The UPS Store

Harry lamba has been very helpful and professional each time I visit his UPS store. And I have visited his store for over 10 years. My only comments are that he is the best. Just thought I should let everyone know how important it is to be a people person. Just making sure he’s customers are comfortable and satisfied makes a big difference and I appreciate his professionalism. He’s excellent.

There Costomer service for UPS is garbage
Please use some other UPS store for drop off or return Etc

The owner is an army veteran and an amazing person, I always go to this place for my courier/xerox needs.

Just terrible. I have reached out to customer support a week ago and still no reply despite being told 3 days in a row that someone would call and sort out the situation.

Really worst customer service. Yesterday i went to store to get print outs of important documents. The person named Harry was on call and I just said “excuse me” because i was in hurry and i couldn’t wait. He didn’t understand the situation and started to giving me a lecture that I’m in canada and i have to learn some manners. Seriously i need to learn manners? I think he should learn how to handle customers and situations. I am also working as sales associate and handling phone calls but my first priority is customer not a phone call. If that person is reading this review please never judge anyone and try to learn how to attend customers and how to manage everything.

Harman was extremely helpful assisting me due to my package arriving a day early while I was stuck at work.

She confirmed with me that the package had arrived at UPS over the phone and ensured that my friend could come at retrieve the package as I work beyond 5: 30pm.

Great service and nice workers. Have had my mailbox there for a couple of years now. All straight forward and never had any issues, and I love that I can access my mailbox 24/7 with my own key. Thanks Harry and gals!

This is an excellent store to deal with for both shipping items and printing services. The owner, Harry, is friendly, polite and professional. His knowledge of printing is extensive. Our community at Chelsea Gardens deals a lot with him and his store. His printing services extends to signage in plastic and metal.

I'm very glad to have met Harry. His service and people skills are over the top. I drove down from West Van after work to pick up a few packages for my wife but realized that they're closed just 5 min before I would arrive. I called to ask Harry if I could still receive the packages after they closed. He generously offered to wait for me behind the store saying not to rush and to drive safely. Big ups to this UPS store with Harry taking charge!

I have been customer of Harry and his wonderful staff for almost 2 and a half years, and it has been a delightful experience being with them! They have helped me in processes ranging from lamination and book-binding to mailing visa documents and faxing university documents! For people who may not have a complete understanding of dealing with such processes, I highly recommend you to go to Harry and his Staff as they explain each step of tracking your own mailed documents and receiving them safely! I live closer to Staples and another UPS store, but being a student, I end up going to Harry and his Staff because they are trustworthy people and provide great quality products at an affordable price.

I highly recommend not coming to UPS store 88 for any of your small business printing needs. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of service provided by Harry Lamba.

I came to UPS to get labels made for my product, I had provided high quality vector images upon printing and had asked for proofing before any service began. Harry had refused and said "your files are the proof".

When I had arrived back at my studio to take a look at the labels under better lighting, I was absolutely disgusted by the quality of print done.

As a small business owner, having people be dishonest in the quality of work that they can provide can be detrimental especially during the pandemic.

Lots of fake reviews about this place, I just came out of this store sorely disappointed.

I've been to multiple UPS stores across the country and this was the first one where the owner was too lazy to answer simple questions, as well as provide tape and printing.

For reference if you go here: it's $1 for printing and $5 for tape.
Not a big deal but it's the only UPS I've been to that charged for it, it would appear to be another money grab.

Usually UPS Employees make the process as smooth as possible without any delays, it's possible to perform a quick 'in-and-out' of the store with a prepaid label. Not this place:
First thing I hear from the owner/employee is 'read the sign'. Obviously I'm here just to drop the package and leave, there shouldn't be any extra effort on my part. The owner continues to repeat to read the *multiple* different signs across the store, proceeds to tell me I'm incapable of reading, and calls me a five year old.

I have to do the work packaging, printing, taking the box and dropping it off, all while he just stands there. I understand laziness, but not to a degree where it sacrifices customer satisfaction. In fact, the customer should be the one who is lazy in this case!

I'd like to think I'm a pretty fair person, I try to avoid unnecessary judgements unless warranted but this place was absolutely appalling.

