This is one of our favorite breakfast places, which we visit regularly on weekends. We had breakfast there again this past Saturday, and Leanne took great care of us. A very pleasant surprise. I was very impressed with.well everything. The decor was cool. You are greeted (not actually) by IRONMAN behind glass. The service was fantastic and quick. My coke refills came very quickly and my burger was huge. Trick to the burger. Cut it in half and stack. This is a 5 napkin burger.

Our server got busy but never once forgot about us and always had a smile on her face.

This is one of the more lively wimpy's diner locations.
The place was quite packed during lunch time but our waitress was still quick to bring out our order.

All good. I love the server drama. I miss working in restaurants specifically for the absence of the drama.
We will frequent this location.

Been coming to this spot for years and it's consistently always good! Service is always amazing and food is delish! Although, I wish you guys didn't change the fish from the fish and chips! The old one was better, and also please bring back the hamburger steak and eggs! That was the best!:)

Picked up souvlaki. It was fresh and cooked properly. A bit smaller protein size than expected for the price. I think maybe one or two extra pieces. Other Mediterranean kabobs are more generous for single skewer.

Love how fast we are seated, and how fast the food comes. Best place for all day breakfast.

If you're looking for all day breakfast that's reasonable in price, Wimpy's is the spot.

Loved my simple breakfast: overhard eggs, rye toast, home fries and sausage. The portion was huge and can easily be shared amongst two people.

I'll definitely visit again when in this area.

Classic wimpy’s menu and decor. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The new location suits them better as it’s more spacious and airy; also more parking spaces.

Been coming here for years now and yesterday was so disappointing, the service was horrible and the quantity of food was not like it was last year. I ordered the Greek salad to start and the portion was so small! My hot roast beef meal was half the amount of beef i usually get. For $50 for 2 people to eat a quick dinner was so upsetting. I usually leave FULL but i left still hungry. Im not going to mention about our server.overall so disappointed!

Old dinner setting (nostalgic). The food was good; hamburger and fries and a BLT. Very busy for lunch which is normal. The kitchen was slow that day. Don't know if that is normal or Covid staffing related

Excellent friendly service, delicious veggie omeletes and comfortable seats. My first time here and will definitely go again.

During our breakfast one of servers start to supping floor. I couldn't believe it customers having breakfast but she supping floor.

Good food, great servers, very friendly and engaging. Covid rules enforced when we came in to the restaurant.

3 waitresses and it took half hour to take our orders. Another half hour until they managed to cook a burger, a hotdog and a salad. Then we wait fo a knife to cut the burger that never gets to us.had to use a butter knife to do it. There was literally NOBODY else in the restaurant. Forget abour refills for the kids, even when I asked for someone to get to our table it took them 20 more minutes!
This used to be a good location, now it's just awful.
Also, the burgers got smaller and the meals changed without notice! I got uncooked potatoes in my steamed vegetables!
Avoid the Thornhill location at all cost!

I like Wimpy's Diner. This location is not my favorite. You will feel the same if you are an Asian.

Hi, ladies and gentlemen, I am writing you this comment with all sincerity, I want you to know that I ordered chicken strips for dinner, but I just had some old very hard Schnitzel pieces it’s very cold and not tasty. I’m not recommending this place to eat something. I’m really not happy at this moment. Cheers

Take out order. Friendly service. Food quality was very good. Even though it was packaged well, when I got home and opened the container with the hot dog, all the toppings had fallen of the hot dog and into the container instead. Good size portions for the food. Restaurant was clean. Good experience overall.

Sat down for the first and last time before another lockdown. Always loved diner food and this hit the spot. You can never go wrong with anything on there menu and will definitely go ahead soon!

Attentive service and decent food + interesting decor equal pleasant experience. A very good place to get milkshake by the way.

Excellent at what they do, affordable diner food in large portions, I've been ordering the Super Western sandwich for 15 years. Jumbo burger is very good value.

The service is constantly quick, awesome ambience, very welcoming employees. I will come back again when I get in town.

Slow! They don't look as clean as I expected. Bought take out desserts and one is a hot item and the other are cold cheesecakes. She put them both in the same bag causing the cheesecake to melt! Not very smart and not trained properly with the affects of food contamination when foods are bagged in same bag with two different temperatures, HOT/COLD. Restaurant should take note to avoid food poisoning.

Great all day breakfast choices. Fresh salads, Sandwiches, Burgers,
good bottomless coffee. Busy Diner atmosphere. Friendly and clean.

Totally appreciate the way the restaurant is setup and great breakfast. The staff was super friendly and my 5 year old son was well town care of.

The food is cooked exactly the way I like it. I always like my French fries well-done. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They're always perfect here. The rest of the food is very similar. I never hear any complaints from the others at our table. The service was perfect. The atmosphere is as a diner should be. It is clean and decorated just like one would expect. However, the washrooms are cold. That seems to be a common factor here in the winter time in many restaurants. Also, as with most diners the seating space is limited to maximize the number of seats possible. Those two complaints are the only ones that I can come up with. I've been to this Diner many times over the years and it is among the very best Wimpy's locations that you could visit.

