Serene Tea

Really nice bubble tea shop. The tapioca pearls were fresh and the texture was nice. The taro milk tea was nice. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the drinks were done quickly. The shop also has several tables with games for customers who dine in and some tasteful decor with lamps and plants. Would return if I'm back in Saskatoon.

On holiday and doing my part. Beautiful place and wonderful service.
1. The guy commenting whining he got a couple ice cubes in drink and upcharged for it probably asks for no ice at bars and thinks he gets more alcohol. Take an aspirin and relax.
2. Some lady having an anneurism over kids playing cards can get bent. Would you rather they go and run in your backyard? Absolute insanity.

Love this place! They can take a while sometimes to make your drink, but staff are welcoming and drinks are great!

This is my favourite bubble tea place in Saskatoon! The staff is always nice. I asked them to make me a drink that was not on their menu and they were very kind and did it for me. I highly recommend this place!

They gave me a free drink because the one they gave me wasn't up to standard, i thought it tasted fine but i wont complain

Staff were not that welcoming! We ordered coffee and cheese cake and we informed by one of the customer that our order is ready! Otherwise we might wait till for ever!
Cheese cake was fresh but not a a common one you do eat in coffee shops!
You can also see kids sitting and playing cards!

Not recommended for adults to go

I ordered a oreo milk tea and i ordered no ice which they upcharge for and the end of the day I got ice. Just pathetic

I love love love that this place has games on the tables! My little sister and I love to grab a tea and hang out and visit over some connect 4! The tea is delicious too!

Great boba and snack place! It's just the orders take a really long time to be prepared. Also pls separate the order of food even if we came together, bc we payed separately.

A very straightforward boba shop. The shop has a plethora of tabletop games like Jenga, Uno, and some deck of cards. Had a nice small game of Blackjack before hitting the road!

Store has a wide variety of drinks and foods ranging from small snacks to lots of drinks.

Would be nice to have an open shelf, around average height of a person, then have plants, books, or more board games in display. Will segregate other tables and have more of an isolation from other tables so people that wants to enjoy by themselves can be at peace; works with group of friends to that want to have their own space.

This shop has the best Bubble Tea I've ever had! I may not have had alot of Bubble Tea, but the service was so friendly and helpful. We had questions and requests for recommendations, which they were happy to offer. We loved the drinks we got so much, we've been back several times now to try new ones. There are tables set up inside to stay and play games, but we have always taken it to go.

Had tea with a friend here. They have a lot of tea options. I went with matcha milk tea + no sugar + no pearls. Lovely and simple. It's great that you can control your sugar intake. I wish they'd have had the diary-free option for the milk teas (eg. Like almond milk). Not everyone can handle dairy.

Oh they also have games on each table, Incase you need to play a game while having tea and catching up with friends. It's a really nice initiative.

Bad customer service, and its not only one time.

Here are some examples;

We ordered a korean corndog and not only did it take 46 minutes to get, but they didnt even give the right amount of it.

Most recent one was them forgetting my friends drink. I ordered and right after me, my friend ordered as well. A few minutes later i got my drinks. My friend had to wait an extra 20 minutes just for them to ask my friend what we needed. We told them we still needed a drink, but they completely forgot about it.

Dont get me wrong, their drinks are fantastic. Its just i hope they do better on their customer service.

They have the best bubble tea in town. The place is nice and cozy. Me and my friend met up there to work on our homework. The place is very clean too and the staff is friendly. I will definitely keep going there and suggest other ppl to go there too.

This is my absolute favourite place to get bubble tea. The flavors are strong and fresh, the Pearl's are soft and saturated with taste, and the staff is very kind. They have tables with games on them to play while you wait or while you drink, and the large windows invite lots of natural light. The prices are fair too. Over all, I'd recommend this to everyone and will continue to buy my boba from here

This review may not be fair because I ended up walking away but here it goes anyways. On October 9 2021 I came to Serene tea around 7pm to buy strawberry smoothie. Because I was feeling cold that day I requested to use water instead of ice. The dude at the cash rudely refused the order. I then tried to order a fruit tea without ice (with water instead), yet again I was given the "get out of here look". We then drove all the way to Rayla's and bought what we want. Point is you might have to look elsewhere if you don't want ice

Had a great time! Friendly staff and delicious tea definitely recommend there's even different games like uno jenga and more. If you like games and tea you'll just have to come check out this spot for yourself

A lovely little tea / coffee shop. It has a fun and trendy atmosphere. You can sit and relax having a drink with your bestie whilst playing a fun game of Jenga!