The owner just responded, which I appreciate, but keep in mind that the owner is lying in his response, as I'll clarify below:
Not every UPS Store has a nominal fee, this store is the only one, at least to the ones I've been to thus far.
I enjoyed the physical distancing, there was nothing ever wrong with that, although do keep in mind we wear masks for a reason, because people do breach the 2 meter / 6 feet distancing policy. There also wasn't any plexiglass from where he was insulting me within the store.
I never said that the email address was childish or anything of the sort. I was surprised when I asked where the email was, he retorted saying I couldn't read. Which is ironic considering the spelling mistakes in his response below which perhaps he'll edit out.

I made this review to bring attention to the abysmal customer service from this store. The owners response below isn't exactly an apology either.

Customer service one of the worst I’ve seen. This middle aged bearded guy was so rude it seemed he deliberately wanted to shut the business down. Wouldn’t recommend.

I needed doors to a vehicle delivered to Las Vegas, Nevada and I was given a reasonable price to ship them. Harry helped tremendously through the whole process and made the whole ordeal simple and easy. The doors were packed with great care and attention to detail. I would highly recommend using this UPS location.

UPS always helped me wherever I go, but this branch was beyond my expectation. Wonderful Harry!

The timings are very bad. Please improve your timings atleast until 6? I had to wait a full week to pick up something which was delivered earlier in the week? ! Very disappointing

This UPS Store and Harry are amazing. I've been dealing with Harry ever since City Lights Electrical Ltd began. He made us our business cards, jobsite posters and recently we had him make us back lit City Lights signs for our company Yacht Party. The event was on the fireworks night, however the signs lit brighter! I totally recommend The UPS Store #88, they constantly keep surprising me with products they can construct. If I can think it they can construct it!

I normally do not write bad reviews but I was very disappointed with their customer service. I was dropping off a box to ship but forgot to pack it & asked to borrow their tape the lady was already using. She refused to give it to me and told me I have to buy one of their new tape. I understand they don't make any money when we drop off packages with shipping label already paid & printed. I explained her just before 2 days I bought a whole bunch of boxes, packing material and tape from them I just didn't had it with me at that time so I even told her about it but she was like I can't do anything as she just works there and owner was right there too but he just didn't care and just ignored us as well.

Harry and his team at UPS are amazing. Love that I can email anything I need printed into the store, and when I get there staff help me select the best options available to me!

Great store and amazing owner! Everyone was very helpful and helped to complete my tasks quickly. They called after a few days to tell me that my big printing job was completed a bit early and the results were awesome!

Seriously? It’s headache after headache with this company. Endless delays and they do the bare minimum. First time I had a package delivered from them they claimed “no-one was home”, though home the whole day and unable to pick up for a few days due to health! Now, they don’t even bother to put the pick-up slip in the mailbox, they literally it left outside on the wall next to all the mailboxes, and not even near my own. This is extremely lazy and irresponsible. I understand that no one can take the slip and claim it theirs as they don’t have my ID, but if it was to be lost then how would I get my package? Additionally, when we complained to the UPS store the woman at the desk a few months ago, she shrugged and claimed she had “no control” over the drivers. They take no responsibility for their actions. I have worked in customer service for years and when a customer has a problem, it is expected to at minimum, attempt a solution and discuss the associate’s actions to ensure it doesn’t happen again. Avoid at all costs.

Harry was extremely attentive and helped me get everything done efficiently and effectively. Excellent service. Will definitely be recommending this location to all of my friends!

Harry (Store Manager) is fantastic to work with - very responsive and will work with you to make sure you get the best price, mail house, and packaging. I work for a non-profit and Harry has been an excellent business partner, with high quality prints for use in our fundraising and marketing. I highly recommend The UPS Store #88!

Harry the manager was really helpful and provided great customer service. I had and urgent international parcel to sent but due to work was gonna arrive after the store close time so harry agreed to wait a couple of minutes till I arrive so I can complete my transaction. He Went above and beyond for me and provided great customer service. Best UPS store and best manager. Recommend everyone to go here for all their shipping needs.
