I have used this place many times over the years. It seems things changed under new ownership. My dad went to ship an item that needed to be packaged and we previously would be charged $2-5 to package an item, worst case $10 if it needed a lot of material and/or was quite large. Now that cost was $35. Just to package it.
Also customs forms, both the previous ownership here and the UPS stores I've been (recently) to will type up and print out a completed customs form (commercial invoice) for you. Here they print out a blank form and give you a pen. What would have been 20 seconds is now several minutes.
Obviously they have a different philosophy but along with shipping prices being higher (in general, not their fault) their markup also seems to be much higher for everything (you essentially need to negotiate every sale) and customer service is not quite what it used to be.
It's unfortunate, but it is substantially more economical to acquire your own supplies, self-package and use your own shipping accounts (the last one being surprising considering volume). You used to be able to get it all done in one place for a reasonable cost. Doesn't seem to be the case anymore, but I'm also not one for negotiating every time I go in either. A pass from me.

Excellent experience here shipping a prebuilt PC internationally. Had answers to all my questions and then some. Very professional service.
