Always have lots of toppings and a good price considering you it’s all customizable.
I go to McMaster but haven’t been on campus too much due to the pandemic, but I have become a regular here as the atmosphere and staff are great.
The store is super clean and looks freshly stocked every time I go in. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Although they don’t offer samples (like someone mentioned), they told me it was for health and safety reasons but offer me their advice on flavours and toppings and it always turns out excellent.
They have a variety of board games that you can play in the store too which adds to the experience.
Stopped in for serve yourself frozen yogurt, tried new flavour pineapple, not a huge fan, but had key lime pie and raspberry sherbet and really enjoyed it. Tons of toppings if you wish to add on.
Just went in tonight with my family. We (mostly my 3 kids) had the chocolate it was absolutely horrible, I'm not sure if it went bad or they are using a cheaper version. It tasted horrible hopefully the owner can look into this and maybe go back to the original chocolate. I will give this a 5 star once this situation is fixed as the location is very nice and clean and the other flavors are awesome.
Update: thank you for bringing back passion fruit!:) I love yogurtys but notice they do not change their flavours very often! I’ve suggested a couple times that they bring back “passionfruit” sorbet that I’ve had at a different location. It was so good and I would love to see it here at this location. Great spring/summer flavour instead of the usual strawberry or mango they consistently have. They also never answer the phone.
Nice service. Provides gloves for covid times and always has some good flavors of yogurt.
I just tried their bubble tea. It is passable for a store that does not specialize in bubble tea, and it is quite cheap. It is good if you have a craving and don't want to spend 7+ $ on bubble tea. I got the black milk tea with brown sugar jelly and tapioca by recommendation of staff. It was nice. Tapioca was a little firm - they may not sell many bubble teas so one can expect they aren't making new tapioca all the time.
The server offered that she can remake my drink if I didn't like it as she recommended it to me. No need though it was OK!
Super clean and cute interior! Tons of topping options and I love how everything — from the portion sizes to the number of toppings — is completely customizable and you only pay for the final weight. I got the mango yogurt, vegan salted caramel, and original/plain with strawberries, chopped peanuts, graham crumbs, and coconut shreds. Delicious! You can also add sauces (nutella, fudge, peanut butter) to make it more indulgent.
They never update their flavours the same old Boring flavours every week. The pricing is expensive I swear if you just put a empty cup on there it will be $5. Other locations are much better Mississauga location
They never change their flavours. They literally keep the same flavours for more than a month at a time. They have started skimping on toppings and instead of the fresh chewy brownies they use burnt crumbly gross old brownie bits. They have a phone line that is fuzzy when you call and can barely hear what they are saying. This place has gone downhill. Gotta step your game up.
Worker was so rude 35 degrees I have epilepsy tell me to wait out side hot weather can bring seizures on I'm never coming back to this place ever again and this was my first time here too
I came in for the frozen yogurt. However, I saw that they now sell bubble tea! I decided to give it a try and it is phenomenal! Each one is made individually and are fresh brewed right in front of you. The tea tastes fresh and just to my liking. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, very good experience at this location! Will be coming back for more.
The yogurt is up to expectation, as all yogurtys, but the service is poor. I've frequently had to wait for a cashier to come from the back, cups to be put out, etc. I usually go at night when it's not busy, so perhaps it's different during the day, but from what I've experienced, not one of the better locations.
They have Bubble Teas now, and even some HOT tea lattes? NUTS Ceylon CREAM CHEESE latte and Tiramisu latte with the foams are pretty good. Maybe their special drink options are not as extensive as Alleys just 5 mins away, but for the "normal" bubble teas like black milk teas or green teas, I'd say they taste a lot fresher than Chatime and Coco.and wth, bubble waffle for $2? Who wouldn't want that
No gift cards? Apparently you can still buy them elsewhere but not use them at this location? IF there is a new loyalty program then they need to take the option to buy form ALL stores so that customers are not being mislead to believing they can redeem at locations. If you are "upgrading" your POS system, then do it in a way that all location conditions are similar.
I went in not too long ago and there was a very friendly girl at the counter to help me since it was my first time and I never had any of the flavors. I think she said her name was Melody or Melanie? She also made really great conversation when I talked to her since I came in by myself. But overall, very tidy and clean, wide range of vegan and dairy friendly options. Will come again!
Unfriendly service No debit and credit payment available 2 of the flavour options weren't working 2 vegan, 2 sorbet, vanilla and chocolate were only options to choose from Worker weighed my cup on one scale and said till wasnt working. So weighed it on the other scale and it came up a more expensive price (about 60 cents) and charged me that amount Will not be going back to this location
The yogurt is fine the toppings are great. But the chairs are not accessible. I'm a mid-fat person and I found the chairs to ve uncomfortable due to their arm rests. I talked to the staff about it and she looked at me like I had three heads the suggested I email her manager but didn't give me an email.
I brought my kids in last week for a quick treat before hockey practice, and a young lady helped us. She was wonderful - I think her name was Lauren? (so sorry if I'm wrong) She had short hair, very personable, knew a lot about the different flavours and gave GREAT suggestions for the kids! Amazing job Yogurty's, very impressed!
