Despite being a customer, I was treated with hostility and disrespect. I would not recommend this location to anyone and suggest that UPS headquarters investigate this individual's behavior. They go above and beyond for me when I enquiry a delivery of an envelope that failed to deliver due to the PSAC strike. I decided to listen to their advice and I do not regret because the envelope is delivered after Ve fourth attempts!

Ups is the worst courier. I will never recommend them nor ask there service. Rude, disrespectful, scammers! Stay away!

First time sending an Amazon return to the US and was worried because the Amazon customs printout was compressed to a small unreadable size. The Asian gentleman said I didn't need any of that, scanned it in and it was promptly shipped out and I got my refund the next day.

Horrible owner, I walked in and asked him about an UPS box, he said he will not give out any boxes. I asked him for a quote, and he said I cannot be there if I haven't paid.

Terrible customer service. I have pre-paid return label, the owner asked me to pack properly in order to ship. And I told them that do you have a suitable box? He said that no, and it is your problem not mine. Finally, I have to go to No. 2 & Bundlell Rd one, and everything runs smoothly with same condition of packaging. I don’t know who is problem

Great place to print and receive your deliveries. Staff is very friendly and professional. I've printed here large scale too. Highly recommend this UPS store!

I wish that the staff is more accommodating and friendly. I didn't feel welcome and it's like they left me out alone to navigate how to send a parcel especially for someone like me who usually does not send packages.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Almost impossible to contact a human being through this company and once I finally did get another person to talk to they were rude and gave me a lot of attitude over a simple question. This was a terrible experience.

DO NOT EVER SHIP ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE.

They have no idea what they're doing, okay maybe the guy sort of does, but the lady definitely does not. I shipped a package of high value ($400+) that I wasn't even paying the shipping on (recipient was paying for it) so obviously I want the insurance and delivery confirmation on. I audibly requested insurance, the lady heard me and when it came to that section of the form and I started to ask questions where I'm supposed to initial/sign everything, she pulled the form away and said "Don't worry about it" so I'm like cool she heard me, she's got this.paid $185.47 to ship this thing to Belgium.

Well, UPS completely destroyed the item and guess what? No insurance. On top of it all? UPS issued a cheque for $192.58 to this UPS Store to pay me back part of the shipping (working on getting the rest) plus $100 damage coverage, and these guys decided that I probably didn't know the amount of the cheque and KEPT the $7.11 extra they received that was intended for me and only refunded me the $185.47. When I argued the amount he was surprised I knew and started uttering random words/excuses. Did I let him have it and tell him what I think of him and his business? I sure did, I'm out $400.00 because of these idiots.

PETTY THIEFS and TOTALLY INCOMPETENT.

Oh yah, the lady also had no idea where Belgium was and she spelled the recipient's name wrong on the tracking information. Just an all around amazing (sarcasm) experience.

By the way, in case anyone thinks I made this up, here's a screen capture of the e-mail from UPS and my refund receipt at the store showing the discrepancy where they just decided to keep the extra from the UPS cheque for themselves:

Very, very poor customer service. Rude and not helpful. Did not provide me a receipt when dropping off a package for proof of drop off, even though i asked multiple times for one just in case and caused a headache with the recipient disputing my drop off as the package was not received. Also charged me 12$ for a shipping box the size of a shoe box. I would recommend dealing with a different UPS store for the safety and security of your packages.

I usually don't go to UPS, but I have been in this store several times in the past months and I am grateful to the help I have always get. Thank you! Customer service here has been complete, fast, efficient and I am very satisfied. Keep on the good work!

I was reluctant to open a po box here as I read all the terrible reviews. I considered the UPS store at No2 & and Blundell, but they had some scathing reviews also. Seeing as this location is closer to my home, I decided to give this location a chance. I went there fearing the worst. I arrived there at 5: 55pm being prepared they would send me away since they would be closing at 6pm and would not want to deal with the paperwork. To my surprise, the man was helpful and didn't mind opening the mail box for me. I later learned his name is Bert. I did not see the lady of who previous reviewers stated was mean and unhelpful. I can only speak for my own experience and I was pleased with how Bert handled the situation.

TLDR: Come here if customer service doesn't matter to you.
Pros: Convenient location for central Richmond folks
Cons: Rude and unhelpful owners. Don't expect to be treated like customers, more like kids bothering their parents during a 12 hour drive. What can brown do for you? Nothing, get out.

Hope you folks can improve, but I'm taking my business elsewhere.