Always been my favorite place to go for breakfast or lunch when visiting my grandma. Food is great, service is prompt, and prices are fair. One word of caution to the unprepared: the burgers enormous and not for the faint of heart, but any true lover of burgers should be up to the challenge!

I would gladly pay you Tuesday, to go to Wimpy's today!

Old fashion vintage style diner. I got the egg benedict with chicken and waffles. It was 2 medium rare porched eggs drizzled with their house signature hollandaise sauce, served on top of deep fried crispy chicken cutlet and waffle. It was an unique combo of savoury breakfast and paired well together.

I was super surprised of how filling Wimpy's meals were, cuz all came in big big portion. Overall, I love how amazing their throwback vintage decors are, and the vibe of the diner.

Just edited and upgraded it to a 5. I had previously commented on the fish burgers. The beyond meat burger was amazing! I've tasted a few around town but this wimpys by far, has produced and cooked the best one.

Nice interior decor with vintage signs and cozy booths. Food is average, but not bad! Had the eggs benedict with corned beef hash and home fries. Home fries were decent, would not recommend the corned beef hash though!

Very impressed by the breakfast / brunch options, with huge pancakes and generous portions of meat and home fries. Good value compared to overpriced brunch places.

Their early bird special before 10 am should have been a good one too.

Food was inedible, literally.

I ordered the eggs Florentine and a single pancake and could only force myself thru one of three of the eggs and half the pancake.

They use frozen spinach for the eggs which was mushy, absolutely disgusting and tasted off while the tomatoes were the same, mushy and old looking. If you're charging $14, use fresh spinach or simply don't offer it. It was by far the worst Florentine I've ever had. The pancake was spongy and not tasty in the slightest.

You'd think a diner could nail a breakfast order as basic as mine but it was terrible and upon seeing the full plates of uneaten food the server never asked how everything was or if anything was wrong, guess they must be used to seeing that.

I must have come on an off day. Was not good at all. Eggs had shell in it. Disgusting. Service was non existent, took order, brought food, never seen again until I walked up to pay bill. After many years of not coming to wimpys this experience reminded me of why. I’d never return again.

Good food for a quick lunch around the area. Clean facility which always makes me happy. Waitress was a little moody or upset but I could tell she had received some bad news of some sort so I don’t take that to heart. Other that pretty spot on place.

Great food! I loved the fact that the servers are well trained. I ordered a Chicken Souvlaki dinner and it was very tasty! The rice was so fluffy and really yummy! The chicken was perfectly grilled! I was served by Madison and she was lovely and very attentive. I will definitely go back!

Yummy food. But not the best service. I loved the hot dog and milkshake I had but the women who served it to us wasnt the best.

Very busy place during the weekend. I ordered an omelet and I really like the fact that you can change your toast to a salad. Only down to this diner is the parking.

Food is good as it is at any other whimpy's, was very impressed with out nixe staff and servers were, they made the meal really enjoyable. Everything else was good.

Wimpy always had the expression if you buy me a hamburger today I will gladly pay you on Tuesday that was the slogan of wimpy's just for your knowledge. I really like their burgers and fries choice I've tried other products in the menu I didn't really like them so I usually end up with their giant 10 ounce burger and fries with a soft drink and it's always good.

Love Wimpys. Everything I eat is great and good prices. Always make sure to go when I visit Toronto

Best place to eat. Every time I'm south of Sudbury, I manage to find a whimpys to eat at. Great food, awesome staff, relaxed atmosphere

I have twin toddlers and they only had 2 highchairs in the restaurant.someone else was using one so I had to sit with one of my kids on my lap. They need more high chairs!

It's just another company trying "get rich". The Francihais in Oak Ridges, Richmond Hill, their burgers and fries SUCKS. I am not even kidding

When you are tired of going to your usual places for dinner but you still want to go somewhere to have a good and a fare supper, go Wipmy's.

I was surprised by the renovation when I walked in and our sweet waitress Stacy said that it has been two years. She was hysterical by wishing us happy birthday and happy holidays to times to catch up. My son and I enjoyed a fabulous breakfast and bonding time with no electronics. Just coloured the placemat and loved the ambience on hospitality. I'm a great cook and this place is okay in my book for breakfast.

It's a diner. The local priest eats here. Anything on the menu that attempts to be remotely healthy is unpalatable. Come here to eat greasy diner food and you won't be disappointed.

Problem at steeles and dufferin location. An email was sent to head office a review posted and a phone call to head office all gone completely ignored. Real bad way to keep your customers. Your location at yonge and royal orchard is and will be the only location I continue to go to however when I went on Sunday how can you run out of hamburger buns when you sell so many burgers? Disappointed not to be able to get my burger though. Was already so aggravated about steeles and dufferin how rude they are there
