I want to thank the Customer Service Liason lady, JENNIFER WATT, to whom I spoke with today on the phone. I had a problem with my gas fireplace and Jennifer not only solved the problem but intuitively knew I wasn’t comfortable and was nervous pushing buttons etc. She slowly and with kind patients and understanding, talked me through a few problem-solving scenarios over 3 phone calls. The problem was solved, and I’m now cozy and warm again. Her knowledge and expertise saved me an unnecessary service call for which I am very grateful. Jennifer deserves an ‘Employee Gold Star” and I am so happy to be dealing with such a great business… HEAT SAVERS HOME COMFORT. Thank you again Jennifer!

I really liked my new fireplace and the service. BUT the service employee wasn't aware the phone didn't hang up. And said. "You are not a smart person Justin. Good lord" so one star for that. Also you can't return items that are in stock. Anyway doesn't bother me but by how Jennifer is on the phone you could expect such behaviour.

We were extremely impressed with the service we received from Heat Savers. Booking the service appointment for our fireplace was very easy and the service technician, Brad, was amazing. He arrived on time, was clearly very knowledgeable, and efficiently diagnosed and repaired our fireplace. He was also very respectful of our space and ensured that the area he was working in remained in the same condition that he found it in. We are pleased with the heat pump system we purchased from Heat Savers. Brett was very helpful in designing a system that suited our needs. The installation crew was prompt, thorough, and neat. They took time to ensure the final system worked efficiently but also considered how it would affect the appearance of the house. Communication was great throughout the very quick process between initial contact, getting the estimate, and installation.

We just moved to Victoria in 2021. After having a bad experience with a local fireplace firm I called heat saver. I’ve had them out twice now to service my Valor gas fireplace and they are now the only firm I will call. I found their service technicians to be prompt, knowledgeable, and efficient. Thanks Dave for all the little tips you passed on.

Literally, Heat Savers saved our fireplace! We were having issues with our high quality fireplace. Our Frame TV and Sonos sound bar were incompatible with the amount of heat generated. Heat Savers came to the rescue and retro fitted a heat shift into the existing cavity. No easy feat. They did it with the absolute minimum disruption to the tile front and really minimized our overall expense. We couldn’t be happier with both the solution and the service.

We are very pleased with the replacement of our fireplace by Heat Savers. Sheldon, our salesperson and Dave who was the installer, both did an amazing job! Thank you very much! We appreciate all you did for us.

Jennifer at Heat Savers was terrific to deal with. She went out of her way to arrange for Heat Savers staff to come really quickly to our home on an emergency repair project, thus ensuring that our carpentry and stucco contractors were not held up.
We also were impressed with Heat Savers’ natural gas technicians. They were timely, considerate and very thorough, and we would gladly have them back in our home in the future.

I have been waiting 3 months for a replacement remote control (under warranty) for my Pacific Energy fireplace. This fireplace has had very poor performance since it was installed in 2017. This will be my third remote (if I ever get it!).

On December 14,2022 I called Heat Savers Home Comfort (HSHC) to clean and service my fireplace. The technician was friendly (hence the ONE STAR) and I thought he was thorough. I asked about turning off the pilot light until I wanted to use the fireplace to save on propane. He said yes I could and wasn't told it would be difficult to turn it back on. I paid $199.00 plus tax. On or about December 16 & 17th (during the snow storm), I could not get the pilot light and left several voice messages to see if they could come back to light the pilot light. They called me back at the end of December or first week of January 2023. They said they would come back if I paid them an additional $179.00 AND was told without a second look that I might have to pay for new parts or a fireplace. I tried negotiating on the side of "customer service". But, they would not consider such a concept. Frustrated, I called Gaslight Heat Services (GHS) and they came out to start my fireplace in less than 10 minutes and did not try to upsell me another unit or part. In addition, the Gaslight Heat Services' technician was surprised to see that my fireplace was not clean. When he pointed to the gravel and debris at the bottom of the fireplace noting it was not done thoroughly. Gaslight Heat Services charged me 3/4 LESS the price of HSHC who tried to double dip me for ($179.00 within 30 days of the original service date). In today's economical environment, businesses like HSHC should consider the VALUE of what customer service means to consumers, their pocketbooks and the potential for repeat satisfied customers. HSHC will be happy to know, I won't be calling them again. Alooooha HSHC!

We love our new Valor fireplace. It's beautiful, gives off great heat and the flames are like being at the campfire. Amazing service and installation - all good experience.