First time going to Serene Tea and first impression is a 5/5. Very clean and well kept environment with spaced out seating. They had a good selection of teas from Milk Tea, Smoothies and other fruit tea options. I would like to try the other food items like their Bahn Mi's and wonton soup.

We had the Taro and Earl Grey Milk teas with Tapioca Pearl's. You can select the amount of sugar and ice. Bubble teas range from $4.75 to $6.00. Both teas were very delicious with a good amount of pearls and the taro is NOT grainy! Would definitely come back to try more options and recommend this place to others.

My favourite go to place to get bubble tea in Saskatoon! They have lots of amazing drink options, toppings, and desserts! Customer service is always amazing and the atmosphere is very friendly and calming!

I used to love this place. But once covid hit, I realized how unsanitary their food handling was. First, they never make their bubble tea with masks on, even after mandatory masking was in place, I would walk in and see the staff scrambling to put their mask on, or they would wear it under their nose. I also noticed no one washes their hands between taking your payment and making the drinks. Even though their teas are so good, I don't think I'll ever come back.

I appreciated their patient explanations and suggestions for a first time bubble tea buyer. Popping pearls are great!

Best milk tea place in town! Request for cream cheese toppings, you'll thank me later! Also if you're an ARMY, they often play BTS songs here so that's a plus for me! Haha

My Fruit tea was beyond my expectations! Usually when I ask for aloe as a topping is usually artificial. Today I got organic aloe and is tasted fantastic! I'm very happy and I'll come back for sure. The staff was friendly we ordered various drink and we all liked it. Keep up with the great product!

Oh my god I love this place, the inside is clean and very cute, they normally have k-pop playing and have uno, connect 4, and jenga, the drinks and food are very good and staff is always friendly I love this place so much 11/10

This is the best Bubble Tea I've ever had! Serene Tea makes a mean taro, winter melon, roasted milk tea, etc. They're all amazing and a flavourful force to be reckoned with! Outdoes the competition by a landslide!

Love their menu! Their tea is THE best! Everything including decor and seating is great the Only downside is they are sooooo understaffed. The wait takes quite awhile and the staff are not very vocal about the time of wait or when they want you to even order. They receive alot of phone orders and theres only 2 people working. The wait if theres 3/4 ppl waiting is about 20 minutes. I appreciate the girls but they need more help. All their jelly/boba is extremely fresh. Excellent! But not worth the wait ️

Very disappointed. My cup broke as I was sitting at the table before I even got to take a sip and I had to pay for a whole new drink. I waited for about 45 minutes thinking they would make me a new one and when I got up to ask if they would, made me pay all over again. Ended up paying over 12$ for one drink.

Waiting in the line for more than 15 minutes but no heads up! Then I had to leave as I had an appointment. Went back there after one hour but this time they were out of pearls and some other flavours what I wanted. It was just 4 pm but they are open till 10 pm. I don’t recommend this. I am not going there anymore rather I will drive 15 mins to go to Jusfruit.

Had their signature black with bubble, went with 30% sweet and for someone who usually go for minimum sugar it’s a tad sweet but the bubbles at 1pm are in the perfect consistency I like! Soft and jelly like without any hardness in the center, and not overly soft so it fluffy on the outside. Awesome gem of a place.

Fantastic service, one of the best bubble tea spots in the city!

Absolutely love this place! They always cook the pearls perfectly so they taste great and their tea is fresh. I recommend the 4 seasons fruit tea as well as the serene milk tea, but really all of their drinks are great. Try the food too! This is a local business worth supporting
