My wife and I saved up Westjet Dollars for years for a trip to London, England.
We made this trip 8 years ago and it worked out very well.
We are ready to make the same trip again this year, however Westjet has elected to no longer fly direct from Toronto to London. You now have to fly from Toronto to Calgary, spend hours in the Calgary airport, before flying back over Toronto on your way to London, England!
How environmentally friendly is that logic! I prefer to do business with companies that actually care about the environment! Not sure what to do with my Westjet dollars now. So incredibly disappointed in their logic!

Everything I've done on the web ended up being for nothing. You have to stand in line to go through all over again

Worst service ever, My friend and I missed the plane so we needed a new tickets. What they did is that they forced us to buy the most expensive tickets they have. Thanks for your service.

Had the worst experience I’ve ever had during the holidays. Flight was canceled because of weather which is understandable but was told we’d get an email to reschedule, never happened and after 3 day rebooked. Still never heard back on the first flight. We got stuck in Calgary for 7 days. They never reimbursed our hotel nor reimbursed flight. They way back was unimaginable worse. They let us rebook on nonexistent flight and didn’t tell us until we showed up, the rebooked for next day, after 10 minutes in the air had an emergency landing. We had to rebook out of another airport and drive hours to. Impossible to talk to someone that could actually help. Worst airline ever!

Do NOT MAKE this mistake! Westjet is TRASSSHHHH! And they don't accept complaints for their unprofessional and disgustingly disrespectful staff.and that too 'managers'? How can someone like the ppl they employ, even be hired and represent your company

Be veryyyyyy careful if you end up dealing with the manager who worked at the YVR airport (vancouver), some short dark haired woman who will come and talk to you like you're a their even though the thief is her and her horrible airlines! She worked there yesterday, March 16th, 2023 at 10.30pm (local Vancouver time).
Absolutely reprehensible behavior!

There need to be some serious consequences and westjet needs to train their staff better.well, it seems they get no training and someone eats their lunch every single day

No one cares about good service.well, any service except trash service.

If you have excess cash or don't care about your money and love to be treated like garbage, this airline is best for you.

If you expect some basic human Decency, then STAY FAR AWAYYY! If no airlines are ever available.walk.but never ever take this pathetic excuse for a wannabe airline!

Flight going was cancelled and rebooked 24 hours later. Customer service non-existent with 9 hour wait on hold. Flight coming back is now cancelled. Never fly this airline.

Maryam Westjet supervisor earned her paycheck today! Incredibly empathetic well informed and organized. She was kind and made sure my sweet nephew was able to get home even though we had to
Miss his original flight! My nephew flew through the unaccompanied minor program which is scary enough. I thank her and her kind team for Making sure everything was resolved. I appreciate her and her team as you could tell they cared about us as people and passengers. Well done west jet thank you for all your help

All these people in the picture are waiting their lives away in a line because the airport is inefficient. I’m spending my time thinking about travel alternatives.

Cancelled my flight on 16th of August barcelona to Toronto. Had to call 2 days because they would just place me on hold for hours. Overall had to pay to use my phone and had to spend 4+ hours on the phone. Got me a flight to Montreal with air transat and then with westjet to Toronto. I asked for a partial refund of my money but was told it's not possible. The seats in the air transat plane were disgusting. The trey you can see in the pictures was also beyond nasty. The air transat attendants were horrible and full of attitude. Really really bad experience with my overall trip experience. From the return flight anxiety and being hung up on twice after 1.5 hrs wait to having to make an extra stop over. West jet flight crew was lost in Montreal and late over an hour for takeoff. I will not use or recommend West jet or air transat to anyone I know.

Avoid using them through Pearson like the plague. A delayed flight wrecked the beginning of my holiday.

I love flying westjet and the in-flight service is always great but they gotta start dealing with the luggage issue. Thank you apple for air tags otherwise we would have left Toronto without our baggage which was left off the conveyor belt but in the building. Westjet ground crew need to acknowledge that the tags work and make some call like the Toronto crew finally did. We love you guys but get with the times and believe that the air tags work

Disappointing to have to wait 45 mins to leave Jamaica. Boarding time was scheduled for 12: 30pm and doors were supposed to close at 1: 00pm. They only started boarding at 1: 00pm. Not to mention I paid $66 to select my seats then upgraded to priority for $358 and not refunded the $66. I guess I paid for someone else's seats. When I called I was told this is normal. Not a good customer experience and will use another airline next time.

Flight #018 on August 9th from Calgary to London worst cabin crew you can ever deal with don’t try to ask for extra blanket on flight because they’ll give you worst experience and attitude! WILL NEVER FLY WITH THEM AGAIN! Flight attendants needs to learn customer service big time! I wish I could give them less than 1 star!

Flight was delayed for luggage and my luggage was still delayed when I arrived at my destination. The plane was disgusting and the attendants were rude. Avoid if you want any semblance of comfort or convenience.

Wow. Zero compassion for family’s.
We are traveling stick with a baby and our ears didn’t decompress we’re in massive pain. Hold ups at COVID testing and customs we could barely make our flight. And we get charged $300 to change our flight to the next morning.
Then had to wait almost 30 mins with a crazy toddler just to simply rebook a flight.
Won’t be flying WJ ever again.

Update: and they didn’t even do the bloody bag tags we found out in the morning.
Lined up again for another 30 mins.

Halfway into my Trip, they Cancelled/postponed my connecting flight to the next day (16h later). Did not offer any compensation or solution, no meal, no hotel. Would have been nice to know prior to boarding 1st flight. Cancelled my 2nd flight and thanks to Air Canada, I still made it home.

Westjet's travel bank system and its customer service department is HORRIBLE. I get a refund through travel bank that will expiry yearly, extendable with $21. Plus when you transfer some money from your travel bank to someone else that money will have a SEPARATE EXPIRY date. How the hell one's supposed to figure this out by herself? The airline is a scam.
