Hangs up the phone, states you can’t pick up packages with the same address even though you can. Because I’ve done this with Canada post down the street. Is rude, doesn’t like to listen when customers try and talk, and has received my package by someone named Joseph

Wish I could leave minus stars! What everybody says is true, the owner is very rude! He told me it’s a UPS store, but he doesn’t work for UPS. I don’t think UPS should do any business with this jerk (nor anybody). He prides himself on being rude and quite possibly gets off on it. He refused to give me a receipt, told me he’s been there for 18 years which means he’s doing something right. Wrong! It’s the only UPS drop off in Maple Ridge… So I dropped off my parcel at Coquitlam UPS (by Pomme) and it was done efficiently and politely (with a receipt!). Save yourself the aggravation and go to literally any other UPS, you’ll get better service.

If I can vote a 0 star I will do so! Worst company ever! Rude, didn’t help to check even with the tracking number and my package just right at their store? Seriously? Didn’t drop off the package at front door instead of just received an email says “we missed you” a reschedule notice! Don’t go there ever! Nothing worth it!

I’ve been there twice and rarely write reviews. Couldn’t be less friendly if they tried. Counter was full of parcels and I had 4 odd shaped packages…he points and says put it there…so I put the box of packages on top of the pile and he says, ” I don’t need the box”…I then proceed to play jenga trying to balance the packages on top of the pile…. He says nothing other than watch me struggle. I will avoid ups in maple ridge at all costs… fedex here I come

I've never had an issue. I've either paid to have my package sent by UPS or just dropped it off and left. The guy is always nice.

Dont use this location and definitely dont get your packages sent here. They will refuse your packages for no reason. On top of that this place has worst customer service I've ever seen.

Terrible ups store couldn’t even get a confirmation of dropping off a high valued item that needed to go back to the manufacturer. Ridiculous.no receipt.no email

This location has an extremely impersonal and rude representative. Took an Amazon return, and without even scanning, stated wrong label, I would have to go into the U. S.to drop at a location there. I proceeded to get another label, and again, without scanning, stated the same thing, have to go to the U. S.

I ended up in Surrey for some reason, decided to try the UPS store there, using the same label as last time. He immediately scanned it, accepted the package, and stated it would go out following Tuesday. Took less than 2 minutes.

The Maple Ridge location should be looked at by corporate, or just close it. It is useless. Do not go there, use any other location!

Smells in the store of cigarettes. Store refuses to give receipts when dropping off UPS packages. Sincerely recommend using somewhere else.

Aligns with lost other reviewers. Place sucks not sure why it is a UPS Store, the owner never has UPS envelopes so tries to push other providers (most likely more profit for him). However my business uses UPS, so I always end up driving all the way to the Coquitlam location, where they provide great service to their customers.

Well just like everyone else I’m not impressed at all. 1o’clock mean my package should be there by 1pm next day. No apology from the Asian representative. Had encountered before with this guy same thing. I guess UPS don’t care at all. I actually blame UPS for this rating.

$1.20 to print a single sheet of paper if you pay by cash and $1.35 if paid by credit card. Places like this can't go out of business soon enough.

I like to call this place the Useless Parcel Store, since it may be the most useless place to pickup packages.

I had a package a few months ago that was dropped at this Access Point, and the email I received stated it was ready for pickup. I went to the store, only to have the fella who works there tell me "I don't have it, try again tomorrow". I go home, call UPS Customer Service, and am assured that it IS there and ready for pickup. I call the store to confirm, mentioning that I spoke to customer service, and the fella at the store states "Those people are from India, they don't know what they're talking about". Besides the racism, this time he checks by tracking number (he had only scanned by notice when I walked in), and he does confirm it was available for pickup there when I walked in earlier.

Now I'm dealing with similar issues. My packages are being refused at this Access Point with no reason being given. I've called the Useless Parcel Service's customer service line several times, assured by them that it would be dropped here the next day, just to have the tracking update with "Refused by receiver, return to sender" (I never refused the package).

