around the great showroom and already had some idea of what we wanted. Our rep Dominic was very helpful and quoted us very completive prices with free delivery. It took less than a week to get everything delivered. Highly recommend Taps
