United and baggage service in YOW are definitely the worst customer service, the most useless and the least knowledgeable staff I have ever met. Being a regular traveller and a SE Gold Star Alliance member. I’ve had the worse experiences with united. United service and United baggage service at YOW.
Absolute poor service. Deserve 0/5 stars.
They just tell you to call and contact united and once you do United tells you that claims should’ve been done in person during the incident. Anyways 100’s of dollars and time wasted.

Very rude staff. I arrived an hour before my flight, they rushed me and told me i'm late. I checked in and ran to gate. Flight atendant at the gate was surprised of me being there. I asked if it was the newark flight, she said yes. I told her they told me im late did i miss the flight? She said boarding hasn't started and told me i'm supposed to check in 2 hrs before (in a very rude way). It's a tiny airport and I always come an hr befofe when I fly air canada and was never treated so rudely

If I could give zero stars, I would. No luggage after 24 hours and a terrible tracking system that still does not give me any updates. I talk to an actual person and I am told my luggage has arrived but won't be delivered for another thirteen hours. Customer service is not important to United. If I can find another carrier with a decent schedule, I will actively avoid United flights in the future.
