Wimpy's Diner

Service was very bad. Slow to bring out food. I spilled my beer in front of the waiter and nobody came to clean that up. We were there for over two hours. I cleaned it with napkins and nobody cleared the napkins from the table until we ordered the bill.
I mentioned it to the waiter at the end and she said it was not her job to clear the tables. Not going back

Affordable prices.gravy is vegetarian
They have new items on their menus.
Also the fries and gravy.addictive
The ladies that work there are super friendly

Ordered Whimpy’s through Uber Eats for breakfast. Dry, stale toast. Cold over cooked scrambled eggs. Asked for crispy home fries, but they were soggy, tasteless and saturated in oil. Only thing that tasted good was the bacon. Gonna be looking for a new breakfast spot

Good food, not too expensive. Always ask for very crispy bacon. If you don't ask them to burn it then it will be raw.

I normally would have brunch occasionally but Fathers day my experience was not great, the young lady who serve us never bought what was needed for our pan and etc. The other lady eventually came to ask if we doing okay and need anything more and kept on check to see if we alright. Everytime we go the Laura, another lady, Judith has be really nice and often make sure you are okay. Thanks ladies

Pretty standard diner fare & traditional diner style decor. The service was the star, with a friendly server.

I recently visited Wimpy's Diner and had a mixed experience. While the atmosphere of the restaurant was decent, I was disappointed with the quality of the food. The dishes I ordered did not live up to my expectations, and I found them to be lacking in flavor and freshness. However, I must say that the ambiance of the place was pleasant, with a cozy and nostalgic feel. The staff was friendly and attentive, which added to the overall experience. Despite the subpar food, if you're looking for a place with a nice atmosphere and good service, Wimpy's Diner might still be worth a visit.

The service is really above and beyond here. It's a classic spot for our family when we're not quite sure where or what we want to eat so we always come here. The portions are very generous and the taste is great. You will never leave here hungry no matter how hungry you arrived.

Great food, especially the real, home cooked potatoes. Fantastic service. Fast. And the best part: the most reasonable prices in Toronto. Way, way better food for your dollar than far more supposedly 'upscale places. ' A perfect diner.

Can I give it 10 stars? Nothing bad can be said about this place. It's perfectly perfect! Delicious food, wonderful service, clean, good price. Their pancakes are absolutely wonderful, by the way.

We visited this place on a Thursday afternoon when looking for something to eat. We went in as a group of five, and while it was busy inside we did get a table very fast. The restaurant isn't that big inside so maybe make sure beforehand there's seating avaliable.

The atmosphere was very interesting as it had this early 70s diner look, paired with red seats and jukeboxes on the wall of every table. While they didn't work for us, it was a very nice touch.

The server was very friendly and got us seated very quickly. There's a large selection of food from the menu, but I'd say the wimpy's burger is the one most people get. We ordered three wimpys burgers, a hot dog, some waffle fries, and a chicken burger. The burgers have very large patties as can be seen in he photo. Waffle fries were nice but the portions were a bit small. My friend enjoyed his chicken burger, and we had a good time. Serving time and price to portion are both reasonable.

Still a good deal and a tasty treat at Wimpy’s good food at reasonable prices

I love Wimpy's. The staff are great and the service is fast. I like the food, myself. I don't like the home fries-I always opt for French fries-but have no other qualms about the menu. The prices are a bit high but still within reason. Their delivery via ubereats etc is always well packaged. They have great people working there.

The food is good, portions are HUGE, price is reasonable, service is great. The only reason I have to complain is that there's not enough seating for a party of 5 or more (1 table). If there's 2-4 of you, it's a great place, but not for larger parties.

Love the gals and guys at this diner they truly make ur dining experience pleasurable and truly understand what service is about. Love it!

Every time I have dined at this location, I have nothing but great experiences. The food is delicious and the staff - the staff are PHENOMENAL. Beautiful people that always make you feel welcome and at home. Can’t say enough good things about this place. My wife and I’s favorite diner!

I've never experienced a dry omelette before.as were the hash browns. The coffee was wet.

I ordered 4 meals online through wimpy's website and got charged for it. I called to make sure that the order went through, they told me that they have nothing in my name or any order in general. They said that i must have chosen doordash for delivery but i said no, i chose to pick it up. They insisted that I ordered at a different wimpy's location but i provided proof that i didnt, it was their location. I asked to speak to a manager and they said they did not have one, that "they just work here". I understand things like this happen but please do not insist that it was my fault when it was not.

I loved the food. I had fish and chips.
Normal pricing.
The restaurant has a nostalgic vibe and the staff were friendly and nice.
Washroom was clean and nice.
The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because there was not enough staff and people who were working had to take care of lot's of customers all alone.