I've had the worst service ever do UPS oh I will not use their service again I will use other services like perlator or FedEx or Canada Post I can't get any questions answered I asked to talk to a district manager and you just tell me is Kona phone number I found a phone number I'm on hold for 3 hours it took me three days to get ahold of a real human and I still didn't get the answers I needed this is very poor service in in today's world I'm shipping a lot of inventory and stuff I find it very unprofessional of UPS not being able to take care of the customers and answer questions and not have a not have a person dedicated to answering and solving their problems and question show me the parts I sent or are you essential Service Parts very poor service I do not recommend them

I also found this store to treat me like I am an interruption of whatever it is they might be doing. I had the paperwork done, No one in front of me15 minutes for them to accept the package. Called for pricing on simple printing. Tried for an hour, wouldn't pick up on that extension. They are 2 blocks away, ended up making a call to the one 3 miles away, they answered on 2nd ring, gave me the price, I gave them the job. Owner here at Garden City seems intent on arguing his point than reading and understanding why the majority of reviews have unfriendly service as their primary complaint.

What on earth there is a service staff with this poor attitude! Very very unprofessional. I usually don't give comment but I have to do it for this time. Its totally unacceptable in these days. The guy (looks like he is the owner) shows you a "black" face and has no will to help. Beware people! I will complain to UPS, and please do the same if you have the same poor experience as me.

Extremely poor service! I feel sorry about UPS giving them the license to operate. The guy speaks Mandarin has very very bad service. Not polite at all. I asked if I should get a receipt of dropping off a package, he said you can take the parcel back. I wish I can give negative star!

The store is supposed to be opened on Saturday, they are CLOSED. Nowhere on the door or on the official UPS site says they are closed on a Saturday before BC day on Monday August, 3 2019

Dropped off my next day urgent package. Only to find out it was misplaced or left behind by the courier that does pickup at 300pm in the afternoon. They could of called me and I would of gladly drive it to the airport depot myself. But nope, I found the package the next morning and drove it to the airport myself. UPS is just horrible, just go ship with FedEx instead.

Because of inadequate staff training and lack of customer service my time and business was hurt. I dropped off an expensive item here and asked Bert to pack and ship it for me which he said no problem. When it was received the item was damaged beyond repair. I even bought insurance which the 3rd party company said it was due to improper packaging. I have been going back and fourth for a year and nobody is willing to take any liability. The only thing I got back was my shipping fee. I will never go to this store let alone ship with UPS because they do not care when their employees are not properly trained and continue to let issues like this persist.

Do not go to this UPS location. Drop off your package at your own risk. I ask for a receipt to proof of drop off. The male owner said no and told me to leave it on the counter and go. I insist on some type of confirmation to protect me in case the package go missing in the store or not scan in the system. Furthermore the people in the store can steal your package and say you never drop it off then it will be your word against his. Long story short the owner got very upset and told me I can go to another UPS location. He said this is how things are done here. So I ask if he can at least give me his name. He said no and told me to leave ASAP.
I left and went to the Ironwood UPS location instead. They were super helpful and enter the package in the system with my email address and send me the email confirmation right away.
My conclusion with the Garden City Mall location is either they are lazy, has inadequate training, or potential package thief. Nevertheless I will never go back to this location unless they change ownership or a new UPS licence is granted to another owner operator.

The couriers don't bother ringing or knocking. My wife is at home all the time and they never ring for the delivery. They just stick the "Missed Delivery" notice on the door and leave without even trying. I've had to come to the store to pick up my deliveries every single time.

If there is a choice of no star. I would give. I went to the store to send mail. They didn't even let you check the mailing address and already put the mail away.they typed in with a totally wrong company's name and address without floor.the mail was lost, I had to contact with head office for 2 days in order to find mail.we end up picked it up in the head office. If you want to be screwed up, Please go to this ups site.

The is the best UPS store I have been to! The owner is super helpful! He's able to suggest shipping methods with lower shipping cost, but still able to get the documents delivered on time! He's also happy to help clients with packaging. Not every courier out there would do that. He and his store has my highest recommendation!

Worst service I've ever had with UPS. The owner is really rude and hanged up phone calls from us when we asked for after service. Customer should not be treated this way. Don't go there!

Low quality service, stupid UPS policy. The stuff here will not give you package unless you bring your house here and prove this address is yours. My opinion is, do not use UPS, if you have to do so just get rid of this horrible store.