While it's practically impossible to avoid these incompetents when you order online, I'd recommend doing what you can to avoid their services (especially if you live in the Maple Ridge area). Whether it's dealing with customer service giving the runaround, the driver who doesn't even attempt to deliver and just leaves a notice for pickup (useless if the Store won't accept it for pickup), or the rude/racist/lazy guy running this store, you'll be infuriated eventually.

I've never experienced such terrible customer service in my life. I read the review before going, and now I see why customers are so angry with this store. I wouldn't even give the employee there 1 star. He literally ruined my day today because he is so haughty and lacks empathy. He will irritate you with his fake smile and answers by manipulating your emotions. If you want your day to go smoothly, please choose the other UPS location rather than the Maple Ridge location.

How does this place stay in business?

To be clear, this is not an issue with UPS, it's a problem with this location. The store onwner makes up his own rules and are basically straight up lying about the package delivery rules. I would give no star if I could.

Have had multiple occasions where what he said doesn't match the rules on UPS website. He just doesn't care, worse yet, he has a really arrogant attitude about the whole thing.

I use the UPS in Langley now, they have lovely people helping me!

Honestly didn't even wanna put a star, This was my very first time going to a UPS store to pick up my package and right away I noticed the man working was not being very nice to the other customers infront of me, then my turn.he tells me to put down my paper and then ignore me then tells me my package wasn't there I said ok and asked when should it be here? He said again it's not here.so I told him that he should treat people more nice and he said well I don't work for UPS, I said your still working in customer service and should be treating people better then this, yes I yelled at him only because of his bad attitude towards everything and everyone.he should be fired!

As with other reviewers I only chose one star as there is no ZERO star option for this store as well as UPS in general. The unapologetic guy strolled in 15 minutes late after scheduled opening and disappeared for a while. (I had wanted to mail my package Saturday but of course they take both Saturday and Sunday off, so I was there at 9 am Monday waiting for the store to open). Then he eventually, silently took my package while looking disgusted. So you can imagine his excitement when I asked for a receipt. Kind of a stick that idea where the sun don't shine look. Background, UPS has been deplorable every time I've taken a delivery at home by them. They literally throw the package somewhere in the vicinity of the yard and run away. I'm shocked why Costco and other big companies use these turkeys. And of course they still give you zero tracking information until the package arrives. I went online to ensure that guy had actually sent my package, and to this moment (that was a week ago) it is still unclear whether the package actually left the store. Zero stars or less is the result for this company and location. Hard to believe in this day and age of usually decent customer service everywhere else. I totally expected this, but unfortunately I had no option as my return method was determined by my supplier.

There is not an option for ZERO stars, but if there was this store is doing everything in its power to earn it. From not having packages when the delivery slip says they would have it to closing 20 minutes early on a Friday night, this store is a joke. Customer service is so bad it's laughable. If you have the option I would recommend NEVER going to this store

Should be a zero stars! Absolutely avoid this place at all cost! The guy is the rudest man. He will not provide a receipt and if you dare to tell him every other place does, then he tells you to "go there then" with such an attitude! The store was messy and disorganized as well. NEVER EVER will I go there again! I left and took my package to Surrey where I received wonderful UPS service.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Tried dropping off package, refused to print off label for me with account number. Ok sure, you don't print off labels, wonderful. Can I have a manual waybill to fill out? No they don't have manual waybills. It's a UPS store without UPS store supplies. Makes sense. Tells me I could go to Coquitlam or Langley. Why don't you just close this store then if you can't do any of the things people need besides taking pre-labelled packages? Isn't the point to help people ship? You could just have this store as a Giant drop off location with one of those slots Canada post uses for their drop off boxes, then the UPS driver could just unlock and pick up. Absolutely no point to have someone in there that doesn't want to help and doesn't have the supplies to help.

Went in to return an Amazon package and the man working there was so incredibly rude that I was actually quite upset when I left. It should have been a quick return but he was so dismissive and short with his answers I just ended up leaving…. Never going back to that one…. Ever!

I'm not sure how a UPS store gets such low ratings. But I was here. It was not busy. The staff member on site was friendly and helpful. The price of service was not bad. I was helped without interruption from beginning to end of my needs.

The gentleman who works here is very friendly and helpful. Everything went smooth and he gave me a proper receipt for the box return I dropped. I didn't receive that during my last visit in another store even when asked for it

This is the WORST customer service experience i have ever received in my life. I thought it was just me but after reading other negative reviews here, i feel better that it's not my problem. The owner/employee of this store refused to give me a dropoff receipt when dropping off an Amazon return package. Every other locations I have dropped off before always scanned the package and give me an email receipts. He was just standing there and would not acknowledge me and simply lazy and didn't want to answer any questions. I would NEVER come back to this store!

Always an unfortunate experience. I look forward to providing honest feedback if the business owner would like to discuss, but at this time I will report that during every encounter with this store in the past few years have been very disappointing. The service is always less than helpful and even with simple tasks such as drop-off or pickup have incredibly difficult. Please make things right if you have any consideration for your customers who wish to engage in positive interactions with you and your store.

Absolutely the worst customer service. No help at all. Talks over you and says your not listening. When in fact he won't let you talk to explain anything. Tells me to call a 1800 number if only he got some skills in listening and customer service.

I’m beyond furious at what I was told at this store. Came in to mail a parcel to the UK on 21/12, and was told it would be there by 24/12 with UPS (DHL) Express. Told it would be picked up on 22/12 in the afternoon, and would be able to track it starting in the late afternoon on 22/12. Paid over $200 for Express Worldwide for a small (albeit moderately heavy) package. I start tracking it on the 22nd, and lo and behold, the delivery date is now 29/12 and DHL told me there’s no way it would have got to my parents house in the UK from here by Christmas Eve and are not sure why the clerk would have told me this. I knew it wasn’t going to get there before Christmas, I would have mailed it with Canada Post and saved myself a HUGE amount of money. I specifically paid to send it here to give it the best chance of getting there on Christmas Eve. Honestly, I feel like I was upsold to an expensive service with false hope. 100% he knew it wouldn’t be there but saw me for the mug I was and took me for the $$$. Feel like I’ve been mugged. Please avoid this place. I knew deep down I should have sent it FedEx, and I’m kicking myself for not doing so. When I told him I’d check the price with FedEx, he said “they won’t be any cheaper or quicker” - and as it was 5pm already, I had no choice but to go for it. I’m so so annoyed at both myself and the owner of this store. Shady af.

Terrible service.not very helpful charged me a ridiculous fee to have a package picked up there. Yet if I ship to my home and they re-route to this location it doesn’t cost anything.the store is dark and dingy. I would rather drive to the langley location.

I had a box I received from UPS to send back some equipment that was expensive. I brought the box to this UPS to send back. As I have never done this, I still had the box open and the way bill not attached yet. I asked the gentlemen if this was okay to send. He replied. Yeah just leave it there. I said can I please have some tape to close the box as this is expensive, also could I have something showing it was sent (a way bill number to track) he rudely explained to me he was busy and didn't have time for this. I waited until he finished doing what he was doing (no one else was in the store) he then sighed and taped the box for me. I put the way bill sticker on the box and took a picture of it. I said sorry to inconvenience you to do your job, he said this is actually not my job and threw my box on the ground behind him. Incredibly rude. I will never use this location again. Is this the customer service UPS want to project?

I’m writing this review to caution people when parked at UPS Maple Ridge on 225th. I was parked in front of the store before proceeding to retrieve pizza from Dominos next door. As I’m in my vehicle, a man swings his door open and hits my passenger side door. I proceed to confront him and he denies that he hit my car. I showed him the damage done to my car and asked him to open his car door which had clear evidence of it perfectly lining up with my vehicle. He said the scratch must’ve been there before, even though I heard the loud bang as he hit my car. Nothing was resolved of this and he proceeded to work his shift at UPS. I urge others to avoid this place and its customer service for not taking accountability on damaging other vehicles.

Very poor experience overall - you're better off driving to Langley for an enhanced Customer experience. $2 to pay for a shipping label (the equivalent to 5 cents to print one page) ; boxes are scattered all over the floor. Not a representation of what the UPS brand is meant to be.

UPDATE: Not a standard UPS drop off point now. Charges $2 to take a package.

Was there for "opening" at 9. No sign of anyone at 10: 20.pretty frustrating!
